My husband and I both love wegmans. We often go there on our date night to pick out food to cook for our dinner instead of going out to eat! The produce department is beautiful, fresh and vibrant, and during the summer, they offer produce from our local farms; the meat is always stocked and fresh; the bakery has fresh baked bread, cookies and cakes; the dairy section has so many wonderful cheeses; the beer department has many wonderful beers not only the well known brand names like Coors and labatts, but also many beers from our own local breweries! I could go on and on. Wegmans is very crowded on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. If you need to go shopping on those days, I recommend going before 10:00 a.m.

Staff is not trained to handle theft. When a womens purse is stolen with her entire life in it and she is in shock you dont say when asked why the police have not been called, "Well we tell the customers to call. If we called the Police every time someone said there purse was stolen they would be here all day." I had to ask 3 times for the cops to be called when my mothers purse was stolen. They treated us like we were an annoyance. I used to love shopping at this store but if this is how you car for your customers I will not be returning.

Dont shop at Wegmans if you dont want to deal with their idiotic coupon policy. They only allow you to use FOUR coupons per person per day. I tried to use more than 4 and the cashier had to call the manager. Then the manager had to find out information about their limiting coupon policy. Meanwhile the people who were behind me were moaning and groaning because the manager was taking so long. Finally after being embarassed by the Wegmans staff I was told I could only use four coupons. I will NEVER shop there again.

You cannot compare Wegmans to other grocery stores. Ask Alec Baldwins mom! Seriously, in a small town like Jamestown we are so incredibly fortunate to have Wegmans. I can buy Vietnamese rice wrappers to make spring rolls, or Pedersons No Sugar Bacon, or amazing sushi! They are always awarded one of the best places to work by Fortune magazine and Danny Wegman said he puts employees first so they will put the customer first...it works.

Best grocery store in the Jamestown/Warren area, PERIOD. I love shopping here: The store is large, open, full of interesting food and very affordable pricing. The inside dining area is well-maintained, the onsite sushi artists are excellent for a grocery store, and the grocery half has an excellent selection of artisan cheeses, alcoholic beverages, and foods both foreign and domestic.

Store is very busy at times and is well kept. Plenty of items to choose from copared to competitors in this area. They do have quite a selection in all areas of the store including the bakery section. Many specialty items if you are looking for something out of the ordinary.

Okay I am not saying that the place is bad its high class but Im really disappointed when I went to get a job there and I do have a disability and I got turned down Im allowed to work about 20 hours a week and I got turned down but other that the place is doing pretty good

Hands down one of the best places to shop in this region. This wegmans in particular sets the bar extremely high on terms of quality of produce, helpful, informative staff, and the layout is fantastic. Their eatery is also amazing. I highly recommend the subs from here.

Great customer service, their store brand is often at least as good as the name brand and always cheaper, theyre cheaper than TOPS, their hot bar is incredible and their coffee is divine. Also one of the only stores that gets the cotton candy grapes in the summer.

Great produce selection and quality. I like the bakery section as well, there is a lot of variety there. You can get a lot of individual items which is nice. Drink selection also very good. Prices are average, which is good for the quality! Overall a great store.

we always stop here at wegmans jamestown when we are here from pittsburgh...the young lady at the sandwich counter was so personable and the capacola hoagie she made me was probably the best i have ever had... wishing we had a store near the Burgh!

Always friendly service. Multiple registers open to decrease checkout time. Multiply free services that prove customers are appreciated such as umbrellas and carry out. Also excellent food made fresh in their dining area. Bathrooms always spotless.

Its clean & they have so many specialty items. The produce is amazing but pricey. The organic/vegan/vegetarian section is astounding. Their sushi is great. Their store brands are as good or better than the brand names.

I freakin love wegmans. This place can be nuts on the weekends!! Suggest going in the off hours or you will have a cart demolition derby with old people. Love the local cheeses and produce. Super fresh good quality.

As a foreign in the US, its pretty hard to find the tastes and spices we used to have in home town, but fortunately I found everything in Wegmans thus the prices are somehow expensive

It is a box store. Service has gone down. When it opened you could get in and out quickly. Now you stand in line for a cashier for up to 30 minutes while many of the ques are closed.
