Do not waste your time! I purchased cabinets and molding from the Haltom location recently; my contractor was about to put the molding over the cabinets, when he noticed how badly it looked. I called and spoke to the manager, Tom, at the Haltom city location, whom was very unwilling to help and unfriendly. I trusted these people to order and design my kitchen cabinets, now they will not hold responsiblity for poor design and I am stuck with over $300.00 worth of product that is unusable! They will not refund or take it back without charging me; I just spent over $4,000 at this place and they will not help me out! The manager said he did not care that he was going to lose mine and my contractors business! What kind of business are they running? Its a shame that they do not care about their customers!

Excellent place to find windows, doors, and other quality building materials at half the price as big box stores. Was in the Haltom City store this morning looking for french exterior doors. Ronn was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me options and helped me get the doors I wanted. I wanted insulated glass with blinds inside, but the unit I found didnt have the blinds. He told me he could switch them out for not much more...and, that made it a perfect find! Ive shopped here since before they moved the old store from the other side of Carson Street. It is a great bargain center and a very useful resource for do-it-yourselfers who want to save money on their rennovation.

Im all for the scratch and dent discount concept that this store uses, but that is not a free ticket for them to sell misrepresented merchandise. I bought a $700 double door with glass and when installed found that below the protective film on the glass one door had beveled glass and the other had plain glass. Yes the door is already installed. The manager was a very defensive man who was not interested in making good on the product, and even went so far as to imply that I was lying about the glass to garner some type of discount. I will not be purchasing from this store any more and recommend others do the same to prevent any costly traps.

I hate having to shop for stuff to do repairs on my house but this trip was a lot less painful than I thought it would be. Thanks to Ana the cashier up front, it was actually pleasant. After telling her what I had planned to do, she made some very helpful suggestions. Apparently, I was forgetting most of what I needed. If it werent for her, I would have ended up making about three or four trips. I recommend you stop by with them if you need anything they have. If the rest of the cashiers are anything like Ana, youll be well taken care of. Especially if youre like me and have no idea what youre doing.

Called store looking for allur flooring.a lady answered seemed not to know what I was talking about.She put me on hold. Then this Arab sound guy got on the phone who could hardly speak english.he babeled something basically saying they didnt have that kind of floor which is most common laminate floor btw.i was very turned off with the foreigner. Not racist but dam cant you speak english if your a manager? Wont shop there they seemed not very willing to assist me. So no yee haa there just hamburger hamburger. thought good ole country folks ran store. Not.

I have purchased majority of my home supplies from here. I purchased three doors for $199 apiece, went back in to purchase two more and the price had been marked up $40. You could clearly see where they spray-painted over the $199 and it was still readable. Spoke with manager and he would not match the price of the recently bought doors. I was also in there last week looking to purchase $3000 worth of cabinets. I will look for that elsewhere now.

Have been here numerous times and theyve always had great deals. This last visit on 8/23/16 we sat down with Doug Cates, one of their kitchen designers about helping us order all the cabinetry we needed for our kitchen re-do. He patiently went over our measurements, helped us pick out the exact cabinets we wanted and got us the best price around. HIGHLY recommend this store and make sure you speak with Doug if you have ANY kitchen questions.

Builders Surplus has great deals on some incredible items! We have purchased many things from here for several house remodels. If you cant find what you are looking for, definitely ask them, because they can often find it. If you go, plan some extra time on your first visit. They offer so much that you could easily become overwhelmed. After that first visit, you will have a good idea what is offered, and what to get on future visits.

Jody and JD were excellent in their attention and customer service as we noticed JD could help us pick out a door and give us all pertinent information , but yet still direct and help the other employees to put together another new large Iron door as well as help out the counter people. JD was very attentive, ready to assist, cheerful personality. I purchased trim. I drive a small vehicle and had asked him to cut the trim in half. After he had cut it, I realized I needed it cut down to smaller lengths. He asked if the sizes were good after the second time he cut - before we walked up to the register. Moriah at the register, is a sweet young lady, ready to assist.
