I stopped at this Krogers location on the way home from the Highlands shopping center and was more than a little surprised to see that the floors were in a total state of disarray. This site is usually the best maintained store in the Ohio Valley, which means a lot to me because I believe it says a great deal about the care that goes into everything else in the store, or restaurant, or whatever kind of establishment I happen to be in at any given time. To make matters worse, I was becoming steadily more frustrated at not being able to find the Hersheys dark chocolate syrup my wife had been craving all morning. Then, seemingly out of the blue, I was approached by a very amicable young lady named "Beeje." She was dressed in business casual so I assume she was management, which made the following series of events even more satisfying. She asked if I needed help finding something, and her willingness to be of assistance was even more apparent in her antsy demeanor. So not wanting "Beeje" to go supernova with enthusiasm before my better half ended up getting her chocofix, I told her of my situation. Appearing a little unsure at first, once she got her bearings, it took her less than a minute to return with the wonderfully sinful concoction. Now, if youve never seen someone running in heels with a smile on their face, Im here to tell you. Entertained is the least telling word I could summon to describe my state of mind at that point in time. A complete 180 from how Id felt only moments earlier. Finally, as if all this werent enough already, she found me the least busy checkout in the store and wished me a fantastic afternoon. Hands down, the best shopping experience Ive ever had. Now, in my estimation, their prices average approximately five percent higher than your typical Walmart food center, but they are pro union and it shows in the attitudes of the employees. Definitely, give this particular Krogers location some business. I would be amazed if the problem they are having with the floors isnt fixed within two days, maybe less.

This Krogers has been declining in many areas. They are the absolute WORSE when it comes to having items in stock! Every time I shop there, no matter the day or time, I always experience an issue with even the most basic grocery items being in stock. From milk, bread, yogurt, soda, and most the items on their advertised sale ad are completely gone from the shelf. I would ask staff to go in the back and grab what they have and they will say they are out ... but from time to time I find myself going into the cooler myself to find that I have been lied to and they indeed did have it in stock but are either too lazy to stock it or they are understaffed. I have also been noticing that I have to closely watch when my items are scanned at check out because they do not properly have the sale prices or clearance prices recorded in the system. There have been times, at least twice a month now, where I would have to make an extra trip back to Krogers to get reimbursed for being overcharged on items. Or I have to waste time at the check-out to point out to the cashiers which items are ringing up wrong and I have to even remind them that it is advertised in their current ad. And lastly, someone needs to teach the employees how to properly bag groceries. They over stuff bags with heavy items which rip through the bags and cans or jars burst on the parking lot outside, or they mix chemical cleaners with foods, mix frozen items with boxed foods which cause the cardboard to get wet and soggy ... ugh come on ... I bag my groceries for now on ... or I just travel to Ohio and shop at Aldis ... get your stuff together Krogers ...

Shopping in this Kroger is a very disappointing experience to say the least. Almost every time I go they are almost completely out of the most basic of items. Things like bread, water (both bottled water and regular jugs/gallons of water), fruit, etc. Like seriously, how can you not have something as basic as WATER??? Id hate to see what this store would look like if a hurricane was approaching, since they already cant keep basic items in stock. Then even if you do manage to find what food items you need, good luck checking out. Theres never any actual registers open, and their self-scan registers are TERRIBLE. I personally have never been able to successfully check out all of my groceries without an error popping up. Same for every time Ive been there, everyone else around me always has errors appearing on their machines too. Is it that hard to install some self-scan machines that actually work? And I almost forgot, most of the time theres never any carts to use when you first walk in the store ... so hopefully youre not getting more than two things.

The click list is a Great way to save time.I used it on Saturday,and the convience was amazing....I just started out with a little grocery list to see how it worked,and it went pretty good...1st the girl brought me the wrong order,but I was OK with that,they will have these little kinks at 1st.i was just about ready to STOP going to krogers bc they never had anyone available to bag your groceries.I feel if Im coming to your store weekly and spending my hard earned money,The very least you could do is have someone bag my groceries.However,now with Online shopping this will help me not to get so aggravated when I know I have to grocery shop.I will be using the Online Shopping Again

"DEFINITELY A MUST TO GO FOR SUSHI" This store has the best sushi bar Iv ever had. I ordered party platter for my Thanksgiving party. Frined of mind, Japanese, he said definitely this is the best one, while he travels a lot. The fish is always fresh, the service is excellent, the presentation is outstanding as well. Chefs are very professional and patient. Their samples are delicious:). Thank you Kroger and thank you very much Chefs for their above and beyond food and service.

Its probably not any fault of the store managers, however, the info on Google map shows it being open 24 hours per day...NOT THE CORRECT INFO...pulled up at 5:40 to find closed gas pumps and closed store too...local guy out side told me they are only open from like 6am-midnight...

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Kroger has a great selection of organic foods. The produce section contains fresh fruit and vegetables. Prices are fair and fuel points are a great way to save on gas!

Love this kroger! Very clean. I only had one problem returning a large stuffed animal. Other than that its my first choice grocery store.
