The store basically is very nice. Although I know the temperature in the dairy isle has to be kept at a lower rate, it is so cold that I have to wear a jacket through the store. I think the manager should try to find a way to keep the store temperature at a tolerate level and yet maintain the temperature at the correct level for the bins without having the entire walking area that cold. The elderly patrons mind the cold temperature as they then go out in the heat.

I hate grocery shopping but I really enjoy venturing to the Giant on Hershey Road in Hummelstown. This store has the best selection of shopping carts, by far. My favorite is the smaller, upright units with the small cradle for your radio. Ive seen some people even use this cradle for a water bottle! The small things, like this cradle, make shopping here a breeze.

Very clean and great selection. I can often find things here that I cannot get at other Giant Food Stores. Its worth driving a bit further for the better selection and the produce section tends to have much better-looking items. Staff is sometimes unfriendly and the baggers often make the bags too heavy, but that is common at all grocery stores.

Staff working the self check out yesterday laughing at the fact that a shopper thats over 5 months pregnant all but trips over an indoor carpet. Does nothing about it until I went an addressed that someone could really hurt themselves. Thats not a joking laughing matter. Im not shopping here again...

My favorite place to shop!! I choose this grocery store over any other store. The atmosphere is very nice. They also always have everything Im looking for! I went the night before a big snowstorm was supposed to hit, and I was able to get all of the bread, milk, and eggs that I wanted!

We drive way out of our way to go here and so self scan. So nice to not have to fight with grocery bags or people. Coupons can be a hassle and this is not the best giant grocery or deli, but they do have a good organic section and we usually find our favorite stuff.

if we had another place to shop we would. fruits and vegetables have a very short shelf life. cashers smash your groceries baggers suck, bought a baked chicken got home and found they cooked it after it had grown maggets. yes it was filled with cooked maggets.

Great selection! SUPER friendly pharmacy staff that remember you and have great insight into your familys health. Also, I cant tell you how convenient it is that they now have beer and wine. It made summer picnics way easier to plan!

The giant has really improved itself at this location. But the new beer and wine I am very disappointed in. You can only buy four bottles of wine at a time. Id rather go to the state store and all the hassles the deal with.

Decent prices for a last-minute shopping run. Go on a Sunday morning to browse their vast selection of clearance cheeses, meats and seafood! Cant beat the clearance prices to fill your freezer.

I love that you can scan your groceries as you put them in the cart/ bag; it is a huge time saver! Also, the organic section is bigger than other grocery stores in the area.
