We dealt with Tracey while searching for a used vehicle. Overall, we had a terrible experience with her. It took three days and many hours spent at the dealership before we got anything accomplished. We were promised a 2006 Ford Escape with less than 100k miles and suddenly couldnt be approved for it because it was "too old", but they were perfectly fine with giving us ANOTHER 2006 with more miles and mechanical issues. I was asked to write a review, and this is what I originally posted: "We went in thinking we were approved for an 06 ford and they offered us an 06 Nissan instead. The Nissan had some mechanical issues that needed to be addressed. They were willing to work with us despite not having established credit. I was disappointed that we werent able to get the original car we were approved for, and were offered one with more miles and an exhaust leak instead." Tracey decided to confront me in the lobby about that review. She was yelling back and forth with me IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS about why I "put her on blast" on here. She also asked me WHY I would let people know the car had an exhaust leak and more mileage. She, along with the finance director Jeremy, said that I was not entitled to write a review because it was a car for my boyfriend. Two of the managers asked if I would take the review down, and no one reprimanded this woman for her extreme unprofessionalism in front of other customers. She insisted that no matter what I wrote in the review or how many stars I gave her, it wouldnt affect her anyways. With that being said, I plan to let everyone know on any local review site about my experience with her. Its comical that she has the highest number of sales for last month. She takes advantage of new buyers and the fact that they are unfamiliar with the process. She told us the vehicle costed LESS than the Ford (which was 8,999) but it ended up being over $10k (which was our limit). I still cant understand why a vehicle with more mileage costed more than the original car we wanted, and Ill never get my answers because no one there seems to HAVE answers. We ended up waking away with the 2006 Nissan, because it was our only option to start building our credit. We decided to take on the burden of repairing the exhaust and walked away hoping nothing else was wrong with it, because the dealership refused to fix it before selling it. We took the vehicle home last night, expecting that it was safetied like they promised, and we noticed that the fuse was blown in the front right headlight. If you take your business to Hobbs, DONT go to Tracey. I recommend Hunter. He was the only one there who remained polite and helpful during the entire process. If youre interested in a used vehicle, be sure to get it checked out by an unbiased mechanic before you buy.

Buyer’s beware. I bought a used car on Aug 2014 on full down payment. I contacted DMV on 2014 Sept end since I was yet to receive the title of the vehicle and was told that the necessary paperwork’s/payments were not done by the dealership to DMV. I contacted the dealership and they said they will look into it. I went to DMV again on 2nd week of Oct to confirm if everything was in place, but to my surprise, DHH was yet to complete the paper works. I confronted DHH with this situation and was told that DHH has cleared all the paperwork’s /payments and the delay is on the DMV side as it sometime takes time to get reflected. I followed with Wisconsin DMV on last week of Oct and found the dealership did not file the paperworks till then. I contacted the dealership again, just to hear back the same story and was told by the salesperson that nothing can be done at their end. When I confirmed from DMV again on 2ndweek of Nov that the documents were not in place yet, I talked to the DHH manager. I was told by him that he would get back to me on this by 2 days as the finance department of them was closed on Saturday. 1 week passed and there was nothing. I was left with no other options but to file a complaint with Wisconsin DMV on last week of Nov (I bought the car on Aug). Only after the intervention of DMV, I was issued the title on 1st week of Jan 2015. (almost 5 months after I bought the car). Although I received the title, I was not sure why a dealership will take so much time unless there is something else. I was daily commuting with the car of which I did not have the title. Even I am not sure if DHH dealership had the title in their possession and necessary documentation to sell me the car at that time when I bought it. It was a huge headache to go through this purchase and running back and forth. Also when I bought the car there were a number of places all over the car where the paint chip came off. At the time of purchase, I was told it will be taken care of, but when the purchase was complete, things went south as if it was a misunderstanding on what detailing needs to be done. As a used car, the price was way too high and a lot of bargaining had to be done to be at a realistic price point. Once the car was bought, the only thing I heard from them that this was a used car and small issues are expected. After a number of visits to the dealership, they agreed to spot paint the chip marks. It was a lot of agony to go through the purchase and I will never recommend anyone to buy from this dealership. It was not worth buying from this place.

Horrible experience. Like others, this is the 2nd car I bought From Hobbs. First one was 7 years ago and I had no problems. This time its clear customer service has gone downhill. From Ashley, the sale rep telling me I would get an insurance discount with PULSE (YOU do not GET ANY DISCOUNTS -- false advertising), to her forgetting to meet me for a service appt and me being 3 hours late for work, to my taking the van back twice for paint repairs (paint chip and RUST UNDERNEATH, A WEEK AFTER I HAD IT) , NO ONE THERE COMMUNICATES WITH EACH OTHER. The first time my car went back, I was provided with a rental...because they needed my car for over 7 days. Picked up it up to find only one area was repaired, not the other and the "detailing" they promised me was not done. They talked me into bringing it back...another rental for 7 days. I had to call the body shop they take cars to to find out if it was done. On the 7th day, the body shop returned it to Hobbs at 10 am. I contacted Ashley and told her i would be there at 4:30 pm to get it. Got there, repairs were done this time, but no detailing -- after it sat there for 6.5 hours -- no one bothered to check. I was livid. They wanted me to bring the car back AGAIN. After missing too much work BECAUSE I BOUGHT A NEW VAN, I refused. Greg Hobbs called me -- guess I was supposed to be impressed -- I wasnt. He was very arrogant, insisting his crew was top notch. Yes, so much for the "for the people" campaign. After a week my daughter received numerous messages from Tom Delaney regarding completing the detailing. As she works during the day and doesnt have her cell on at all; she asked me to call. I did left a message and asked him to call me back, as I am the one that has the van. That was 6 days ago -- no call back. They will promise you everything, but will not back it up. My friend wanted to replace her 5 year old CRV that she bought at Hobbs years ago with my recommendation. After my experience this time, she wont go there. Funny, when you start telling people, many people have had similar experiences. I wish those people would post reviews. Greg Hobbs lives in his own wonderful little bubble. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HOBBS, I WOULD NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM AGAIN. MY WISH IS THEYD BUY THE VAN BACK AND I WOULD BUY ANOTHER AT HONDA OF KENOSHA. I WILL NEVER TAKE A CAR FOR SERVICE TO HOBBS OR ADVISE ANYONE TO GO THERE. Buyer beware.
