Worst experience ever. Just like everyone else we are looking for a deal with low miles. I had found a 2011 Chevy Cruz online and it was essentially listed at $8000 which isnt awful, I know. I was from 2 hours away and drove to Milwaukee to check it out. However we took it for a test drive and there was a slight noise in the engine, I was guessing it was from the direct intake engine type (not super familiar with them), so I asked about it and the sales rep said, "You are just supposed to buy the car, I have been selling cars for a lot of years and no one have ever asked me questions like this. You are supposed to just buy it." I had elaborated to him that you dont just buy things like this and hope for the best and you have to do research and make sure that you are making a good purchase. He nodded and said, "first you must really want it and we can talk about price but I wont be able to go down much." I had stated I will take it and lets talk about price. He then took us to his office and without even making an offer took $110 off the original price and said that "he would make our time coming down there." I had rejected the offer and stated $7500. He laughed and left for about 10 Minutes and came back. I was in no rush because I know how car dealers can be. He said he can go to $7800. We said how about $7600. As we sat there, there was a picture frame flipping through pictures on his desk of his in ground pool and essentially perfect life per say and he comes back and says that he cant do that because the car is worth $10,400. I had told him unfortunately I dont know where he got that number from the there is no way that the car is worth that much and I had explained to him that the bank apprised it at $9300 and he said "then you know it is a deal already." I agreed and said yes for $7700 we will take it today. He had said "Thats only another $100 why are you making it such a big deal?" My response was, "If it isnt a big deal then why cant you drop it the $100 because I can see *pointing at the picture frame* that you also push for that extra money." He freaked out and said that he works 6 days a week to afford that and I stated that my other half, who was buying the car, works 7 because Military and his civilian job, and that we also work hard for our money. It became a childish battle with a 60+ year old man. We decided to leave because it was just not an environment you want to buy a car from. He had someone to come in to talk to us to see if there was anything else we needed AFTER we decided we are leaving and I never wanted to get out of a place so bad in my life. We ended up buying closed to home and found the same car 3 years newer and 45,000 less miles for what that car was "worth". Dont ever get stuck buying something you dont want from rude people. He ended up calling me, leaving me a voice mail, and texting me the next day stating that he would take $7700. Unfortunately I stick to my word as much as they stuck to theirs. WE DID NOT BUY! If you are reading this and my story I hope you either take this into consideration or have a better time!

absolutely horrible service from service writer Jason M Schmidtke. He seemed to not care about my problem at all guessing seeing helping me didnt involve a profit to increases his sales/commission to help his salary and found no profit in helping my business in re programming a computer/tech-em they sold me that had already been paid to have programmed and came up with two codes after driving it. they also had written on a work order that i had a ratchet noise coming from the transmission. the transmission was just rebuilt and in fact there was no noise from the trans but was coming from the blend doors for ac in the dash of the vehicle. when i told my customer about this they freaked out until we diagnosed it correctly at which point the customer stated he knew about the ratchet noise from the blend doors for a long time. when our tech asked the tech that worked on the car about it, he stated that he never said he heard a ratchet noise because he never even drove the vehicle which even verifies due the invoice showing the same miles that the vehicle was dropped off with. Jason acted as if he owned the business and said he wasnt responsible for gm parts being bad even through its a gm dealership and they repair and sell their products. the first parts department guy I talked to when first trying to get my part replaced after diagnosing it to be faulty was also short and dismissive like he wanted to make things hard and difficult for me to get this accomplished.. unless you spend big money with them and have all work done by them. they treat you like a no body. theyre dismissive and unwilling to accommodate for faulty equipment they sold my establishment stating they did not diagnose it. although they had me write a 2 page letter on why its bad and how many miles was on it and two codes that are directly related to a faulty tech-em etc just in order to replace it. so it was justified after my letter that its faulty but they would NOT help with the price to reprogram it AGAIN. theres a lot of nice people that work there but unfortunately even owning a business and buying parts from them frequently i happened to deal with people who wanted nothing to do with helping me make things right. i told him that this was not nice and he said, its not about being nice its business.. i will continue to contact the bbb on the rude treatment and miss diagnosing and improper dealing with our company on getting proper care. i told him i didnt want anything for free and was willing to pay but they still would not work with me and when i told him i was going to seek further action ie: bbb etc he laughed and said go ahead with a smerky attitude like he talked to me the entire time. constantly asking me if i was finished when talking as if what i was saying needed to end for he could talk. Ive worked at hall Volkswagen and Mazda in Brookfield with great repore and this would have never been accepted for proper handling at their establishment . i will not stop and will continue to seek further action with the bbb solely fro the rudeness of service writer Jason Schmidtke

The customer service of the auto body shop is unbelievably poor. My car was hit in a parking lot so I brought it to the dealer I bought it from to ensure it had a guarantee on the repairs. Griffin had my car for 25 days the first time I brought it in. In those twenty five days they never once called me. I called about once a week where I was actually able to talk to someone, messages left were not returned in the 3-4 days Id wait for a response. Every time I spoke with Griffin I was told repair work would be done in two days. The third time I spoke to someone (18 days in) I was finally told they had begun on it the day before and again was told it would be done in two days. As far as I am aware it was completed on the 25th day, however, they did not actually call when my car was finished, I was notified when I called to check the status. The quality of the work done was very poor. Items that the insurance company had requested be fixed Griffin charged for but were not fixed if they were minor, Im not sure if this was in hopes that I wouldnt notice them or that they truly overlooked them. Additionally, my car was returned to me with paint damage that was not there before and every one of the newly painted panels was obviously scratched or chipped. Pieces that were removed were not appropriately put back together and white wax everywhere that was very noticeable and would not come off. In addition to the poor quality of the work, many items I requested be looked at were not. I gave Tyler a list of 4-5 things to look at and when I picked up my car he lied to me about having checked them. They only admitted to "being confused about which car I was talking about" when I called back to complain that they the issues I was having were clearly not addressed. I ended up having to bring my car back a second time to get some of these items fixed!but several were simply ignored no matter how many times I asked they be looked at. I also paid an additional $80 to get the alignment straightened after Dave said that although my car was hit hard enough to be moved to the side a full six feet-while parked-the alignment was not affected by the impact. Within two minutes of picking up my car it was very clear the alignment had not been fixed as the car still pulled violently to the left. It has been more than two weeks since I picked up my car for the second time and issues continue to persist, I also still have not received the receipt from the second visit. When I followed up I was assured would be mailed and emailed within days, more than two weeks late Ive received nothing. I have been going exclusively to this dealership since I bought the car almost two years ago because the car salesman was so great and the service shop had been fantastic even when issues arise, but my experience with Tyler and Dave in auto body was so poor I will not be returning.
