More saving? More doing? I felt like I was doing "More Spending. More Nothing." Customer service was horrible. The Employee was trying to over rule manager because he felt that the years of experience he had working construction were enough for him to be a PRO on everything. Its nothing to brag about but I think I know when Im following instructions on a manual right or wrong, especially when the project Im working on is $1000 or more for a shed. Makes it harder on customers to try and solve the problems on products that Home Depot supply come with factory errors. Frank (manager??), really unprofessional allowing your crew to talk to a customer specially a lady with such disrespect, getting to the point where you are telling us to shut up, I would have a good talk to Randy about that. Would never recommend this particular store to anyone.

We visited the store because we purchased light fixtures online from home depot. Long story short, we went to the returns counter and the older middle aged woman there has zero customer service skills. She almost instantly got upset and aggravated. Home depot was trying to short me $40 from my return amount. The managers that came to assist were also rude, lacked professionalism, they dont know how to speak to customers. It got to the point where 4-5 different employees were huddled around the register and EVERYONE walking by kept staring at us. I went into the store with intention of returning damaged items and then buy more items aka spend more money at home depot. Instead, ive had the worst customer service experience at this store. I would rather drive into Dallas than to spend my money at this store.

Paint was rude and way understaffed. Today there was a gentleman who walked up and ask for two different colors of paint in the small cans. He walked away , and they continued to work on his order while five other customers were waiting on paint. For some reason it took two people to work on this one order . The cherry on top was after my long wait , the man had still not returned for his paint . I waited over an hour just to get a gallon and a sample of paint. When I got up there the man with the ponytail was very rude because I was not savvy on the different paint for Behr products. I was so glad to get out of there. Definitely different than what Im used to from this Home Depot.

On my way to the plumbing department, I crossed paths with three employees working other departments (paint, hardware, and appliances). Each of them not only made eye contact (OMG), but greeted me and asked how (not if) they could help. I needed a piece for my shower faucet and discovered there are dozens of types. A worker (Mike?) finished with another customer, found out what I needed, and immediately walked to the shelf and got it. He then asked if I had a special tool needed to replace it (who knew?) and walked me to that. With the self-service checkout, I was in and out of the store in less than 15 minutes. What a great place.

Ive never had a bad experience here. In fact, quite the opposite. My husband and I recently bought a house in the area. As we were renovating, painting, fixing, etc. we made many trips to Home Depot and experienced great customer service every time. We went back a couple of weeks ago to buy supplies to work in our yard and to our surprise one of the employees remembered us and asked us about our projects. When we do have questions the employees have answered them thoroughly. My parents were visiting one weekend and noticed a big difference in the customer service at our Home Depot compared to other stores they had been in.

We walked around for 20 minutes trying to find someone in appliances. One man was obviously ready to clock out and just said go to the desks and find someone. The next person, I think a janitor, called for help and got no response and all he could say was sorry. He put forth no more effort to guide us to someone that could help. We had to walk back to the front to customer service where we saw one employee eating while chatting with 2 other employees. All of this and Im PREGNANT walking around like a fool trying to find someone who has some pride in their job! Next time Ill pay extra at Lowes.

I called in to check on an item to see if it was in stock. The problem I had was that I got hung up on three times. The fourth time I called I spoke with a manager or claims to be a manager named Gary. I hate to say this but I wouldve wanted to get hung up on instead.. This gentleman was rude and very unprofessional. He had an attitude and very disrespectful. I am livid that home depot would treat people this way. This is a disgrace. You would think home depot would want business and not let customers go to other businesses but in my case I will be. This is completely unacceptable.

Home Depot Lewisville, you should really think about closing on Mondays if you are not going to staff your store to a level where you can serve your customers. I went in looking for one item. 30 minutes later I left and went accross the street to Lowes because no one could find the item. Im sure you had hardware for wooden fences but no one could locate it. It also took quite a while just to find an employee. For your benifit, Lowes didnt do much better however we finally found the latch I was looking for there after another 30 minutes and three trips around their store.

Every time I go is to buy plants. Today is another day that I didnt buyany because 90% of them where half dead. Their plants are always thriving to survive. Why is to hard to water them. I guess I have to start spending my money across the street at Lowes. They do care for their plants. Me as a plant lover, this truly makes me sad because this is what I have seen for the past few months. Shame on you employees or manager, who ever is responsible.

Today (4/5/17) at around 3:45, my brother and I got ten bags of mulch. As we were putting them in our car a Home Depot employee, I think his name was was Deryl, unfortunately I forgot to ask his name and didnt get the best view of his name tag took the initiative and started helping us put all of the bags in the car and he took our cart away for us. It meant a lot that he helped us today.

Paint department is super helpful and some associate all around are very nice. Other than that, if you walk around shopping for materials you get bother by the cashiers asking you for your receipts and acting like your stealing. Its both sad and frustrating that you have to show your receipt 5 times while trying to return and exchange merchandise.

I worked in the paint department at this Home Depot as a kid in the 20th century before Lowes built across the street. I thought that was so unusual at the time. In a short short period of time, I noticed it everywhere. I still shop there today and have always found the employees to be helpful. Sometimes you do have to hunt them down, but rarely.
