Scott Youman was our sales person. Ill start by saying this: I know lots of dealerships have super high rates and sparkling reviews (Ive read tons), and let me tell you, lots of those are all fluff and little substance. I worked as a chat agent and assisted hundreds of dealerships across the US and Canada with sales on their online chats, and I saw a lot of problems that get washed out by all those perfect reviews. I can only imagine that some portion of them are fake. With that being said, I will explain why Im giving this dealership a sparkling review. First off, the sales staff dont make commission, so the pressure is off. Scott is down to earth and scrubbed Nissan for discounts. My boyfriend works at Honeywell, so he found that partnership discount and applied it to our price. For some reason all of the other dealerships I spoke with didnt mention that discount (Im thinking they didnt look). Scotts humble and dedicated attitude to help us caught our attention. We bought a new 2017 Nissan Rogue S with the Appearance Package for $24,200 out the door with financing. Our second best price was $25,150 at Morries. The other places we looked at were: Luther Nissan, Wayzata Nissan, Morries Nissan, Eden Prairie Nissan, Walser Nissan, and Kline Nissan. So if youre looking at any of them too, you can stop and go to Coon Rapids for a quote over email. I hear that the owner of Coon Rapids is buying out Wayzata, but as of June 2017, they gave us the highest quote at almost $29k for the same car. And they asked us to come in every time we wanted to have them beat a price. Unfortunately we dont have time to entertain them like that, so Coon Rapids won our patronage. It also was cool that Scott has great taste in music. =)

I bought my Nissan Sentra a week ago, this is my second from coon Rapids Nissan! I have been to other dealerships in my life, and I can honestly say I do not feel like a dollar sign here. I felt welcome, and like I am among family and friends. I have never felt nervous or pressured here. All the people who work here make it feel like a comfortable and caring environment. I was so lucky to have Wade Gilbertson, AGAIN help me get my second car from CR Nissan. Hes is Not the stereotypical car salesman! No creepiness, pressure,dishonesty, pushyness, or games with him! He is extremely knowledgeable of Nissan vehicles; answered any and all of my questions with ease and confidence, cleared up any confusion on my end (wrap insurance, how the Sentra is different then the Versa). Listened to everything I needed, and my price range, and delivered! Before I drove off the lot he explained/showed me how everything in/on my new car works, car is a HUGE step above my old car. The process from start to finish took a little over 5 hours, and the entire time he was honest, patient, and communicated ( no sitting around alone wondering) everything that was going on with the process. Andrew in financing was wonderful as well, he did a spectacular job at keeping me in my targeted payment range and also explained everything to me! During the waiting period Wade held conversation with me, which really helped settle the stress. I was treated like a friend, not just a paycheck. That is why I will be going back to Nissan when the time comes for another car, and I will be refering others too!!

I called Coon Rapids Nissan and spoke with Rob Hermann about needing to get out of a Jeep lease early due to the payments being too high and was worried I wouldnt be able to. Rob assured me they would work with me and find a vehicle that I would love. I drove to the dealership on Tuesday Night and Rob warmly greeted me at the door and told me he had a vehicle pulled up washed and ready to show me. It was a 15 Nissan Rogue with some pretty sweet options that I knew instantly my wife would like. Rob did a thorough explanation of everything on the vehicle even showing me the simple things like putting gas in the car. After the test drive I knew it had to be mine. Rob walked me through the paperwork process and trade in paperwork until it was time to see Matt in finance. Normally this is the part I dread but Matt was warm, and pleasant to deal with and made me feel appreciated for my business and didnt try and sell me stuff I didnt need. Once I got done with Matt and signing for my car Rob had already detailed and cleaned the car. He even helped me transfer my things to the new car and once again went through how to use the car so I didnt get confused with things. Then Rob told me I get 6 free oil changes now with them as a customer!! Double bonus and score!! This was one of the best times I ever had buying a car and I already am planning on another one with Rob Hermann real soon. If you want to feel valued and not just another customer go and see them, its worth the trip there and they have now made me a customer for life!! Thanks again Rob and Coon Rapids Nissan

bought a brand NEW altima SL. And from the first month had problems with it. I bought th e car because i needed a reliable car and this was my first brand new car ever. Once i got the car the windshield get a broken from a rock the first week. and i bought the extra windshield crap that was supposed to PREVENT that exact thing from happening...well it didnt. so DONT buy that it doesnt work. they had to replace the entire windshield. then the recalls started coming in. then rust started forming on the front of the car...and they told me AFTER i came in that they needed to replace the back hood because it would happen there as well because Nissan didnt protect the back hood. And no one told me when i was in there the other times, and they knew about it but never told me...so when was i going to find that out?!?! all in all i was in the dealership 10+ times in 18 months. On average every other month i was in there for something wrong with the car or a recall. After complaining about it the last time because i had to pay a $100 to get something that was not working the first 3 months i had enough. I would not go back to this dealership because once you buy...you are screwed. They told me to call nissan directly...i bought it from them and now i want to get out of the car and it will cost me more money to trade it in. Never again will i buy from this company.

With winter approaching soon, I knew it was time for me to get a new vehicle. I had seen a BEAUTIFUL 2014 Cadillac ATS online for this dealership and figured Id call and see if it was still available. And, Boy Am I glad I did! I spoke with Josh (Miller) and told him my situation and the car I was interested. He made sure that the vehicle was still there and was helpful with setting up a test drive. I knew I had been pre-approved with Capital One, but after speaking to Josh (Miller) briefly he made me feel confident enough to just fill out an application on the dealerships website. He informed me the next day that I was FULLY FINANCED with $0 down. I went to test drive it, and Josh was knowledgeable about my car and answered any questions I had. The whole process was quick and you didnt feel rushed. They didnt pressure me to buy something I didnt want, they werent trying up-sale simply for their pockets, they genuinely care and you can tell just by how they approach you and your situation. Also, Jake (the finance guy) is an awesome individual as well. He made the whole loan process a breeze and I actually had fun signing my paperwork. He was super informative, all while having a wonderful sense of humor. I promise I will be returning for my next vehicle. No doubt, this dealership deserves more than 5 stars.
