Acme stores, especially this one, consistently have the highest prices by far, the stalest food (judging by expiration dates), the most pricing mistakes (which are always in Acmes favor), the rudest and slowest service, and the filthiest stores. There is a reason that Acmes market share has been steadily declining. The only reason that they stay open is because they advertise the most. Any competitor will give you a much better deal. For example, local produce stores and delis have much fresher product for five times less money. If you prefer supermarkets, there are five within driving distance (Walmart, Shoprite, Bottom Dollar, Target, and Food Basics) which are infinitely superior in every way.

This store is crooked. My wife and I were there on Wednesday and Maxwell House coffee was on sale for 6.99. They charged me 8.99. I called and they said to bring my receipt and they will give it back to me. I brought my receipt today and all the sale signs were gone. Go figure. They were very rude and one woman told me that I never saw those ad tags cause they were never there. The people at this store are very rude and dishonest. I will drive out of my way to go to Shoprite. At least I know I will be treated kindly and never talked down to.

Will not shop here anymore! They took away the self checkout so in order to buy 3 things I had to wait in line and it took about 20 minutes! I was told they took away the self checkout because they are putting in a bar. I was a little confused. So I asked the cashier what kind of bar and she said like a regular bar if you want to get a drink and watch a game. I dont want to get a drink while I am food shopping. I want to get in and out if I am only buying a few things. The prices are also higher than anyone elses. So long Acme.

I am only giving this store 5 stars because of the young man in the deli department. I believe his name was Travis ,he was kind and very patient with me he made sure I had everything I needed. The young man even recommended a lunch meat for me and my husband loved it. I just hope he is around the next time I visit because I cant seem to remember the brand it was and my husband insisted I get that again . Thanks Travis for making my deli run a success ☺️

Awful store. Managers give you attitude and act as if you are out to get them. When buying alcohol one would think that they will just ask for ID and scan it if you are 21 it shouldnt be a problem but apparently it is if it says "under 21" before you turned 21 even if it was months ago, so they will ask you for another form of ID and if you dont have one they wont sell you anything, pathetic. This hasnt happened anywhere else. Dont go here its awful.

Acme is the worst supermarket on the planet. Because these fools removed the self-checkout lanes, I had to wait 32 minutes just to buy eight items, two of which were meat which turned out to be horribly spoiled! These lowlifes sell their meat well beyond the expiration dates but do not warn consumers. Plus the staff treats customers like the enemy. And lets not forget that Acmes prices are consistently the highest in Philly. Never again.

Wow, never again. I was yelled at by the butcher lady yesterday night because I wanted my meat thinly sliced. She then proceded to give me attitude. I waited 25 min for a quarter pound of corn beef. Im sorry, but you have losg a customer. Everytime I come here the cashiers have a nasty attitude and act like they dont want you around. For shame!

Acme is by far the very worst supermarket chain on Earth, as many other people have pointed out. Acme has the highest prices; stalest food; rudest, slowest, laziest employees; slowest checkout; and dreariest, dirtiest, and most disorganized stores. Acme is losing market share by the minute. Watch them go under soon.

Always expired food on the shelves and the customer service sucks! They dont honor the prices either when they start prepping for the upcoming sale, the signs are up but they will NOT honor until the next day when the sale officially starts.

love their bait and switch scam (low sticker price, charge far more at the checkout) plus the fact that their ice cream expires in two months. go to shop rite for friendlier service and much fresher food. even walmart is a far better deal

Managers at this market are some of the rudest people you will ever meet. Their prices are extremely high and their deli department is just the worst. I like their gas rewards program and the fact that they are open at 6am.

We love our Acme store #920. A lot of the employees there have been there for years and years and you really get a good feeling seeing so many familiar faces. I enjoy shopping Acme!

Dreadfully bad service, extremely high prices, spoiled/expired food, and a dreary atmosphere. Blame the $20-an-hour union thugs for that. Watch Acme fold within a year or two.

Acmes groceries are way overpriced, as in double what some discount stores charge. Acmes gas pumps dont work properly half the time and their attendants are incredibly rude.

It amazes me, they take away the self check outs and dont add more cashiers. I Think they love to frustrate people. That place needs new management, hire more cashiers

Nice selection of ready to eat foods - - hot and cold. Beer selection is quite large. Produce usually fresh and moderately priced. Otherwise a typical supermarket

Been going there since opened. Clean, nice workers, not always stocked with what you need tho. Havent had my iced tea or pita chips in weeks!

Easy to find items .usually clean has electric shopping carts cashiers help bagging. Usually has several checkout cashiers open

Best Acme around by far!! Very clean, never overcrowded. Their produce is well stocked, and they even have beer and wine!!
