Ive been to this store many times, and this was the one time that I had a bad experience, unfortunately it was due to my interaction with the STORE MANAGER. I stood in line at Starbucks trying to decide what to drink (Im a Safeway Starbucks ASM and unfortunately know too many great combos and can never make up my mind) so I let a few customers go ahead of me in line. I even help explain to the barista working about a beverage a customer wanted. I had my Pomeranian puppy with me and she was in my jacket with just her head poking out. The manager walked by me, than came back over to me and asked me to take the dog outside the store. His direct words "There is food and stuff in here and we cant have a dog in here unless its a service dog." Now I understand this, I WORK for safeway so i understand the strict policies to protect their business and customers, but the fact that I hadnt been asked by any other employee to remove the dog and that I bring the dog into MY safeway with no issue, makes me feel like there should have been some leniancy with how promptly he expected me to leave.I asked if I could get my coffee and than leave and he told me I needed to take the dog out immediately. He didnt let me order (though if I hadnt let those other customers in front of me I wouldve already had my coffee), and didnt even ask me if I had already ordered in case he was kicking me out before I could even get my coffee. I just thought the customer service from the SAFEWAY STORE MANAGER could have been a little bit more understanding or at least kind or polite.

This is one of the busiest, if not the busiest Safeway in the state. Shopped here for years because its the closest grocery store. The employees have always been friendly and theres even an employee there who imitates all manner of tweety birds to help calm fussy kids (it works pretty dang well). The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is that they REALLY need to add on to the store and make it bigger. As more people move to the area, most anytime you are there you have to be a grocery cart stunt driver to even move through the stores aisles - I think most the local people have become quite adept at it. They also need more checkout lines, you should typically expect at least a 10-15 minute wait in line once youve finished gathering your provisions if you have more than just a few items.

The only grocery store in town! So if you like big crowds, long lines, running into people you dont want to see and never being able to find the stuff thats "on sale" (because that stuffs never in stock) then this is the store for you! Oh and you get to pay more for gas than everywhere else too since it is in Molalla so enjoy! I did give them 2 stars instead of 1 because not all of the employees suck.

Everyone who works at the Molalla Safeway is SUPER friendly. They carry just about everything including a very concise selection of Organics brand groceries and organic produce. These are Items which my health conscious family is glad to have access to. If it was not for this great store, I would have to cruise to Oregon City much more often.

This Safeway is good overall; however, the prices are a little spendy. It has good variety of food assortments. I enjoy their food court, their sandwiches were excellent. However, their Chinese food lacked flavor! The only other problem is that the cell service in the building is terrible!

This store has never asked for my ID before, but the one time I dont have my ID, they decide to card me! Staff is often rude, prices are high. Pharmacy is unhelpful, hardly any gluten free or dairy free products available. Drive to Oregon City to give your business to Fred Meyer!

Your website said Christmas Eve the store would close at 9pm. Therefore we planned to finish our shopping that evening after work. However, we arrived at the store at about 7:15 to find the doors locked right. We saw about 30 other cars come and go, disappointed as well.

Bathrooms are generally always disgusting, fruit has been rotten on several occasions, and over all organization is terrible. Why the heck is toilet paper put in the frozen food section??!! Its so hard to find anything, cause nothing is where you would expect it to be.

Waiting in line here is a joke. Things used to be so fast, but ever since they took out the self check out. It takes a half hour of just waiting In line. Even if you just came in for a few things. Ill take my business els were.

Self checkout was taken out. I waited 20 minutes for 3 items! They are the only store in this town and never have anything in stock. Their shelves are constantly empty. Their pharmacy is slow AF. I go to Safeway in Canby now.

a supermarket full of food products and no real food except for produce, everything is chemically laden, GMO food products. i literally couldnt find anything that i could eat in the entire store.
