we go there frequently ( as we live here in westlake ) for both grooming services ( two medium size dogs ), and animal supplies ( food, toys, treats ). we have generally always had good experiences ( given that no store is perfect, and customer service is what it is today ). but I wanted to especially point out the exceptional service we got today. I really wish I knew the groomers name ( very courteous and helpful young lady ). called 1st thing this am as our younger pup got skunked right in the head (silly, silly dog). the groomer told me we could bring her right in this morning to get a thorough bath ( skunk treatement ). she called just about an hour later ( as she had stated ) to let me know our dog was finished. and while there was still a bit of skunk on her, it was SUBSTANTIALLY better (tolerable ever). I just wanted to commend this young lady for her hard work, and dedication to customers (and their furry friends). .....btw...we have also adopted two rescue cats ( from local shelters ) from this store, and had very good experiences also. lastly, I would like to add. this store has occassionally had pet clinics ( shots, etc. ) which was a very good experiences. we would strongly recommend this store, and the friendly staff.

A Private User

I have been buying my animals food and supplies here for a couple months without any problems. Today I went in to get their food and I saw a bin with some nice rope toys. On the outside of the bin there was a bunch of clearance tags so I spent a while going threw it and picked out 3. I went to check out and was told they were not on clearance, so I showed the girl where they were and I was told the marked ones were on clearance (there was no marked ones). I spoke to the manager and he told me his employees marked them wrong and there was nothing he would do. I thought it was very poor customer service.

Ive been going to PSP for a long time and they always have reasonable prices. The front staff is usually very friendly. Sometimes you get unwanted opinions on the food youre buying from one of the guys that stocks the shelves but besides that it is a good location. I have never noticed that they dont take care of the animals as another person stated in their review. I used to use their grooming services and that was always a good experience.

Horrible establishment. Stopped by on a whim to look at fish and they had a Leopard Gecko in a cage that was emaciated beyond belief. DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR ANIMALS.
