If you want organic food, less common veg/vegan food and cosmetic options, nice people and are willing to go slightly off the beaten path, look no further than Kimberton in Ottsville. A bit pricey compared to regular supermarkets, but eating clean aint cheap. (And stop in next door at Brig O Doon Coffee for a relaxing coffee/snack- its connected to Kimberton, just walk through the passage at the back of the Kimberton market).

It is a smaller grocery carrying high quality foods. They carry organic, local, and chemical free produce, meats, and grains, as well as great travel foods, and household supplies. I shop there regularly because the people are friendly and helpful and the food/supplies are great!

Healthy, diverse food items in abundance. And they now even carry Vegan Scrapple by Russian Pepper USA! Really has kept the feel of a cozy, well-kept farmhouse, which makes sense because Ottsville is out in farm country. Best health food/product store in many miles.

Best store we have ever shopped. Staff is helpful and knowledgable. It has everything you need and we do not have to read every label worrying about where the food originated. All of our weekly groceries are bought here ... a true gem and perk living in this area.

We stop here on bike rides often. Not particularly into the health food thing, but they seem to have a good selection. Staff is friendly. They have snacks and drinks. There is a restroom.
