95% of my time at Ed Martin Honda was, hands down, a 5 star experience. This being my first time purchasing a car through a dealership, I was very wary of the possibility of getting pushed around or taken advantage of, especially because Im a woman and I look a lot younger than I actually am. I was glad when I got Jesse Bailey as a salesman, however, because all the reviews I had read that mentioned him online before deciding to visit Ed Martin Honda had been so positive. Well, he certainly lived up to my expectations. He didn’t try to push me to buy more than I could afford or to opt for features that I had already told him I didn’t need. Instead, he served more as a guide for helping me find the right fit for my wants and needs. He gave me the nicest options first, and as I talked more about the things I didn’t really need, he took me down the line until we found the right fit for me. He seemed kind and good-natured without being superficial or overly slick. My parents went with me, and having experienced many sleazy salesmen themselves over the years, they expressed how pleased they were at the difference having a salesman like Jesse made on the experience. The 5% that really stunk though was dealing with the extremely pushy finance guy at the end. After politely listening to him give his spiel multiple times, we had to tell him 4 or 5 times that we were not interested in purchasing the extended warranty. Finally, after all our no’s, he ended the conversation with a head shake and a passive aggressive guilt-bomb: “It just blows my mind when people don’t do it.” It made the very end of the buying process really unnecessarily unpleasant. Jesse ended the day’s experience for us by taking the time, after all the paperwork had been sorted out, to sit with us in my new car and walk me through programming some of my new cars feature options and learning how to use my new car’s Bluetooth capabilities. He definitely didn’t have to go that extra mile, especially since he’d already gotten my business. So I give Jesse Bailey 5 stars, even if I can’t give the entire experience the same perfect rating.

I have worked with Ed Martin Honda a few times and have not been pleased with their service. Every time I go there I am hoping for a better experience but it just hasnt happened. This last time was for the Airbag recall. We were first told that the part to fix the airbag was already in their shop so we wouldnt need to get a rental, just needed to bring our car back the next morning for a few hours. Then a couple hours later we got a call from Honda saying the part was NOT already in their shop so we would have to get a rental. SOOO the next morning we went back to the shop and dropped off my CRV and picked up a rental car, which I was not happy about because I couldnt get a similar size vehicle to drive, like my CRV. Enterprise was only allowed to give us a car, no crossover or SUV. I was also told by Honda that it would take about a month. it took TWO months. Then when we finally took our car in to fix the airbag they did not do ANYTHING to the car but install the part! No cleaning out the inside of the car or washing the outside. They didnt touch a thing. No effort put into it but to fix the airbag. I thought most car places would take the little extra time and effort to give your car back with a good quick clean. I wish I lived closer to another dealership as living on the eastside this is the only option. But next time i need help with my Honda I will just have to make the drive to some other Honda dealership because this dealership have lost my business for good.

KUDOS and PLATITUDES to *****JEFF STAFFORD***** for EXCELLENT customer service and professionalism. Having bought my first used Honda Accord from Larry Norman (AWESOME person), since retired, I decided to revisit Ed Martin Honda for my next purchase. While looking for another Certified used Honda, I had the opportunity of meeting Jeff Stafford. Being in a dilemma as to whether to buy a Civic or Accord, Jeff explained the differences between all styles of Hondas and their specifications. Jeff has been patient beyond expectations with my indecisiveness and never pushed nor rushed me into making a decision. He treated me as a friend, not just another sales commission. He is always forthcoming with information when I stop by the store and shares any information he has regarding the Certified used cars which have come onto the lot which meet my expectations. After doing much research (over the previous two years) with other Honda dealers and visiting the Certified Used cars websites, I returned to Ed Martin due to the fact that I am treated as a friend, and not just another $ (Dollar Sign). I stopped by yesterday and we went for a test drive in the 2010 Accord and it is dream car. I did not feel any pressure to purchase and was very pleased with how everyone at the Dealership is so friendly and courteous. I made the purchase without any problems and HIGHLY recommend anyone interested in receiving an HONEST deal, FAIR and no HASSLING to visit Ed Martin Honda.

I bought my new Accord here a couple of years ago and had a great experience and decided to give their service department a shot too. So, I drive all the way from Westfield to get both of our cars serviced here and have really gotten to like them especially the service advisor, Redd... Hes great and does an outstanding job. However, the last 2 times with my Accord have been horrible and I may not ever go back. Got my oil changed on my Accord a few months ago, noticed a leak on my garage floor the next day. Took it back, I was told the tech had not done a good job cleaning the bottom of my car after changing the oil and some old oil remained down there on the protective shield which is why it was leaking. Then yesterday, checked my oil and noticed it was overfilled by about a quart!! Took it back today, they took some oil out to correct the oil level; however, now its measuring on the low side on my dipstick. But the more annoying part is that there is oil all over the bottom of the car/engine as well as under the hood... I had to wipe the oil spots off of my engine compartment.... A simple oil change turned into a very sloppy job which I had to go back 2 times and its still not to my satisfaction which is a shame because they worked on my van a couple of weeks ago and did a great job there... How hard is it to get the oil level right and clean after the job? I think Im going to give the dealership closer to my house another shot.....

I have been regularly servicing at Edmartin and the the service advisor, Steven Pedigo is awesome. He is a very good guy, honest, courteous and very professional. He is very knowledgable and explain everything in detail to me. My questions were answered in a satisfactory manner!I feel so happy that Edmartin has service advisors like him and they truly take care of their customers. I wasnt sure about if my front brakes are due for replacement, so I mentioned that to Steve during my last service. He got that checked and told me that the brakes are in good shape and neednt replace at this time and that was the assurance you receive from a reputed service center than some others who want to get every penny out from your pocket! When I was receiving my van after service, I had a good experience with the cashier too. Though she printed the recipt and charged my credit card, she was willing to add one of the service special coupons in their website when I pointed that later. I should have done that before she printed the receipt, my fault. She gladly adjusted the payment to reflect the coupon and I was impressed. I live 25 miles away from Edmartin and I trust them with my vehicle. Thank you for the great service!
