Where do you start with scum like J.D. Byrider? First they will get you approved. Youll gonna pay about 8-10k more then the cars actually worth. You wont EVER find the price of the cars on the car themselves. They say they are hung up inside the office. Ask them where and they will never show you. Heck for Greenwood you cant even see inventory online. Columbus atleast lets you see inventory but of course, no prices. Their job is to get you inside the office, beat you down with paperwork and doing a budget (or what they call a budge, its more of a joke to try and get you into a more expensive car) to where youve spent hours and are just ready to go. By the time its said and done, the car could be 100k and youd buy it just to get the hell out of the place. They will car your references after your late 1 day without ever even attempting to contact you. Thankfully I was able to pay them off after about six months of having the loan. I couldnt imagine dealing with them for 2 years or more. The cars are pretty much junk they get from the auction and turn around and make 2-3 times profit on. Stay far far away from these people. Just for a test sometime go in there and say you want to pay cash for a certain car. Guess what, they wont sell it to you. Why? They can make more money financing and hitting you with any fees. That proves how shady of a dealership they are.

Went to the Greenwood location after a lousy experience at another dealership where I was treated like bad credit cattle. The staff at JDByrider were up front and honest the whole time. There were no nasty surprises, I was treated with respect and professionalism, and the selection was nice. I bought a little Pontiac G6 Coupe because I wanted something sporty. There were a couple of hiccups with the car at the start, but their service department stepped up and took care of the problems immediately at no charge. I would recommend them to anybody who needs transportation and is starting out or starting over like me. And they report to all three credit bureaus monthly so they are helping me rebuild my credit. Yes Im paying more than the car is worth. Thats part of the cost of bad credit. It may not be "fair" but it is a fact of life. Their inexpensive service and two year warranty help offset some of that cost and provide peace of mind to someone who thought he couldnt afford something dependable. If you have income but your credit isnt good enough for a new car, go see these guys--itll be worth your time.

I was on the hunt for a car that I could depend on back in October 2015. Ive had extremely horrible luck with cars that Ive bought off of people and other car lots Being a mother of 2 with my credit not perfect I needed something I could put my kids in and feel safe. Ive never heard anything bad about the company at all my family have even got a few cars from them. I was very very nervous when I done everything. I was very impressed with the help and all the questions I asked they answered everything. Lewis and Joe are amazing. They made sure that I loved the car and that it was in my price budget and put me at ease. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE. Everyone has a different experience with every situation some people have their expectations to high these are used and newer cars. Every car even its is brand new that just came out is going to have recalls and everything else just like a used car. You have to take care of it.

My mother had a car thru here over 15 years ago....it was a very small place then...and at the time i would not have considered the service great...NOW....just going over there recently for their canned food drive....its like night and day...they hv a nice office facility...the waiting area is kid friendly...the staff is SO nice and friendly. And as i was waiting...watching how the staff interacted with the customers....making sure that they had all questions answered before walking out the door...or helping them with their vehicles that needed work done....they did a fantastic job. If i needed to get a car i would come here...ask for Michael Phelps...he is pretty awesome and will help you with all your car buying needs...tell him Jolene sent you. Xoxo

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Many people told me not to go with JD Byrider, but I did anyways. They sale junk cars. Ive had my vehicle 20 days & the radio doesnt work, TV doesnt work, been in for service twice, they claim they dont see any problems. Ive asked for my car fax & auto check 3 times & have yet to receive it. I took it to a dealership & found my car had been wrecked & is a retag. They dont care about the lemon law & said I cant return the vehicle to them unless its repossessed. Now my engine light is on & a transmission sensor is going out. FIND A BETTER DEALERSHIP, ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!!

I was 18 and really needed a car. This place is somewhere to go if you need to establish credit/have very poor credit. This being said the cars are marked way above selling value. The warranty has been great and really helpful. If you need a car but dont have much money or credit this will be okay place to go! The people are helpful and will do everything in their power to help you. Only gave 4 stars due to the mark up of the prices but when you need a car you need a car.

I went in with a budget in mind not to say I didnt go a lil and I do mean a lil bit over but u cant put a price on what u want in life so I set up with Rod and went over all the things in my mind and some things that I research all in all Im leaving to dat with a car that I didnt believe that I could afford so I would like to thank everyone at J.D. Does not honor there agreement. They will tell you one thing and want more. I had spoken with the same person multiple times and he did not have the guts to approach me to tell me they made a mistake but instead had me drive 30mins to to handle their business professionally. I would not recommend dealing with them to a millionaire. Very poor experience. I would rate them with no stars.

GO TO DRIVETIME FIRST Service was good everyone was friendly, but when it came time to sign thats when all the fancy words couldnt hide the numbers, between my down payment and my first 2 payments they where gonna get around 4 grand in a month, try to any way I said no and headed for the door, I suggest everyone try drivetime first!!! Much better cars much better service all around!!

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The company however is not so good. I understand they are a buy here pay here type place but there prices are rediculois, and when you call regarding payments they harass you and get very rude. I honestly would not recommend anyone to the company. But if you do choose to this location is the one to go to they people are very nice and helpful .
