Top of the line and unusual pet products like collars with studded doggie foot prints. I was amazed at the quality of assorted doggy dining dishes in the latest colors from pink and green polka dots to umber and washed sienna. If youre training a new puppy they carry Niliodor a product to clean up potty accidents. Niliodor will take out the scent of urine from any animal including humans. It works biologically very amazing. We have used it for years on rabbit urine and difficult to train Chihuahuas on floors to clothing it will descent anything. While you are there look at the frontline. They have the cheapest price around on flea products that really work. Look at the Natures Balance dog food. They are the only place that carries this brand of single protein dog food for allergy prone dogs. We used it and it cleared up our scratching dog in 2 months after the vet diagnosed allergies and suggested a single source protein dog food. Specialty is the right description of this store.

I and staying in Waynesville for a week or so, and went here today to get the taste of the wild lamb food for my dog. 3 employees greeted me politely and asked if they could help. I found the food and then asked if my dog could be groomed before next week. I had a phone call before I was back at my camper offering to do it immediately if I could return. then they offered the next morning which conflicted with my schedule so I asked for Friday and she said what time is good for me and we set up a 10:00 am. very nice very obliging . The store was clean and inviting. they and so many different items. I think those negative opinions were from competitors. Lovely store. I will try to review after my shiz-tsu is groomed.

Horrible customer relations. Borderline rude. Stopped here to schedule appt. for our dog. Told man at counter that we are relocating permanently to Waynesville (i.e. will be repeat customers) and inquired re: price & availability. When we asked for next appt. date, was told "there are none". I asked "none ever?". Answer, "there are no future appts. we will take your name/number and call if we have cancellation". This was said with a facial expression that was borderline hostile and a tone of voice that was nasty. Needless to say, we will NOT be a customer. EVER. And I highly recommend anyone new to the area AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs!

We are local and my mother has shopped here for years. Yesterday, I stopped by for the first time to look at some supplies for our new lab puppy. The gentleman that helped us was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable about the products they carry. We picked a holistic, grain free food based on his recommendation and our dog absolutely loves it. I was thrilled with my first time experience here and will definitely be a repeat customers. I couldnt have asked for better customer service. Keep up the good work!

I love how there is always someone available to answer my questions and help me find what Im looking for. My dogs like the treats from the Dog House so much better than the crap I buy at PetSmart. I think the brands are better and they do have a bigger selection of all natural treats. The grooming seems a little over-priced so I have not used that service. Only complaint is that hours are limited so they are closed at times when it would be most convenient to go.

This business is under new ownership, and has improved dramatically. They carry a broad selection of premium dog and cat foods, and treats. They also have an excellent selection of supplements. Their retail goods are carefully thought out, and in the grooming area they take the time to calm nervous dogs and ensure their well-being. Staff is knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and accommodating. The premises are clean and welcoming. I love this place!

Although this store has unique items the management in this store is extremely rude to the customers. The size of an item that could only be determined by opening the package was not able to be returned because of their unfriendly item return policy. Management could have explained this to us before purchasing the item or could have not been rude in telling us no. Go to Asheville before coming to this establishment.

Their knowledge of the products they carry has always been a great help. We have always have received personalized service from owners and employees. I have done business with them for many years and wouldnt go elsewhere. Big box stores never could compete with the service we have received.

Hateful on the phone when asked basic information. All I wanted was hours of operation, not a kidney. You just lost a potential customer and the town isnt that big.
