Mark is the best!! Its A NO BULLSH*T place to go! I have been looking for a used car to replace my Acura MDX lease, so I can finish school. I had a bad experience the day before at an unrelated Volvo dealer in Oak Park, and was hesitant to waste another two hours drive to here. The vehicle I wanted didnt have pictures uploaded and since used luxury cars are going quick I called and Mark answered. Within 5 minutes, he had called me a few times. Once to tell me the car was available still, again to tell me nobody had an appointment to look at it (so I didnt waste a drive there) and within that time, managed to take pictures with his phone for me and sent those, as well as saying the car smelled clean because I was worried a used car would smell like a dog or something ect. He mentioned anything cosmetically wrong which was one thing. And I felt so comfortable already with his "service" and the details he was giving me! Though he was also helping another guest I felt like he gave me 100% of his attention. I wouldnt have even known he was helping somebody else but I saw it lol. The business manager which handled the paperwork signing and loan ect was Chris. He was great too! I was a little attached to my car and was sort of sad but super excited to purchase my first Volvo. He made me laugh immediately and was very pleasant to talk to and was very straight forward with things. I am so glad I decided to just call in the first place and got Mark. Every sales person was friendly and offered me refreshments and made sure I was taken care of. They all seem genuine-which would sound weird for a regular basic dealer, but not weird because they dont really have to "sell" these cars to you, because theyre not basic average cars. They are well built quality that can last forever. They dont have to be friendly and talkative because theyre selling something above average, they dont need to butter you up because youre the one who walked in to a prestigious dealership to buy something great. They are great people and are genuine in conversations and getting to know you. This place is the best experience Ive ever had.

It has been such a downgrade coming from McGrath Lexus. There, you were treated like royalty and we NEVER ran into any issues the two years we had our lexus. We have had our Land Rover for a little over a year now and each time we have had to deal with Howard Orloff, the service has been extremely terrible. They are an absolute joke. Their "convenience" shuttle service is anything but convenient. My husband called to have them pick him up from his office at 5 and the driver called him at 4:45pm saying he was downstairs and there were other people in the van so he needed to hurry. Are you kidding me?? Plus, both times we have dropped our car off in the morning we have had to wait 25+ minutes for a van to come and take us to work. We have already had to take our LR2 in for service twice and both times they did not have the part they needed to fix our car. Therefore we had to bring it in an ADDITIONAL two times. Our car would not start tonight and my husband called the dealership at 7pm, apparently it was 7:01pm at their office, therefore NO ONE was available to help us. After asking the secretary if she could track someone down to answer a quick question she said no. My husband then called another dealer and they were happy to help (even though they were closed). They got in touch with someone that is on their way out as we speak to come take a look at our car. BUY ELSEWHERE! Even if you are in the city, it will be worth the trip to venture outside the city to another dealer. Absolute idiots run that place.

Not only did I have one good experience at Howard Orloff Volvo in 2015, but I had two. First, my initial purchase I was helped by James Pittman and Bill Grzesinski who were very patient with me during my first ever car purchase. They were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their inventory. They walked me through the whole process and showed me all of the different options they had. Unfortunately, my first car was totaled in an accident, but luckily the great people at Howard Orloff Volvo were there to help. This time, in addition to James and Bill, Corey York walked me through the great selection at Howard Orloff Volvo. As I was dealing with my car insurance from the accident, Corey was very helpful throughout the way on timing with insurance payments and getting me into a new car. He was very patient, friendly and provided great insight into what I should look for in a car. With both purchases, any initial maintenance I wanted was immediately performed by the great professionals at Howard Orloff Volvo. I would highly suggest checking out Howard Orloff Volvo for your next car purchase and ask for Bill, James or Corey, youll be in great hands.

This place is a joke. In six months my range rover was there 12 times to fix a water leaks. all they kept doing was fixing what was damaged and not the source of the problem. In the process the trashed my leather seats, They attempted to fix it by painting over the damage. When confronted they said they would replace the leather but when it came time to do that they refused and said all they will do is repaint over there handy work again with a color that matches better. Not to mention on two different occasions items were stolen out of the vehicle. They are so unprofessional , they have forgotten about my truck being there and it sat for a week , another time they lost the truck and I actually had to go there and found it in the used car sales lot. A exterior trim piece kept coming loose and they told me it was designed that way so that when offroad it wouldnt get damaged, I ended up going to another dealer to get it fixed. Everytime I went there when I picked up the truck there was more wrong then when I dropped it off, I have given up and am living with there damage. I wish landrover would step up and make it right.

I have brought my Range Rover Sport to the Howard Orloff dealership service for the last 2 years and have consistently received poor service. However, the service has progressively become worse and I have seen a pretty large turnover of the Service Consultants. I am currently working with Paul Walter - beware of him because he is not responsive to customer needs and often does not get back to you with updated information about your vehicle - when you ask him for updates, he constantly makes up excuses to cover up for his irresponsible behavior. The technicians are not trained properly as I have had to bring my car in for service 3-4 times for the same problem - they cant just seem to figure things out. Also, Ive brought my car in for a check of my tires before and 2 times, the technicians have missed seeing nails in the tires until they started to lose air about 1-2 days after the service appointment - can I say careless service or if Im being cynical, did someone "plant" a nail in my tire? Regardless, I would stay far away from Howard Orloff and go to another dealership!
