[read this fully avoid my experience] This has to be the worst retail store in New York! I went into slip shot operation and wandered around wanting to buy a car stereo; I wandered around asking to BUY! A car stereo and got blown off! Finally a sale man took noticed and I said "I want to BUY! this car stereo" "Pointed at the unit I wanted to buy". Then I ask him about PC Richards publically advertised "Free installation" ... He told and I quote "Man I dont know about that "Installing the stereo" maybe this day maybe a week from now, I cant tell you" All I can do is sell you the car stereo but I cannot guarantee installation date.. So I ask him "Does P.C. Richard advertise installation?" he said yeah but shrugged his shoulder and said "Like I said all I can do is sell it to you" I asked to speak to the store manager ...Sale man points to the store manager ... who quickly tried to duck me and told the sale man and in directly me "I am busy!" So I approach the Store manager and asked him "I thought P.C. Richards guarantee installation" The manager said with a defensive posture "We dont guarantee when it will get installed" I was shocked and nervous ... I left the store ... I am going straight to Best Buy and spend the extra 40-50 bucks and even an installation fee if necessary. Avoid this store like the plague!

The customer services is excellent ! I went in for a washer and dryer however was not sure on which model to buy. Branny was very helpful, he is very knowledgeable, he knows the products and has the patience to compare the individual features helping me make an informed decision. The entire staff is very friendly, Jamiyl was great reviewing the benefits of getting a PC Richards card and opening an account for me. Even though I went almost at closing time the staff was very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure I took my time and was happy with the washer / dryer I selected. I will definitely recommend this store to my friends and family ! The delivery was smooth, the night before received a call with a 3 hours window and the driver called 45 minutes before arriving, the guys were careful not scratch the walls and took the old appliances with them.Great prices and superior customer service !!

I recently bought a Samsung refrigerator at the P.C. Richard & Son store in Elmont, NY. That day, while I was on the floor looking at different brands and compare prices online, I was greeted by Mr Ledan in an attentive way. I told him that I was in the market for a refrigerator without any particular brand in mind. Mr Ledan spent some times explaining to me about the benefits and features of each brand they carry at the store. After careful consideration, I decided to purchase a Samsung unit at a much lower price than was offered at two different competitors. Needless to say, what a great experience that was! I was very pleased with the purchase! Much obliged to Mr Ledan for his assistance and forbearance! For anyone whos in the market to buy Electronics or Appliances looking for a nonpareil knowledgeable staff and customer satisfaction, I highly recommend the P.C. Richards Store in Elmont, NY.

I needed to replace two large air conditioners, and was feeling extremely anxious and overwhelmed because I know nothing about electronics, home appliances, etc. John Mancuso was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and reassuring. After asking me to text him photos of the old units and wall sockets and listening to me explain the layout of my condo, he helped me select two new air conditioners that are much better suited to my space than what I had previously. He also followed up with me after delivery to make sure the units were in place and working well. I opted for a 10 year service warranty at an incredible value so I dont have to worry for additional peace of mind. I cant imagine how this experience could have been any easier or more positive, and I am already referring everyone I know to John for all their appliance needs. Everything that I use in my home was purchased at PC Richards. I have been a customer at the Linden Blvd., Elmont branch all of my life. It is a convenience for me to run to PC Richards if repairs are needed. I feel safe there! I have seized the opportunity to take extended warranty and have benefited greatly from it in the past; (as recommended by the sales person.) It was such a pleasure to have met the manager, Joe Lombardi, as I was shopping one day. He was walking out the door when I stopped him and shook his hand. Though, he was very busy he took the time to talk to me. A very friendly man indeed; I must say. He is a man of character, integrity and of great understanding. It is a pleasure to belong to such as establishment and especially one who is headed by Joe Lombardi. I will confidently give them a five star.

If I had an option of zero Starz believe you me I wouldnt have given them any. I made a purchase of a refrigerator and b4 making payment i asked the sales man about the return policy on a refrigerator I purchased, he said 30 day in the same form of payment as long as its not being used. The refrigerator was delivered and it was a used refridgerator so i called to return the refrigerator and the very same sales man said he never told me that. He lied to me, all he cared about was making the sales to get that commission. Whn I asked to speak to the manager he did absolutely nothing about it he actually took the side of the worker. He didnt even consider his worker wrongly informing me instead he just said we dont take back refrigerators. Am never ever shopping with pc richards and sons ever again.

we bought a washer dryer at the elmont location as the price for the same models were much cheaper than sears. We were told it came with a dryer rack we saw it with a dryer rack at sears. when it was delivered it did not come with a dryer rack and now my wife and myself are basically being told the salesman never said that it came with it he even showed us on the computer screen that it did. I am still waiting for the salesman to call me back with the model# of a comparable dryer rack its a round hole how hard can it be? what are the chances of this guy calling me back ? slim to none hese too busy telling someone else anything they want to hear to make a sale, well whoopdydoo the part that didnt exist is being shipped to the store and there is no charge. I guess i am not a liar

Ive been to this location a number of times ; and every purchase has been a pleasurable experience. The staff is very courtesy and professional. Today I had to return a toaster oven I purchased in July as a house warming gift. The glass had popped out and broke on the kitchen floor. But the box had been thrown away and they called me to ask me what should they do. I called and spoke with Clarel Ledan and he told me to bring in the damaged goods. When I arrived Carson Reid met me at the door and offered assistants. I asked for Mr. Ledan who presented himself and I gave him my receipt while Mr. Reid proceeded to look at the toaster oven. They agreed to replace my purchase and I was able to present my gift again. Thanks a million !
