The guys at this store are amazing! I just relocated from CO and my pup is scared to death of the hardwood floors in our new rental home. He shakes and refuses to walk on them and hes 50 lbs so I cant carry him from room to room. I called Home Depot in Lewisville and they didnt have the length of carpet I needed to cover the hardwoods abut referred me to The Colony store. I talked with Jimmy to make sure they had the carpet before I drove out there. It was already close to closing but he told me to come on over. I headed out and realized I had to stop for gas. When I got back in my navigation said it was going to be a few minutes after 10 before I could get there so I called Jimmy back and told him I couldnt make it before closing. He said to come on over anyway, hed be there until midnight. I couldnt believe he was still going to help me after close. I got there and he had his manager waiting at the door for me and they got the carpet unrolled and cut for me that night so my pup wouldnt have to wait another day. I appreciated it so much! That is what I call GREAT customer service. They were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend shopping at this Home Depot in The Colony!

We were just in your store shopping for a new commode for our bathroom. We had checked on line first to make sure your store had the brand we were looking for. We did not find that brand on the shelves. Trying to find a salesperson to assist us took over 20 minutes, with 2 people volunteering to get someone to help us. When we finally located 2 sales men who were supposed to know something about plumbing, neither one of them seemed really interested in helping us. "No, we dont have that brand, you are better off using your home computer to order it." If he were any less interested in helping us, dont know what more he could have done to demonstrate that. We havent shopped in a Home Depot for some time because we are generally displeased with the customer service, Lowes does a much better job.

Waited for more than 20 minutes for someone to help me with a toilet purchase. Was told I would receive a call in 48 hours to set up installation. 48 hours later, no call. Back to Customer Service who brushed it off and said someone would call me in the morning. Six days later I received a call to set up the installation (thank goodness I have more than one toilet in the house). Asked for a Saturday install, that will be 5 weeks away!! Said they would be there on Friday and confirm on Thursday. Now late Thursday and no call. Getting tired to carrying this toilet around in the back seat of my car waiting to hear from them.

Purchased 13 of wire cable earlier to prevent sag in 12 iron gate. Got home. Got tools ready. Only had 11 of cable. Paid for 13. Back to HD. CS counter. Paid for 13. Only got 11. Sorry. Thats a cut item. We cant do anything. You have to find who cut it. Go to hardware. Man is gone. Hopefully back to tape measure school. Dont make me call 911 and report a robbery over $1.16! Man from building materials scratches head. See associate that knows me. Solved problem. Worst CS I have ever seen. Idiots.

Pretty poor customer service in this location. Had to wait at the paint desk for over 15 minutes and 3 pages just to get someone to come help me. Other orange aprons mulling about not even acknowledging that they walked past me more than once and saw that I hadnt been helped yet. Finally, an employee without an apron on walks up and tells me hell help me in a few minutes. Pretty poor experience compared to other competitors near by.

The phone service is horrible. I called the store three times in a row to ask if they had a 5# CO2 tank in stock. I was put on hold each time, and noone answered the phone. I hung up after waiting on hold for 20 minutes each time. Every time I called, the store clerk told me, "Im sory that noone answered your call, let me find someone for you" and put me on hold. I am never shopping here.

Was just in to buy some wood to be cut for karate boards. Ive bought several boards and had them cut into 12" pieces and have NEVER been charged for the cuts. Today they wanted to charge me $1.00 a cut - so after I spent $30 on the board it would have been another $12 for the cuts. Nope!! I will go to the other Home Depot locations where customer service comes first. Jerks.

I walk in with a paint lid I bought from HD 2 years ago. The morons in the paint dept tell me "the dont make it anymore" and sell me something the same color but NOT THE SAME SHEEN so it DOES NOT MATCH. Sure enough at the HD WEBSITE they in fact DO MAKE THE PAINT!!!!! Ill never buy paint at Home Dumb@rss again. Complete morons!

They worked me over on installing an engineered wood floor. After they ripped up my carpet they told me the floor wasnt level and they had to level it for an exra $500 - would not continue working unless I agreed. We compromised at $250, but that was extremely high handed.
