So before going to Sun and Ski in Frisco I was quite the bike shop snob. I only went to cycling specific shops, and wouldnt have it any other way. Well after my first visit to the bike shop at Sun and Ski Frisco I was pleasantly surprised! This place was great. I couldnt disagree with the previous post more in regards to the staff and products. From what I can tell, the previous review was made during the first few weeks of opening. After working in retail, I know that it takes new shops and stores a few weeks or months even to get settled in. In regards to the product selection, (specifically bikes) its not huge (compared to mega bike shops), but is definitely quality. Ive been racing bikes for 6+ years and would race any of their bikes in a CAT1 race anytime. In regards to the staff, I was blown away. Every person I came in contact with was more than willing to help me and answer any questions I had. The guys back in the bike shop were awesome. I ended up purchasing a bike there and have been 100% happy with the bike. I bought the protection plan with the bike and it was the best $$$ Ive spent there. Ive taken it in twice for normal maintenance and they immediately get to work checking the bike over. If youre looking for a bike shop that will give you individual attention and not the same mumbo jumbo "other" bikes shop give you, go hit up Sun and Ski Frisco. You wont regret it.

Worst customer service. While on the way to check out one of the boys who worked their almost ran me over bc he was too busy trying to teach one of the girls who worked their how to ride an electric skate board. Btw....I have a broken foot and I am in a boot. Whatever I ignored it. So I figured once he saw us heading to check out he would stop and come check us out....nope. He continued on flirting with his co-worker. Ok, fine...there was another associate behind the desk who could check us out. That associate looked at us then walked away. My husband and I ended up standing their for 10 minutes waiting to be checked out. If it wasnt for a certain jacket that my husband wanted we would have gone somewhere else. I will no longer shop here and give them my business.

I recently brought my board into the new Sun and Ski in Frisco for a tune up and base grind, and I am very pleased with the work done. I have had some moderate base scratches since a snowcat tour several years ago. Last year I took the board to Doug & Lindas for the same work. When I received my board back the base was still very nicked up. I assumed that that was just as good as it would get and I would have to live with it. When I visted Sun & Ski this year the tech recommended that I get a grind to give me a pristine new base. I skeptically agreed. When I picked up my board the base looked brand new. The wax job was also very fast. A+ service.

Ive bought bikes from Sun and Ski and Ive bought bikes from other shops. No matter where I get the bike from the fact is that I always take my ride to Sun and Ski to get it serviced and/or upgraded. The service is always good and informative. The price is always better than most places. The turn around time on service is the fastest I have ever seen anywhere. If something doesnt go the way I think its supposed to they always just say "Bring it back in.". They make things right.

A big THANK YOU to Ryan (Store Manager) and Brittain (Handsgood Mgr). I chose a newer type of ski boot called Apex and Ryan spent the time answering all the questions and concerns I had. He could have easily steered me to a more expensive boot, but he worked within my range. Brittain spent his time making sure the boot fit correctly and more importantly I was comfortable with the fit and understood the mechanics of the boot. Thanks again for the guidance and assistance!

We bought two mountain bikes here and have had a great experience with the customer service. We recently had an issue with the front brakes on one of the bikes and they made an exceptional effort to get at least ready to ride for the day. They put a temporary system on the front and ordered the right part. This special effort they made allowed us to get out on the trails that same day. Great job here and I highly recommend Sun & Ski in Frisco.

I really cant say enough good things about this store and its staff. Brought one of my Mavic mountain bike wheels in with a broken spoke. The manager, Ryan, not only replaced the spoke but he went the next step to contact Mavic about the hub. Turns out the hub had a faulty design and needed to be replaced. Sun and Ski saved me some serious money! Thank you Ryan for going the extra mile and taking great care of me!

Worst customer service... Went to pick up online order and they couldnt find and had to wait and wait... A person doesnt even look for my order and talking with other staffs, looking at phone and joke about my order like "no one wants this products thats why cannot find?"... I just returned and its nothing to do with products just didnt like their customer service. I will never buy anything from Sun & Ski.

Go to this store if you want to see what it is like to be invisible. Stood at the front counter for 15 or more minutes while 6 people up front rang up customers and completely ignored me. In between ringing up customers, they were texting on their cell phones. Why is it so hard to try to get help to look at ski goggles that cost $250+. Completely wasted my time. Dont waste yours.

These guys helped me all of the way through my first triathlon...even though I only bought the bike from them. Theyre always there with helpful advice, and the return/exchange policy is the same as Nordstroms. They also have great annual bike sales on last years model if you dont care about the model year of your bike.

Seem to have a good quantity of selection compared to the store size. Can only speak poorly to customer service though. Visited with intent to purchase two bikes today but could not seem to get any service. Our presence was known as everyone enjoyed petting the dog as we looked at product for 25 minutes.

Great service! Did additional work on my sons bike and didnt charge me for the parts nor the labor. We went to get his chain fixed and he needed new handle bars and new peddles and they replaced all at no charge.

Good selection and lower prices than competitors like Dicks or Academy. They always seem to only have a few people working every time Im in there, so getting assistance if you need it can sometimes be difficult.
