Im not from the area but had come to the plaza for lunch and decided to grab a couple things that were on sale that did not need to be kept cold so I came in and got them. The parking lot had plenty of spots to park especially since a lot of the stores in the plaza are closed including the chain restaurants that had been there a few years ago so that was nice but there were a lot of people blocking the entrance to the store, some even smoking right by the door while Im guessing they were waiting for the bus or taxi. Things got better though when I entered the store from what I could see as the aisles did not seem too crowded with a lot of shelf stocking going on but as with 95% of other ShopRites they have the problem of not being able to see what items are in each row whether it be from things blocking the signs or your vision down the rows or that things are just not listed. I never did find the pickles I was thinking of getting but I didnt need them so it was not worth trying to find someone to ask.

Very disappointed in customer service. I have attempted to order the home delivery 3 times from this ShopRite . The first time was fine. Second time, they didnt deliver in the time slot scheduled. I called, they said they were a little behind but I would get my delivery that evening. I called again around ten, they said the delivery driver has went home, I would get my order the next day. The next day comes, and nothing - finally around noon I call and speak with a manager, they had no idea about my order. Finally around 3 I get my order with about half the items missing - I wasnt charged for them, but still they could have asked me about alternatives or substitutes. The third time I order, same thing - no call, no show, nothing. Its now the next day and I still havent received my food and im informed that I may not even receive my order now. At this point ill never order from this shop rite or any other again, or recommend it to anyone else.

Ordered at home delivered service. It came late and was wrong. Driver called to tell me he would be there in 5 to 10 minutes, then showed up 30 minutes later. Manager wasnt brave enough to even get on the phone with me until I asked the woman helping me for the district managers number. They cant refund the mistake, so my choices are drive out to the airport and pick my stuff up or just eat the cost. Nice, real nice. --follow up. I went to pick up the food. Now the people that work at this store have never seen me and I have never been in their store before. They totally ignored me at the home pickup windows. I had to page the manager to get the attention of someone working in the pickup area. They acted like I was invisible. I can assure you I will never buy anything from that store again.

I dont often call but when I do a young lady named Taquita usually answers; shes always ultra polite, takes time to check on availability & offers details on the products I ask about. In a store full of great workers i believe her to be the best worker in the field. Along with oldies music, excellent values & an on- site bakery (yum), youve made this 70 yr-old senior a very satisfied customer. Thanks ShopRite!

I literally waited 30 minutes in the customer service line. Its crazy because I came at the least busy time as it says. The young girl that was helping me has a nasty attitude, and lack of customer service. My paperwork has been ready for about 15 minjtes. Just moved this area wont be visiting this shop right anymore. Just too ghetto for me.

Extremely rude Customer service. The self checkout representative - I think her name is Dorraine made me feel like I was a criminal. Ive been shopping at Shoprite for over 10 years and have never been treated so badly in my life. Shoprite at Penrose Plaza needs better service representatives

I dont understand why eveytime I go in, theres only one or two register open for people with more then 20 items. I understand wanting to make sure people who run to pick a few item get in & out. But what about the big shopper. Otherwise I like shopping there.

I usually do self check out and a person staffing that area is always available and helpful. I also like that it was very easy returning a product- even one I opened but wasnt satisfied with. I bought a 1/2 sheet cake for a party and it was yummy also.

This is my local shoprite so I know it by heart aisle by aisle. If something isnt where it should be the employees are usually More than helpful in finding out not only where it is, but will escort you to where the items display is now located.

Island Avenue Shop Rite is my main store for shopping. It is consistently lower priced than their competitors. My only complaint is I dont buy beverages there anymore.

A good neighborhood market that a attracts airport hotel traffic because of proximity. Always stocked well. Deli is okay but could be fresher.
