This H-mart have 2 floors. Bottom floor is your typical Asian grocery. Here you find common and exotic fruits, veggies, etc. Large selection of seafood. You can always find lobster, large abalone tank, and live fish. They even have tautog/blackfish in the tank. They will clean your fish, just look at the picture to see how you want it done. Decent meats selection. You can get your Korean BBQ (kalbi) for about 10.99/lb. Kim chi in bulk too! Pretty much anything you need from typical grocer with Asian varieties included. Top floor divided into food court and house wares/misc. Bathroom is adjacent to the food court. A very popular place to grab some quick bite, especially on the weekends. The sushi place is worth a visit! A pharmacy and hair salon are also located here.

Downstairs, H Mart is a Korean / Asian Grocery store. Upstairs, H Mart is a cornucopia of Korean and other asian delights within the confines of a small food court. There are actually four restaurants and a bakery to partake from. I havent had a food from any of these establishments that I havent liked. You can easily walk away with a full stomach for less than $10. Every vendor is nice, and the food is always fresh and hot. If I were to have any complaints, its that the kimchi isnt very consistent in its taste; sometimes its incredible, others its not. All the food is wonderful, however. No reservations. No alcohol. No BYO. Water is self-serve. Seat yourself.

20170215 rev. 20170811: Wonderful fresh produce. Also nice Goya and Mama Tere and Tropical selections and all kinds of rice.; lately there have been delicious palm dates in small quantities at a price which seems to be better than Internet bulk! Some packaged items a little pricey perhaps. Overall impression: a nice and friendly store! I shop here almost every other day and it is always a pleasure - especially at non-rush hours. The company needs to perfect/decide-about the sound system..

What a wonderful experience! We had pork katsu and king dumplings for lunch upstairs before starting our shopping. Throughout the store empolyees are offerring free samples of everything from honey pancakes to ramen. The red snapper looked exceptionally fresh and theyll cut and clean it 6 different ways. The produce looked fresh and reasonably priced. Ive been to many Asian markets and this one was the cleanest and best-maintained. If we lived closer, wed be there all the time.

All the delicasies, fish, meats, vegetables that one could ask for are in H Mart. The produce is from around the world If you cant find it elsewhere, check here. Almost everyone can leave here satisfied. The restaurant serves tasty food, fresh and varied. Asians, Indians, Hispanics, Africans, and Americans all can use this crowded gem of a store and find their traditional staples. Ample parking is nearby and H Mart validates parking from the pay lot across the street.

Fresh produce, fish market, live crabs and abalone, organic options, butcher and difficult to find exotic ingredients. Open every day including bad weather days. The place is sanitized with bleach every night...come in around closing if you dont be believe me(very sanitary). Services all ethnicities, many flags in Upper Darby. Special Latin section with bakery items. Bulk rice sold. Homemade sushi daily. Kimchi. Very nice mall upstairs.

H-Mart is INCREDIBLE!!! Produce you have never heard of.... a dozen varieties of yams. Fresh seafood that they will prepare as you desire ..10 cuts of pork belly, a dozen kids of rib eye (including pre-marinated bulgogi.) For all your Asian and Latin American (and even gringo) groceries, it is hard to beat. Great prices. A bonus is the amazing food court upstairs including KILLER fresh sushi at a low price.

Used to be a huge fan, but as the business has grown the value has slid. Some items cost more than your big change Supermarkets. Occasional good deals but Shoppers beware, especially on-sale items! A horrid experience not long ago: bought 3 packages of deeply discounted strawberries just to find them all mody when we got home. Looks like they sell items ready for the dumpster at a huge discount.

I have never been disappoint when I shop at H Mart. Their vegetables, meats and fish are very fresh. And I cant forget about the food court, where you can find a variety of dishes, that are very delicious. And by the way, if you had any questions about finding any of the products, the staff will go out of their way to find it for you, and answer your question.

i have not yet tried the food court upstairs but the grocery is wonderful. it is clean, bright, and well organized. it has all my groceries, not just the asian specialties. the gentleman at the register was very friendly and efficient. its location near the 69th street station is very convenient for quick trips on the way home from work. LOVE IT :-)

I go here for authentic asian products, especially korean or japanese. They carry a lot of other international foods that you dont find in supermarkets, such as British (I found Digestives there recently) and Indian (Mung/Moong driend beans). Their produce section is a big plus - a great selection and fresher than most supermarkets in the area.

They dont only have Korean food but also a decent selection of Chinese and Japanese ingredients too. Im usually cooking Chinese food and going to HMART is a lot more convenient than going all the way into Philadelphia, and I can usually find everything I need. The food court is good, but Im not a big fan of the boba.

Combines Asian and Hispanic foods in one place. Prices are good if you look hard enough but deals are everywhere. The store aisles are small to maneuver, but take your time. Looking for an item that is not found in any store, look in here. Also try going upstairs if you are looking for pots and kitchen ware.

The ground floor is a grocery store. Here you will find many products that are not sold in other local stores making HMart an essential stop during grocery shopping. The upstairs is a food court like setup with several places to order food from. Many tables and chairs are available to dine at.

I love H Mart, I live in Bloomsburg, PA and wish there is one closer to me than having to drive 2.5 hours to nearest one. Had suggested one closer in PA, but never ever hear back. Disappointed that most of the H Mart are clustered together in this area and not spread out over PA as well.

Typically more expensive than your other oriental grocery stores on Washington Avenue in Philadelphia, but it gets the job done if South Philly is too far. Its a bonus if you go during a time when they hand out sample foods. Unfortunately, I have yet to figure out their freebie schedule.
