Id hate to give an establishment a one star, but boy are they close! Ive lived in the Stamford area, near this AutoZone for 5+ years now and unfortunately have NEVER had a good experience there. The staff is slow, which makes the line build up quickly, which is the main issue. Ive never had a problem with content in the store, or defective merch, its just all about the slow/incompetent staff. I was in there for a dead battery, knew what I wanted but it ended up taking the gentleman 20+ mins to do a 5 min job. I really dont know if he was a new guy, but even the boss, Mr. Green was a bad Sup. He belittled his worker in front of the customers. I dont care how slow your employees are, you have to remain calm and patient w/ both customers AND your staff. ...its your fault if your staff doesnt know how to use the computers. Unfortunately I live so close, and Im such a gear head, that I end up at this store more often than not.

Terrible place. My left blinker on my Camaro went off and I went to buy the light, the guy who sold it to me I think his name is Oggy, he just sold me any light to get me out of his face, I come back in a day later because he sold me wrong one then tells me on a Monday to come back on Thursday because theyll have the light then. I come back on Thursday and tells me they dont have the light and theres nothing I can do but visit Stamford then I get pulled over the same day for not having a turn light. How is it that an autozone employee doesnt know which light is which. I WILL NEVER SET FOIT THERE AGAIN. Terrible customer service. Close the place down, I rather go to stamford.

The car parts sold under the Autozone brand are very poor quality. I have bought headlights for a Lexus, they broke down within 3 months. I bought a battery for a Honda Accord with a 5 year warranty, I had to replace the battery twice within 2 years of use, I had to pay the towing truck and the mechanic because I did not expect the battery to be the problem so soon after purchasing it. I purchased windshield wipers that failed within a year and scratch my windshield. I am done purchasing parts from this company. Customer service is not bad or good. Im not there to socialize. Im there just to buy a part that is reliable but I do not get that.

After being ignored by the employees, I finally was helped and purchased a car battery. Went to return it the following day because I was unable to lift it into the car. At that time the store employee informed me they actually install them and he swapped out the old battery. Fast forward five months later the replace battery light comes on. My car dies on Easter Sunday returning from a trip with kids and dog. I wait 1 hour 45 minutes for AAA to be told the bolt on the red terminal was loose.....well done Autozone. Happy Easter!

they usually have everything I want but the customer service there is terrible and they need to actually learn what there doing. I had a tail light that wouldnt blink to signal but was still on. The guy told me the bulb was out.....Um hello if the light is still on then the bulb isnt out. Turned out to be something totally unrelated to the bulb. LEARN YOUR STUFF!

This store has met my need for 7 years now across 4 different vehicles. And they have always honored warranty claims, both lifetime as well as 36 month warranties. What more can one want other than the cost savings only AutoZone can deliver! The staff has varied over the years but that is expected. The managers have been there longer and are always helpful.

Poor customer svc. Brought in my dead battery. Mgr on duty said he would charge it and asked me to come back to pick it up. They "charged" it, I took the battery home and found it was still dead! The MOD who ignored me both times I came in the store, offered no reason why they sent me home w a dead battery.

Place is kind of ghetto. A lot of yelling, screaming and complaining amongst the employees. If you need a part, only one or two of the people who work there have any knowledge. The rest are just cashiers who dont have a clue. One good thing is that they will take your used motor oil for recycling.

This is the WORST location i have seen, corporate should crack down on this place, i waited 30 minutes while their staff chatted up in the back leaving ONE guy on the register. They werent in a meeting they were just cracking jokes. they also let people cut the line which is BULLSHIFT

The line is generally pretty long and inefficient, customer service is ok, but friendly employees, and they have a decent parts section, and if they dont have it there are warehouses in stamford and bridgeport.

I visited 2 auto parts stores in Norwalk that day. AutoZone had the selection I needed. The salesman wasnt familiar with the item I wanted but a quick query from an associate and I was on my way.
