I may be jaded comparing Aldi to larger stores, but hear me out. So first, the cart unlocking process is a little weird but OK, I get the method to their madness. Its just very strange especially in a country where people lose more change than they ever keep. Second, you walk right into the store and the first aisle youre in and forced to go through is the junk food aisle. Great, thanks. While the prices are good, the selection of products is abysmal. And I really dont care about the plethora of brands: the big chains get it wrong by offering so many brands of the same product, but its the variety of products that is lacking. Only a handful of flavors of greek yogurt, and most are plain? Really? Thats the best you can do? A baby section thats literally the end cap of an aisle? Get to the end. No bags. While on one hand thats not overly an issue, reusable bags are better, a bit of a shock if youre not expecting it and didnt bring them with you. Overall Aldi is great for quick runs for staple items. For an actual grocery shopping, Aldi isnt worth it unless your diet revolves around junk food and staple items.

Cheap prices! This is a smaller grocery store with a wide variety of goods. Fresh produce. Frozen foods. Dairy. Bread. Meat. There is no deli or bakery. Aldi mission seems to be that of offering a quality shopping experience and quality goods and the lowest price possible. Its a unique grocery store and offers a few unique suprises you wouldnt find in a typical corporate chain. BYOB

Good products at a much cheaper cost than large grocery chains. There are people who dont understand the Aldi plan and complain about lack of products. Yes you do get the basics here, with occasional extras. The point of Aldi is KISS. Learn the acronym and go here to save yourself some $$! Great work Aldi - and those of you who work here!

I can’t express how wonderful this location is. I was so happy to have an Aldi store in Shakopee –such a convenient location. This store is always clean and fully stocked and the staff very friendly. Aldi always has excellent prices on fresh produce and they have really made an effort to carry more organic and healthy options.

This Aldi store is new, big, and brightly lit. The employees are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Dont forget to bring your own bags (paper and plastic bags are available for purchase for a few pennies, otherwise), and bring a quarter to unlock a shopping cart (your quarter is returned when you return the cart).

I cant say enough good things about this store! Best prices anywhere and they usually beat Walmart! They have great seasonal and gourmet sections. The small annoyances of not having hand baskets or specialty items arent enough to dissuade me from wholeheartedly recommending this store!

My wife and I love Aldi. They have great products and produce, at a fraction of what youd pay at Cub or even Walmart. They only get four stars because often times the cashiers throw your groceries into your cart when they check you out, and its kind of disrespectful.

The of brands make you wonder but so far everything has been fantastic. There is a frozen lasagna that is wonderful and the pizza rolls are good as well. My kids love the pizzas and they seem to have decent produce. A lot of stuff in a small store..

Worst customer service ever. I am dissabled and use a walker and the manager says I stoled stuff. I was waiting for Metro Ability outside as the manager wanted to see my receipt. I never ever had somone say I stole things before. It made me feel bad.

Not as busy as many of the Aldis that I have been to, so instantly that gets 4/5 stars. The employees are also very nice and seem to like their jobs. This is my favorite grocery store to go to now.

Cleanest Aldi Ive ever been to. Also the flow was better. Probably because it is new. Still better prices than the huge cavernous super markets. Will always choose Aldi over anything else.

Larger Aldi here than other ones in the area. Sometimes Aldis has certain products that they wont have the next time. For example Colby jack cheese slices. However the prices are great.
