JD Byrider is by Far the worst company. They do not always report correctly to the creditors. Tom will not agree to but anything verbal in writing and there are so many lies that they tell. My first car was totaled no fault of mine and I refinanced with the same company. This is a huge mistake. I have already taken action against the company by filling with the credit companies and the BBB. The customer service gets worse and worse. Now there are good people every ounce in a while but thats about all. Plus you cant ever get in touch with cooperate.. This is one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I regret ever walking into that building. By the way TOM owns both Harry Hines and the Desoto sites and there is no assistance any where. I returned the car for service because there was a dangerous jerking motion when accelerating. now that the car is no longer under warranty because my parent is sick in another state, so the mile were placed on the car. We now get them to admit that the motor mounts were bad.. The motor was shaking the whole time. As a result the water pump went bad and I lost power stern while driving. I was also given the wrong plates. I was driving around with a RED CHEVY plate for 4 months before someone called me regarding my actual plates that had been sitting there. Latisha if thats how you spell her name. She is the Finance manager has the rudest attitude and no understanding. There is so much I could say about my horrible experience with this company but I am so angry. But please understand this is not the half!!!

If you love being sold a defective vehicle, lied too, and cheated then this is the place for you! If not then dont ever buy a vehicle from any jd byrider..... They are a scam...... I was sold a vehicle and not even 24 hours after, it was in the shop for a week, because the head gaskets blew on the vehicle. Oh and did they offer to reimburse for the uber I used for the week? Or did they offer a loaner? Nope sure didnt..... they never even gave me courtesy calls to tell me what was going on with my vehicle after I put down a ton of money..... oh and it gets better they have a number you "have to call" for maintenance or car troubles its even in your contract and it was disconnected..... hahaha and when I brought it up to them there answer was "well it shouldnt be" lol such a joke of a business it really truly is...... oh and I was working in Arlington and couldnt get to pay them in time so I was told "Ill wait for you" did they wait? Nope they sure didnt..... so when I called the next morning while at work to try and pay they said "sir its policy you have to come in to pay for a late car payment" so yes people I had to drive over an hour to make a lousy payment....... please listen to my warning if you value your hard earned dollars do not go to this place at all dont even look at the sign it will probably even cost you as well.... oh and if I could give 0 stars or negative stars I so so so so so would!

My experience at the dealership was a very good one from the moment I made the first phone call to find out how could I get a car..Emanuel was my salesman n was very professional n explained everything I need to bring so I wouldnt forget anything he also told me how long I could expect to b there..upon arriving to the dealership I was meet outside by emanuel n brought into the dealership n offered me something to drink since it was so hot outside..I got all my paperwork completed n while the finance people were doing their thang emanuel took me out to pick out a car which I did..the car I wanted required a larger downpayment which I didnt have at the moment..so of course I was disappointed n left the dealership only to get a call from my salesman to *** back bcuz his manager was gonna work with me(yeaaaa)so when I returned to the dealership I was able to put down what I originally had n I could return the next day to put the money needed for the car..so of course I left a happy camper..the experience I had at jdbyrider was excellent the enrire staff were very professional n ready to help in fact they all worked together as a team to get me in the car I wanted..so I said all that to say if ur lookin for a car n u have questionable credit go c the wonderful team at jbyrider n tell em jeanna sent u

Ive had my car for a year now & it has barely refelected on my credit. I am FORCED to make on time payments every month because if I am ONE day late, they will repo my car! So why the hell is this not reflecting on my credit positively!? A year & 4 months of on time payments & my credit is the same as it was when I got the damn car! Oh & apparently the car has been in a wreck before & it only worth $1,800 but Im paying damn near $20,000 for it & its just an 09 Ford sedan!! I WAS NEVER TOLD THE CAR WAS IN A WRECK!! The salesmen back then didnt explain anything to me at all. Over time I was finding things out on my own. Guess I learned the hard way. But Im sure its all my fault for not reading every single word on the documents right? This place is a joke but a good way to get into a car quick if needed. Worst mistake ever. Im a young adult trying to fix my credit & they dont even report to my damn credit. Again, worst mistake ever & I would never recommend someone to buy from here.

Im the owner of a music studio. Emanuel was great however there was a lady who came to review my application. She was rude. Glanced my bank statements and ultimately suggested I didnt have a business I was lying and questioned my licensing as if she was going to catch me in a lie. Bank statements and websites couldnt be good enough. Elephant in the room: Im a small 27 year old black female business owner. I have two. Im used to shocked faces but never anyone (especially in a business setting) to directly question if I basically am making it all up while having irrefutable proof..Embarrassing and offensive. I went down the road and paid CASH for a 2014 mitsibish mirage.. she definitely made my experience bad wether I was approved or not.. Seemed like a bitter woman who wasnt happy with where she was in life.. Why cant I have 2 companies.. Why couldnt I be treated with respect and not side eyed after bringing up how I make money when its relevant..

Terrible experience. I can say my sale rep was great went the extra to try to make things work out. Unfortunately I did not leave with a car. They asked who reffered me to the i told them my Mom. She has a over due balance totaling about 3000ish so her car is on the lot till she pays or the car will be auctioned away. Anyway I did all the paper work and was told it was pretty much a go. I went on a Saturday I was told come back Monday to finish up. I was told by some one on the phone that the owner (who was never named) said I couldnt buy a car but I could buy my moms car. My moms had a lot of issues witch another reason she fell behind on car note trying to get car fixed. I also was not offered a better deal. My main point is, why was that even a option when my mom was not a co-signer or even a part of my deal. Besides being a reference. And Why was not offer another deal? Very disappointed. Word of advice take your money elsewhere!!
