I love Publix as a chain, but the branch on Lake Washington has some flaws. Its a smaller Publix, so the store feels cramped, especially when coming into the store where the carts are stored, I always have to be careful coming around the corner so I dont bump into someone. Because it is a smaller branch they also dont have as much selection in food as the bigger Publix branches. Also, the service at the Deli is soooo slow. I recommend not using the sandwich shop or deli during prime time, long lines and everyone works at a snails pace. If you need to get deli meat/cheese here order online and pick it up, this has saved me 20-30 mins. on a grocery run. Otherwise, I love the cashiers and baggers, very friendly and they often offer to help take your bags to your car.

My birthday was this week so my husband ordered a small cake for me. I heard so many good things about Publix bakery so instead of making my own cake I thought we will buy one there. BIG MISTAKE !! :( I dont know if it was because it was small ? but it was so dry I choked and some of it was stuck in my throat. Luckily I had some water and it went down. What a relief !!!! The icing was very thick and too sweet for my taste. This is something you can get at Wal-Mart bakery thats why I didnt buy it there. I will never listen to anybody ever again especially my neighbor she is the one that said it was the best bakery in town. LOL what a joke. She has bad taste I guess LOL. In the future I will be making my cakes and breads by scratch.....

All of the employees are very polite they always say hi always willing to help you I rather pay a couple more dollars for a basket of food then go to Walmart and theyll deal with employees that do not even want to be there if you can find one they always have good deals on buy one get one free but like I always tell people thats just my opinion

Everyone of the employees go over and beyond to always try to help me and my family find what we need. Im wheat intolerant and one of the employees called the post road publix to see if they had one of the "Mama Marys pizza tonight." I wish I had looked at her name tag. The Lake Washington Publix is one of my favorite stores with fresh produce, bakery, deli, pharmacy, floral, dairy, frozen foods, and everything else one might expect a grocery store to carry. Regular prices can be higher than some other stores, but loyal Publix shoppers are rewarded with weekly BOGOs (Buy One Get One Free).

I ordered a couple subs for a scheduled 6:15 pickup and they completely forgot about our order and we waited in line 20 minutes past our pick up time and even then they hadnt even started it. Not cool!

Great for getting in and out and their deli is great. The staff here really take the time to really make their subs stand out. I love the care and pride they have in their store.
