I actually do save a lot. The produce section isnt very good and produce is not fresh a lot of times. Other items in the store are sometimes very close to the expiration date and over; such as milk and yougurt.You have to check the dates. Very little name brands, however, I feel like this maybe the only store that has comparable generic to the name brands I use most of their brands. You need a quarter to use a cart but when you take the cart back you get it back. You also have to take your own bags unless you want empty boxes off the shelf or to pay for save a lot bags.The store isnt in a "good" area of town but I feel safe; the police ride by often. I havent had any problems.

I would not shop there if you are of color ( African American) an employee named Brenda told me I couldnt use the restroom because I wasnt shopping. I told her that I didnt start my shopping yet because I has to use the restroom.. her response to me was no due to the fact that I didnt have a cart with groceries in it. Now in all actuality her and the other employee didnt want to go to the back to unlock the bathroom door because they were busy talking. So I wouldnt spend my money there. ShopRite is 5 mins away and has a better variety of foods

Dont expect Wegmans or Whole Foods. Not huge selection of most categories. Service is typically efficient but the staff seems uncaring most of the time. Frequent loiterers and millabouts contribute to its ghetto feel, but its a decent mid-sized grocery store for routine "pick-up" trips if you live in town. I usually get my staples and cooking ingredients here with no problem, but it doesnt stock more than the basics.

Im on a fixed income (senior citizen), I can buy some things here that are of good quality and I shop elsewhere for items that I cant find here. Some of the Save-a-lot brands are actually better then their brand name counterparts. I know, Im a one time chef. The helpfulness of their employees is first rate.

I hated it. The fruit I bought was already bad. When I got home and went to have a piece it was so moldy all of the stuff was. Meat wasnt fresh either, it stunk when I opened the package. My dogs wouldnt even eat it and I cooked it thoroughly. Never again!!!

The prices are usually ok, but the quality and selection isnt that great in my opinion. The snacks are tasty though. I shop here because its very close and i have no transportation. They do sometimes have good deals like most grocery stores.

The staff ia helpful but ita pretty gross in there sometimes. But thats just Millville. Their produce isnt very fresh and there were flies everywhere.
