They "advertised" a trade in bonus and when asked what this trade in bonus entailed I was told, it was just top dollar for a trade in vehicle. They also said that an outside company comes and does the graphics and it really doesnt co-exist with specials. A customer (who one of the finance people know) was selling purses to other customers that were waiting. During my meeting with the GM of the facility, it was said that he was getting work done on his car and this was just being stored there until the work was completed. I am not sure why it just couldnt stay in the trunk...2 customers were persuaded into buying fake purses. The tire pressure of the vehicle when I left was at 55 psi. I brought it back in and I was told to schedule and appointment. With very little concern of the safety issues at hand. Finally, my worst experience in this entire event was with the service department. They car I had bought was used and I noticed that some vibration was occurring in the gas pedal. It took the dealership, 10 days to investigate, align the vehicle and replace a strut. I had to BEG for a service vehicle to use during this time, they completely lacked at communicating with me as a customer on the status of the vehicle and the vibration was never fixed. They clearly falsely advertise, have unacceptable business practices and little care of concern for you as a customer after you sign the documents. I did send a letter to the dealership explaining my issues and I was asked to come in. At the meeting they explained that they knew they have problems for a very long time and they are working on fixing it (i am not sure how long it takes to fix these problems). He indicated that many signs were put up in the lobby if you are waiting more than 15 minutes let a receptionist know (one 3x5 sign, orange and not noticeable). They really didnt do anything to fix the issue and I would NEVER suggest anyone purchase a vehicle or especially bring one in for service EVER to this location. It was a nightmare.

Coon Rapids Chrysler saved the day!! After just finishing with a huge debacle with another dealership, and as a result not getting our car from them, I turned to CR Chrysler. On a Thursday afternoon, on a whim, I opened a chat window on my computer, and was greeted by a very nice saleslady by the name of Carolyn Hagen. I explained my situation, and what I was looking for in our vehicle, and she right away took my contact info and headed out to look. Just a few minutes later, I received an email that she had found just the car we were looking for, but that it needed to be brought in from another dealership. She sent me a .pdf of the window sticker, and it had everything we wanted. By Friday afternoon I had a deposit in for them to transport the car in, and by Saturday, the car was at the lot. Carolyn was in constant communication with me via texts and email, and I knew she genuinely cared that we get the car we wanted. When we arrived Saturday afternoon at the dealership, we were greeted by a salesman, and led to Carolyn’s desk. Carolyn was happy and smiling, and led us to our vehicle to test drive. The drive went excellent! We were able to make the deal, close the deal, and leave the lot with our new car! Carolyn made sure that we were comfortable. Everything was explained to us thoroughly, and we got our dream car! Carolyn went above and beyond our expectation of what a salesperson should be. Each step of the transaction went smoothly. She answered every question I asked promptly, and was very understanding. From the first chat, to the emails and texts, to pics of the car once it arrived, to the test drive, and the closing of the deal, she was there! She did an awesome job, and is a wonderful person! She’s great at what she does, and I think it was such a breath of fresh air, that she actually cared about us and our needs! Thank you so much for everything, Carolyn! By the way, I’ve never hugged my salesperson before, but I couldn’t help but hug you! Thanks for being there :)

I went to this dealer around the time they were having their supposedly "big event" which was around the beginning of July... I went there because they advertised that they were buying used vehicles. I brought my car in to attempt to get a quote from them. When I got there one of the salesman assisted me with getting my vehicle info and then after a few minutes of waiting around he came back and said that the used car salesman was not in and would return in a half hour... (i asked myself why wouldnt there be a used car manager around in a so called "big event", did they not know people were probably going to bring their used cars in for appraisal?) I decided to wait for the used car manager since I wasnt in a rush. About 40mins passed and i finally got tired of waiting and asked a salesman if the used car manager had arrived. He told me he would go check and sure enough he was available... (obviously they had forgotten i was waiting in the lobby in plain sight) The used car manager came up to me and introduced himself ( same guy that was chit chatting with the other salesman for about 15mins keeping me waiting...) and then stated if i was looking to trade in the vehicle. I said that i was not and was looking instead for an appraisal and that i had seen a sign outside that they were buying used cars. He told me that at the moment he wasnt buying my particular make and model... (i thought to myself, wouldnt you think that the other salesman would be informed of what makes and models the dealer was not interested in? not to mention that the car that i was trying to trade in was one that i actually bought there 2 years ago...) In conclusion, they had horrible customer service and i would think twice before buying there. It felt like the only reason they did not want to quote/buy my car was because i wasnt interested in another one of theirs... false advertising! I would never recommend this dealer to anyone.

Before I purchased my Ram 1500 Crew Cab from Coon Rapids Chrysler, I searched many dealers and many different makes of trucks for nearly 3 months. I test drove dozens of trucks. There were several that I loved, but I couldnt get any sort of deal on them. I was originally in the market for Ford F150s, but the lower prices on Rams changed my mind. Before I even talked to anyone from Coon Rapids I already had a trucked picked out at another dealership for a decent price with an okay price on my trade in. The other dealership needed me to fill out an online vehicle request form through USAA to get a control number to get an additional $1000 off of the truck I wanted. USAA forwarded my request to several different dealers including Coon Rapids Chrysler. I was contacted by the internet sales manager, Greg Richter, soon after the form was filled out and he had several vehicles which were comparable to the truck I wanted from the other dealership. I told Greg about the deal I was getting with the other dealership and which vehicle it was. Greg told me he could probably get me a better trade difference price and would just need me to bring my truck in for appraisal. I brought my truck in and 20 minutes later Greg from Coon Rapids Chrysler had a better trade difference price than the other dealership and the financing was 2% lower!!! In the end I saved nearly $1500 because of Greg and Coon Rapids Chrysler!!! I even gave the other dealership a chance to counter offer and the best they could do is offer me their vehicle for $100 more than the deal I got at Coon Rapids. If you like Dodge products I would definitely suggest Coon Rapids Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. If you are just starting your search for a new vehicle it might not start out at Coon Rapids Chrysler, but it will end there.
