I went to seconds and surplus today at lunch to buy 400 of base and cove boards. I also anticipated ordering cabinets for a 22 x 15 kitchen. I have already ripped out my old kitchen and was hoping to get it done today. Upon arriving Colby greeted me quickly and handed me his card... I was told he would be right back to make sure I had everything I needed... I assume giving me the card was his try to collect a commission, but since he never came back (over an hour in the store) I wasnt even able to purchase my boards. We sat looking at cabinets in the kitchen area for a good 30-45 min while the cannot girls sat with the glass door to their office closed... They were shopping online for bathing suites or underwear, periodically peering at me through the corners of their eyes to see if I had left yet. Along comes a wealthy looking woman and up jumps the cannot girl and runs to her to see if there is anything she can do... The whole time me and my pregnant wife are being ignored. I dont know if it was my sweat shirt(I was working on my kitchen already) that made her think I didnt have any money to spend but I was prepared to spend way more than the woman she was helping. Finally after being ignored for nearly an hour and half we left with absolutally nothing even though we knew exactly what we wanted.... The prices are decent so if u decide to go just put on something at least business casual and maybe youll get some service from the staff.

I would recommend using Second & Surplus Design team for any cabinet in a home or office. In 2012 and 2013 Jennifer helped me design 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen remodel. After 4 years I don’t say I wish I didn’t this or that. I’m 200% satisfied. I put lots of time into thinking about the layout and how each cabinet and drawer would be used. Then Jennifer asked me to take inventory of the kitchen items and identify the cabinet or drawer where each item would be stored. I was not pleased to do this process but today I’m glad I made the effort. From this exercise we refined the layout of the kitchen. Jennifer paid attention to every detail to insure a fantastic looking kitchen and bathrooms that I will enjoy forever.

Great prices on building materials for new construction or remodel projects. Love the kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, sinks, and tile we ordered. The only complaint I can make is that one of the tile manufacturers wasnt aware the order had been placed through Seconds & Surplus. We had to drive about 45 minutes away three different times because the order slipped through the cracks. Overall, lovely experience shopping there and the sales associates are very friendly and helpful.

On Sunday, April 9th, we went to Seconds and Surplus and met with JR. He saw us looking rather confused in the plumbing section and came right up to us to offer his assistance. JR had sooooo much information, it was terrific! He helped us with toilets, shower panels, glass barn door enclosures for the shower, and both interior and exterior doors! He was very thoughtful and extremely helpful, we will definitely go there again.

I shopped a lot for cabinets and counter-top. I could not find anyone who could beat Seconds & Surplus. Quality, price everything. Jennifer at the Regal Row store designed our kitchen. A service that Seconds offers for no additional cost. She is AWESOME. She loves what she does and it shows. Not only is she amazing at what she does, but so much fun and sweet to work with. This so far has been a wonderful experience.

The folks at S&S have been awesome to work with on our latest house. We gutted the place to the studs, so we needed just about everything from kitchen cabinets (custom designed in-house by one of their designers) to doors, vanities, showers, tile, etc. My sincere "Thanks" to everyone there from the store manager, to the guys who are kind enough to load/unload this old mans truck!

Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Do your homework if you want to save some money. Dont buy seconds for roofing, decking or lumber. too important. The doors, windows, tubs, toilets, paint, flooring and other stuff can be a good deal if you do your homework. Staff is actually nice and helpful. Ill go back.
