My experience was not with PetSmart but with Banfield. However, being in the same location I feel as if the experience reflects extremely bad on PetSmart. Following is my encounter: I had set up an Appointment early in the week with Laura to see my dog, Bow. Bow had been limping with his front left paw for several days. I had been giving him an 81 mg Aspirin but it didn’t seem to help. At first Laura was going to see if the Dr would call in Rimadyl. She called me back and said that unfortunately the medication was for pets only and could not be called into a human pharmacy. It is a 45 minute drive for me, so Laura suggested an appointment. She set up an appointment for Saturday, 05/30/2015 at 1PM. However if Bow needed x-rays I would have to leave him for a couple of hours. I said that would be fine. I received a reminder call from a young man, I did not get his name, on Friday. He said I was to drop off Bow. When I told him no, that I was to see the Dr and then if Bow needed x-rays he would be left. I agreed and said yes upon arrival I would be put into a room, the comprehensive examine would be done and if Bow needed x-rays I would be leaving him. etc.........

We waited over 20 minutes to speak to the manager. Once she was finally available she would not give us the time of day to have any sort of discussion with her. She scoffed at myself and my associate. We simply asked to leave dog treats at the grooming area with our business cards attached. She rudely said, "We dont do that" and walked away. I completely understand policies, however what I do not understand is her complete disregard for customers. Her lack of customer service has turned both myself and my entire staff off from your company. I will no longer donate anything to your company nor step foot to spend a single dollar of my hard earned money to someone who has such a lack of respect and integrity. SUCH A SHAME. Additional training in customer service may be necessary so that you do not continue to loose life long customers such as myself.

I took my Siberian Husky to this location to be groomed on June 17th. They had my dog for over three hours, called to tell me it would be "about another 45 minutes", and never called me again. I was wandering around the store for about an hour waiting for another call, when the woman who was grooming my dog walked out of the grooming center, and right past me. Apparently on break, or leaving for the day. I went in and asked if my dog was ready. She was, and I was then asked to pay before picking up my dog. Eventually, five hours later, they bring me my dog, and she looks awful! Im fairly certain the groomer gave up half way through shaving her. Her stomach and legs are ragged and uneven, and there was no tapering into the fur on her head. She looks like a sad, mangy circus lion. I will absolutely never go to PetSmart again.

My experience at ordering online with PetSmart was very disheartening. First of all it picked a store for my favorite in a state I hadnt been in in 25 years and when I tried to go to the local store it would not let me select it as my favorite. The app also would not let me enter my credit card data. Secondly when I search for an item it did give me the item but a whole bunch of others that I had to Wade through in order to get to the item I wanted to select. Since I am disabled from a Mobility standpoint being able to order online is important to me however I will never use this app again and I would not recommend it to anyone. I would however like to state that I do like PetSmart and the selection that you have in the store and the people that work there and I appreciate that.

So I just saw the handiwork that one of your ill trained groomers gave to a small dog in photos and I can say only one thing. Whomever you are you should be truly ashamed of yourself, especially to say the dog did it them self! The photos I saw would suggest you purposely abused that poor little thing or you clearly have no freaking clue how to groom without taking flesh off of animals. The WOUNDS and yes I SAID WOUNDS you gave that poor thing suggests that you need to stay COMPLETELY away from any type of grooming profession for your own sake because if that would have been my dog I would be sitting in jail right now and I think you know why. I hope they sue your a***s off.

I took my dog in to get a Pawdicure plus. The woman that worked on him had the collar on too tight and too high and you could see it was obviously hurting him and he was straining to keep his head high enough not to choke. They also did not give all the services that a pawdicure plus has but charged me the full amount. He did not get his teeth brushed or freshened, no "cologne spary" and I had to ask her for a bandana. All these things say its included. I would have told her to do it all but I didnt notice till I was half way home and he liked my face he still smelled like a dog. Very dissappinted in the service and will not be returning for grooming.

After my dog came home from pet smart grooming he has had no energy and wont stop shaking (Which I have never seen him shaky). They also cut a big chunk on his private area that has made him not be able to sleep or eat and he has only cried/whimpered for the past 2 days. Must i mention he is still only a puppy and this has altered his entire personality. This incident and his new behaviors only have me wondering "What did they do to him?!". **I am not one to write reviews and never have but my dog is like a child to me and I know many others feel the same. So I highly suggest you do not take your animals there!

Good pet products store. There is a decent variety of cat collars, cat toys, litter, and a ton of different food options. The same goes for dogs and fish. All of the cats available for adoption here are from the local Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. The Banfield Pet Hospital inside sometimes has a promotion online for new patients to receive a free first veterinary visit (aside from the cost of any vaccines and treatments you decide to have administered). They also have grooming available for dogs, but dont do any shaving for cats.

Prices are great if you have a VIP the staff seems to know a lot but sometimes they get into your business and will drive you insane and tries to get you buy stuff you dont really need. If your plaining on getting stuff for a new addition your better make sure you know what you getting so you dont have to really ask for help all that much. But other wise I go here all the time they have a large selection of all things just not live plants.
