Okay, so, where to start. A few weeks ago, I bought a brand-new 2014 STi from them. Black. Beautiful car. Im pretty happy with the deal I got on it, too. Sales department was alright in my book. Car salesmen, though, so be careful - keep your wits about you. After the sale, though, the trouble starts. They didnt wash the car before handing it over to me - the hood was still covered in the adhesive they use to hold that plastic on for protection during shipping. I let that go, because oh well, I can just run it through a quality automatic carwash (Blue Hen Carwash, specifically) myself. The car had a few of the options I wanted already installed at the factory/port - the short-throw shifter and shift bushing to go with it, and it already had the all-weather floor mats in it. However, I wanted a handful of other options: * SPT performance exhaust * Vortex generator * 120VAC power outlet * Block heater * Boost gauge * Moonroof So at purchase, I made an appointment to drop it off the following Wednesday morning to get the exhaust, vortex generator, and boost gauge installed. The moonroof couldnt be done at that time (time constraints I guess), and the power outlet and block heater were on back order, so I knew it would have to come back at least once. Well, that Wednesday rolls around, I walk in to drop it off, and they have _no idea_ that my car is supposed to be there. The paperwork was misplaced or something. So they didnt order the parts, and they didnt have a time slot open for me. I was willing to let that go as well, because things happen, but bear in mind that were at two strikes here. Several days later my parts came in, dropped it off in the morning, picked it up at the end of the next day, and Im all happy. The exhaust sounds great, the boost gauge is great driver feedback, and the vortex generator...well, maybe it does something, maybe not, but at least it looks cool. Then I wash it. The first wash reveals a small cluster of shallow scratches on the hood. Im starting to get irritated now, because if they had washed the car, this would have been noticed. Due to the shape and isolated nature, theres no realistic way an automatic car wash couldve put them in. Fast forward another few days and they can take me for the moonroof install. I dropped it off with 871 miles on the odometer. I told them to fix the hood while they were at it - whether it needed to be compounded and buffed or have the clearcoat redone - I dont care, its a paint defect, fix it. I picked it up today - the paperwork says 875 miles, the odometer says 989. That means that they put 128 miles on my car, while claiming they put 4 on it. And in reality, they didnt need to put _any_ on it. On top of that, the cars covered in dirt, was left outside in the rain, one of the rims is scratched (like it hit a curb), and there are swirl marks - so they either used the wrong compound or pressed too hard with the buffer. Never again Matt Slap Subaru. 2017-05-30 edit: Noticed this past weekend that the license plate mounting screws they supplied (all two of them, not four) are nothing but rust. Really? The amount of money people spend with you and you cant even provide two stainless steel screws?

About 4 weeks ago I started talking to another Subaru dealership in the area about purchasing a new 2016 WRX Limited. I was very specific with what I wanted. They had one listed on their website which was exactly as I wanted. After two weeks of the internet sales guy trying to get me to come in I agreed to come in and look at the vehicle. When I got there I was greeted fairly rudely and told that the vehicle was still being delivered! I asked if they had any 2016 WRX in stock and a salesman reluctantly walked me out back and showed me two base models and would not even unlock them for me. I had financing and a significant down payment. I left without saying a word. Fast forward to who this review is really about. I randomly called Matt Slap Subaru on the way home from the other Subaru dealership. I was put through to Jason Marker. Jason checked on his stock and took the time to explain the ordering process to me over the phone and answered all my questions. I drove straight to Matt Slap and met with Jason in person. He explained that they had a white 2016 Limited WRX in stock and handed me the keys to go check it out. After coming back inside I got my trade appraised for a very fair price and started the order process. I was informed that my vehicle would be in mid February. Flash forward two weeks and I get a call from Jason on Christmas Eve. He informed me that he was checking the incoming stock and they had almost exactly the vehicle I had ordered come in. He set up a time for me to come in the day after Christmas. I drove to the lot after the dealership closed on Christmas Eve and checked out the WRX. I was extremely pleased that Jason had taken the time to put a sign in the window that said, "Sold: DO NOT DRIVE." I come in the day after Christmas and everything goes incredibly smooth. I have a bit of an issue with buying cars. This is my 16th car. I can honestly say I have NEVER dealt with a more friendly, helpful, and more down to Earth salesman then Jason Marker. He was honest and truly a pleasure to deal with. He is truly an asset to Matt Slap Subaru and I highly recommend going through him if you are in the market.

I went to this dealership, with the intention of purchasing a late model low mileage legacy. I made a fair offer on the legacy I wanted and the sales manager told me to choose another vehicle. Keep in mind, the legacy had minor body damage, road rash on the wheels, and a tear on the upholstery. I told him that what I was offering was way above the wholesale price the dealership paid and that I was not paying more than my pre-approved price. The sales manager said I would have to pay the ridiculous dealer fees, taxes, and tags. Then he had the nerve to ask me why I didnt get approved for a higher amount. I told him that I could have but Im comfortable at 13k. I asked him if hes letting 13k walk away on a car priced at 12,900. He said yes. I will NEVER purchase a car here. I will happily give 13k or more to another dealership. I am disgusted with this experience and this dealership. *RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE. CURRENT DATE 12/11/16* Im sorry that you dont understand that your advertised price should be the final price of the product you sell. You dont go to McDonalds and purchase a 2 dollar pick 2 and pay 2.50 to cover taxes, additional fees and the toilet paper you will most certainly use. BTW, remember that promise to happily go to another dealership I mentioned? Did just that and got a car with substantially lower mileage. Youre business model f@*ked you out of a check that Concordville Subaru gladly accepted.
