Wow. Shockingly rude over the phone. Ive been to their store four times in the last two years- and although its always dirty and dark/not inviting, Ive gone to them because their prices for laptop replacement batteries are cheaper than Best Buy. I will never set foot in their store again- even if I have to pay more. I sincerely hope they go out of business. For anyone who cares or wants to read an emotional yet honest rant, continue reading: I called, was quickly commanded to "please hold" in a stern voice- which I dont mind, since I know stores can get busy. After 6 minutes of continual ringing, I finally hung up/gave up, assuming they had forgotten about me. I called back immediately and the same person answered the phone. I said, "Hey, you forgot you had me on hold- this is the same person that called 6 minutes ago". After a few long seconds of a pause, the employee says, "Yea..oh well, sorry, how can we help you?" in a completely apathetic and slightly sarcastic tone of voice, speaking very quickly. I then asked that in the future, if he could not forget about customers that he put on hold for 6 minutes, then that would help. He then retorted in an annoyed voice that they had 5 customers in the store and each one took 2-3 minutes each, and that they all arrived before I had called and so he had to help them all first and now that they were gone he would help me. I then replied that if that were true then it would have been 10-12 minutes on hold, and that I was only on hold for 6 minutes. So I pointed out that he was lying- and reminded him that 30 seconds before hand he had admitted to forgetting about putting me on hold. I also pointed out that even if that were true, he could have had the decency to say, "were swamped, its gonna be over 10 minutes of being on hold; you can wait or call back later" as time is very precious to me and is something a person can never "get back" as it were. He then started yelling at me and threatened to hang up "if we dont move on to whatever battery question you have, otherwise Im going to hang up". I then said, "Learn how to do customer service- learn not to forget people you put on hold, and learn to fix a mistake instead of being rude and making up false excuses. You will not be getting my business" and hung up. Just incredible. So sad people dont have common decency nowadays.

I went in to buy a couple of batteries for my car key. I had to go in again because the battery I had purchased there 6 months prior had already died. I gave her my car key and told her that I also wanted to purchase a couple of extra batteries to save me a trip in the future. The location is very undesirable so I didnt want to have to go back any time soon. She quickly popped open my key inserted a new battery and offered me two others. As she handed me my keys she said, "So thats $6 for the install and the new batteries are about $2 each." Holy cow! You just charged me 3 times the cost of my battery to install a battery I dint ask you to install. She was able to install it before I even noticed she started. Thats how easy it was. I am not one to review companies but the service was so shockingly terrible that I had to pass this on to others. DO NOT GO TO BATTERIES PLUS. I have purchased several batteries from car batteries, batteries for my scooter, and a typical home use batteries at Batteries Plus but will never use them again. I made a call to the shop after to discuss the situation and let them know that it would be nice to be told that there is a cost for installation before they install the battery. During the call the employee was very unconcerned and when I said I was a little bugged with what had happened (in a very nice tone) she simply said okay and then hung up! I couldnt believe she hung up on me. TERRIBLE SERVICE, LOW QUALITY BATTERIES!

Horrible customer service! I will never return to this store! 3 months ago I was told that I must replace the battery and power supply to my HP laptop, so I did. The last few weeks the battery was not charging. Took the laptop and components in this evening. The manager on duty told me that he remembered this computer and said the port on my computer was the problem. I told him that they never told me that. If that had been the problem i wouldnt have spent the money on a battery and power supply, I would have fixed the port. The guy put a screwdriver in the port and said that its defective. I plugged in the computer with my parts and nothing happend. So the guy looked at the cord very close to the plug that enters the computer and found a flaw and said he could see the wires inside. Now was it the port or the wires? Clearly to me it was the wires. The guy plugged in a new power supply and instantly it turns on. So then he got upset at me when I pointed out the power. He wouldnt let me get in a word to explain. He told me he wouldnt warranty the part cause it was my computer causing the issue. I left and called other stores. All the other stores agreed with me and said that no doubt they would have instantly exchanged and warrantied the part. I called this store back and explained that this should be warrantied. 2 times I was hung up on. Next step, better business bureau. Ben C

Im not really impressed with BP, although they have great products their customer service is lacking. I made an online order that was supposed to be able to be filled at the store, the website confirmed the store had the product when in fact I would have to wait 9 days for the batteries. The website charged my credit card twice somehow and when I called to get ahold of a manager i was given the run around. Calling a business 7-8 times to take care of a credit disrepency is not ok. Hopefully this can be resolved in a quick and orderly fashion. Update: Although this problem was complicated it was resolved and the manager Lance called and apologized for the inconvenience and headache caused by the currant problems. I believe an apology goes a long way, thank you Lance.

I went in and told them the type of motorcycle I have and they were happy to sell me a battery. When I got home and found out it was the wrong battery, I took it back and found out that they dont accept returns even though it is still brand new and it was the battery they suggested. Now Im stuck with a $60 overpriced battery that I cant do anything with and still have to buy the original battery I needed. Go anywhere else or make sure you get in writing that they will accept a return if it is the wrong one. Edit: after going back for a 3rd time and talking with the manager they would refund the price taking out a 20% restock fee, then after some discussion there, he gave me back 100%. Still a lot of work, a lot of visits, no decent product.
