The only image that I had of shops on Rodeo Drive was from the movie Pretty Woman. The shop clerks snubbed Julia Roberts because she was dressed as a prostitute. My wife and I had flown from Raleigh-Durham NC to visit some friends, they were giving us the "tour". They took us into the Ralph Lauren store and I was loaded for bear, I can have a very smart mouth and was ready to unleash it if some clerk tried to snub me! We walked in the door dressed in nice but modestly priced clothes, it didn’t take them long to realize that we were "country come to town". They had a huge box right in front of the store and it was filled with very nice picture frames that were on sale for $30.00, I asked one of the clerks if she would hold onto one for me as we continued shopping. I was stunned at the treatment that I received! These folks fell all over themselves trying to wait on us! You would have thought that I was spending thousands of dollars instead of $30! If we are ever able to go back to Rodeo drive, Ralph Lauren will be my first and maybe only stop. Real class has nothing to do with a fleeting grasp on fame or fortune, it is treating everybody that you come in contact with great regard. I was treated like I a good friend and I really appreciate it! Nadine and the rest of the ladies did everything they could to make sure that we had an incredible "Rodeo Drive" experience! Called this location looking for a specific type of bracelet I saw on the Ralph Lauren site that was no longer on the site. It was removed just two days prior to my phone call. I described the bracelet and even had them look up a picture of the piece on a model online. The woman I spoke with was basically useless. Called the store in Texas, they found it immediately for me.

The sales associates were friendly and very patient. Drive your car through the back and they have a valet for patrons who are scheduled for a fitting.
