I will preface this by saying I have had 22 piercings in my life time, some of which i have taken out since.. Okay, so my friend told me about a place i could go to get $10 piercings. Alright, sweet. I head up there. Get my nipples pierced and my snug.. Nipples? Duh he knew what that was. But for my snug? He had to look at the little diagram on the display case and then was like well, yeah i can do that.. BUT he didnt have the jewelry i wanted. I should have taken all of that as a sign and not gotten it done.. Anyway, nipples healed well, aside from the cheap jewelry that was used in them.. but my snug?? Holy cow. I have never IN MY ENTIRE LIFE had a peircing so infected. I cleaned and took care of it just as i dod with all my other piercings, but i cant get it to go away, which is going to make me have to go to the doctors to see exactly what i can do to take the infection out so i can remove the jewelry.. Which brings me to my next horrible experience with this shop.. Took my sister there to gwt her nose pierced. Infected. She cleaned hers exactly how she was told and came down with a staph infection. NOW, i realize that staph lives in your body.. i get that. But coming from a TATTOO SHOP?? Like, bruh, come on.. tattoo shops are supposed to be as sterile as hospitals. You are puncturing our bodies and providing us with a modification, not an infection.. My sister got diagnosed some antibiotics to beat the infection, and she just so happened to be allergic so shes been in the hospital for 4 days. All of which could have been avoided if the shop would have been a little more sterile, doctor even said so herself. I would not recommend my worst enemy to go here... And no, Im in no way, shape, or form affiliated with the people who got the cops called on them. Its called a review, and if you (the owner) are reading this and choose to get your feelings hurt, thats fine. Maybe instead of copying and pasting a "slander" message on your bad reviews you could take time to improve your shop ans make it to where we dont have to say such negative things. That is all.

The shop is VERY nice inside. It is very clean, and I love the decorating! Definitely a nice shop, youd think theyd have expensive prices, but they have very reasonable and cheap prices for the services that they offer (tattoos, piercings, microdermals, body jewlery, & aftercare products). They have a great selection of body jewlery, they have stainless surgical grade steel jewlery & also titanium jewlery that covers simple jewlery up to the fancy, nice jewlery- tongue barbells, captive bead rings, horseshoes, navel curved barbells, eyebrow, lip, labret/monroe, ear gauges, nipple jewlery, etc,. Anyways, I had Nina do 2 piercings for me & she did an amazing job. She was very nice, respectful, gentle, helpful, honest, and patient. She answered all of my questions without hesitation (and I had plenty of questions). She was very gentle, the two piercings that she did a few days ago are my nipples. She didnt lie, they did hurt! She said it would be the most painful of all my piercings & if I could get through that then I could get through anything, & yes it was the most painful! The most painful thing Ive ever experienced by far! But she was gentle & quick, and Ive had 0 problems, besides the typical soreness & swelling. I love them, the pain is totally worth it! :) I am extremely satisfied with my services here from her. I am OCD, & they are perfectly even, not crooked at all! I would recommend this shop to anyone. Also the prices were very cheap. Their piercings are ONLY $10 each, which includes the jewlery, everything. So, both of my nipples were $20 total. I got both done for cheaper than most shops charge for one piercing; $25-$60 is the normal prices around here for 1 piercing. Im very happy! I cant wait to go back and get tattooed! Chris does great work, look him up too! He hasnt tattooed me yet, but Ive seen his work- its great & Ive also heard only positive & good things about him. Overall: Nice & clean shop, friendly artists, beautiful work, great quality, and cheap & reasonable prices!

Ive had my rook, my conch, my tongue, and my nose done here, and I have to say that I am very impressed. I have a number of other piercings that Ive had done at other locations, but since I started going to Romantic Torture I havent had anything done anywhere else. Their piercers are friendly and knowledgeable; Ive had three different piercers so far and have been pleased with each. I havent experienced any irregular pain or infection with any of the four piercings Ive had done here, and I have to wonder if the other reviewers knew how they were supposed to keep their piercings clean afterward if they did experience an infection. Romantic Tortures pricing is AMAZING; ($10 for pretty much everything above the waist that isnt particularly thick cartilage-- my nose was $16,) so much so that I was actually really worried about whether the place would be dirty or unprofessional when I first went. Personally, Im really picky about how clean piercing places are, and I have absolutely no objections to Romantic Torture. They take the tools out of their plastic wrapping in front of you, and often sterilize things anyway. Theyre as clean as could be. Ive read other reviews saying that the piercers at RT "look like they do meth" or "smelled strongly of cigarettes." Honestly, they dont look like junkies. They look like workers at a tattoo parlor. And if youre really that concerned about a piercer smelling like smoke, you need to reconsider what youre even doing in a tattoo parlor, in my opinion.

I have been here twice the first time was for a tattoo. It wasnt centered with the other tattoo underneath of it. And it bleed 30 mins after i left due to them only putting a piece of plastic wrap over it. Honestly i think they went to deep &was to heavy handed because the tattoo hurt so bad &took longer than any other tattoo i had, including a tattoo on my ankle. I will never get another tattoo there but i did return to gt my nipples pierced due to it only being $10. When entering the shop they r really nonchalant not really personable or energetic. After filling out the form i was called back he opened up all the packages right in front of me but again really didnt make any eye contact or conversation. He marked my nipples and tld me to lay down. He didnt explain what he was doing or tell me to breath in &out like i saw in some youtube videos. Only told me to use h2ocean on my piercing and claimed you could only find it in rt which is not true i have seen this product in numerous tattoo shops. I would of liked more information on aftercare or a paper describing aftercare as Im not that experienced in piercings. I have gotten more advice and what to expect info on Google. After reading some of these comments i hope my piercing do no get infected. I think rt employees need to be more personable, friendly and informational.

MAD isnt the word. Yall, dont go to Romantic Torture Tattoo on capital. I went there last Sunday to get my tattoo. I was told I need to put a $50 deposit down so Christian could do my tattoo.. He was supposed to send me a picture on Thursday, I was supposed to come in either today or Monday to get the tat. I called today just to see what was going on because I never got that pic. He tells me he didnt even start the drawing yet, a sketch that was supposed to be done on Thursday. So today.. a week later, I go in and ask for my deposit. He tells me its "non refundable" and shows me a little sign that says "all sales are final" ..What sale? He didnt even draw up my tattoo. Long story short. When I took the picture of the sign, the owner tells me "youre not allowed to take a picture of anything in my shop" and tells me that its his shop, his rules. When I asked for the consent form I signed before I got my tattoo, he tells me "no" because its his "rules" - The owner Mike gets upset and calls the cops on me. I talk to them.. They let me know that Im not even allowed back into the shop. Ill be arrested for "trespassing" - The cop said its a private owned business so theres nothing I could do but sue & call the BBB. ...Yall, dont waste your time or your money. The MOST unprofessional tattoo parlor I have ever been to.
