I came in to get a book on chicken keeping and the staff was so friendly. The prices were totally reasonable too, so Ill definitely be back when Ive studied up and am ready to bring on some little peeps. Just a heads up, if you found out about this place from the book Walking Portland, theyve moved from the spot the guide says and are a little closer to downtown now. Good thing you checked Google Maps first ;)

I had been in once before, prior to owning chickens. Went in today to check it out again and pick up some feed. I was very impressed. This is the only place, again i say thee only place, on this side of town that sells Buxton Feed (amazing non GMO feed with ingredients you can read). The guys were very knowledgeable about where the feed they sell comes from and you can tell they care. Ill be back for sure.

They moved closer to my home and now are placed in this warehouse with big hoppers, its really cool! This is the only place I shop now for my chicks, naomis is just to far away for me and the store feels squished but with urbans new place I can walk around because theirs plenty of space, cant wait till they get their order of chicks!

My partner and I went to the Urban Farm Store after moving from Florida to Portland. The person working helped us by telling us a little bit about gardening in the area and recommending a book to tell us the rest. He even gave us some starter tomato plants free of charge. Great place to shop and a 5% discount if you come by bike.

Love Urban Farm Store. Staff are helpful and friendly. They have three wonderful kitties. They do a good job on answering questions. I got my 3 ducks their and ever since then I have been a customer. I truly believe Urban Farm is the best store. I have visited Lint and seed and Naomis and havent gotten the same friendly vive.

Absolutely charming store with everything I need for my chickens and plenty of great things for my garden. The springtime chicks, the coop in the back, the cats lounging about and the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (and customers!) make a trip here more of a treat than a chore.

Purchased my chicks here, and the supplies. Prices were fair and affordable. Staff was very helpful, Ive worked with the same cashier every time, and hes knowledgeable and not pushy. Regularly purchase chips and non-gmo organic feed! Excited to visit the new location closer to me!

Urban Farm Stores new location is spacious, clean, and very accessible. Weve purchased chicks twice from them--I appreciate the variety of breeds, and knowledgeable staff who select individual chicks carefully and offer excellent advice for care. We wouldnt go anywhere else!

Drove from Gladstone to the Urban Farm Store only to find NO PARKING. Drove around longer than it than it took me to get there and nothing. Complete waste of my time. I not be going back anytime soon.
