I purchased sirloin steak opened it to portion it for my restaurant. The moment I opened I could tell it was bad; I refused to serve the product to my customers. The next morning I called and spoke with Joe, he gave me the 3rd degree because I inquired about a return. An hour later I walked in explained this to an employee and that I did not have my receipt as I had given it to my bookkeeper. The meat was still in its original package and he could tell it was bad. (Exp. date was another 3 weeks) He recognized me and said it would be alright to exchange. While I was in the walk-in looking at some other meat I thought about purchasing Joe the jerk walks in and tells me that I could only exchange out sirloin for sirloin (duh) He was extremely rude and out of line for the way he spoke to me. I told him to keep his meat, inspect it, check the tag so that he doesn’t continue to sell bad products. I walked out. I spend hundreds of dollars there every week and thanks to JOE-no more.

I shop here mainly for their food service gloves. Store is definitely a nice alternative to Costco. And if you shopped at Smart&Final before, youll notice that this and S&F are the same, only C&C carries a better and wider range of meat selections among other food products. C&C is definitely a store to consider when you have your next big feast or just want to buy in bulk. Parking spaces are somewhat limited, and checking out can be slow, but its not too bad either.

Intended primarily to supply restaurants that got shorted by theor vendors on their orders for the week, this place is a fantastic little secret if youre NOT a restaurant but you find yourself in need of bulk amounts anyway: great variety, maybe 5-7% above wholesale pricing, friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Love this place! Its excellent to get bulk foods for a big family or a party. Friendly staff, friendly prices. Definitely recommend. However i got a bag of potatoes there last week & it got REALLY stinky and disgusting within a few days i had to throw the whole bag out...

Fast as you can get the cash out of your purse or wallet. I am in and out with cash in minutes. Never ever do they harrass me about never paying attention to paying it back(sorry)

Truly a great staff that works well together and more efficiently to keep costs down. Store is kinda like a Costco, in which you buy in bulk. There isnt a membership fee.
