Let me say while I have visited East Texas all my life, we have recently moved here full time. I was so impressed with Brookshires when we move here in the summer. Clean stores, helpful employees, fresh produce, some of which was even Local!! So disappointed now though in the winter, all they seem to have available in the produce aisle is from MEXICO! With all the disease laden produce coming from Mexico (think Chipotle Restaurants) one would think they would at least look to the Texas Valley, California and other places within the USA. I will gladly pay a bit more for USA produced products and I dont think I am the only one. Please Brookshires, reconsider what you are stocking. My family is tired of no produce. I only buy outside the USA when there is ABSOLUTELY no other way. When I travel to the DFW area, the stores stock produce grown in the United States. Why cant Brookshires?

This place sucks! I was assigned door 110 at 4am which was my appointment time. I was on time! Door 110 has a dropped trailer in it, so I backed into door 111 then went to check in. The dumb bitch in the receiving office tells me to pull out and wait on my assigned door. Its now 4:55am and Im still waiting! There are yard mules all over the place doing nothing! They want me here on time but have NO consideration for other customers that also want me to arrive on time. Update... finally got in the door at 5:20am. Update... 9am still not unloaded. I repeat, "THIS PLACE SUCKS!" Update...10:20am...... EMPTY!!

There is a stench of rotting pigs at the guard shack caring high points. U better have your paperwork ready when you approach the guard shack and you better not be black cuz that crank inside will shoot back!!! Good price on lumping. Once you get past the neo nazi cop wannabes... your standard run off the assembly line warehouse. Not a good place to unload. 3 hours for 2 skids of ice cream.

I am unloading and the wait time needs to improve. I just unloaded the same amount of pallets at Costco in Dallas....and they do pretty much the same volume, if not more. 4x as longer here at Brookshire to get uploaded. UNSAT! Brookshire is simply a poorly managed and poorly supervised DC. Perhaps you should have your Mgmt tour the Costco facility to help you find ways to improve efficiency.

Arrived and assigned door at 330am...just to find out...they already had a trailer dropped in that door. Wouldnt Assign any other available doors( there were at least a dozen available), been waiting for hour and half just to back in my door..some appointment honor system here..

I absolutely hate the fact that Brookshires on Line Ave. No longer has the Sugarbuster Chicken Salad...This salad is Superb.Every time I go there people are asking about it. I ask the question: Who gets rid of a product that Works? Shreveport LA needs this salad back asap....

This is by far the worst places to get unloaded. Hiring a lumper is a joke. If i was offered to unload a trailer for $260 that truck wouldve been unloaded with the hour. But im pretty sure the company they with take they cut. Never want to come here again.

Unloading sucks, really expensive lumper service and slow. Doors 1-40, there to damn dumb to not drop trailers directly in the way in front of the dock doors. Makes it a real pain getting backed in. On the plus side at least there fairly polite.

I was ready for the worst comming here. Got here at 330 in dock by 4 and unloaded by 530. $400 lumper fee. Very friendly security and lumper workers. Dont know why I had such a good experience.

Awful place to deliver, to begin with if you arrive between 0830 and 0900 they are on break time then lumper sh...t and wait all day to unload

Very slow to unload trucks. No staging area, they want you out as soon as you unload. Theres no where to park close by either.

Some of the slowest lumper service in the trucking industry. 6.5 hrs to get unloaded. And their check in procedures are aweful
