Stop and shop is great but what Im posting my review about is the Western Union section of it and this something that is serious and someone needs to implement some rules and restrictions to certain things are happening there. If you go to stop n shop to send money if there is anyone there that is related to you and is there when ur going to send ur money they should be asked to remove themselves from the area or the vicinity in which you are at the counter. The first thing the employee should ask you when ur going to send money is "do you have any relatives working here at stop n shop?" That way if you do and that relative is in the area of which youre about to deal with ur business then they should be ask to excuse themselves. Not everyone is comfortable with someone from their home being on the presence of you sending ur money to whomever. Not everyone would like other people or relative to know who theyre sending/receiving money to or from and how much theyre sending/receiving. Its very uncomfortable and stop and shop mangers needs to do something about it. If you (stop n shop) already have something in place for this type of behavior Im sorry but its not working. The employees (our relatives) needs to know their places when it comes to these kind of businesses. The same goes for the banking section of stop n shop. People need more privacy and does not need other people in their business!

I shopped today 12/30/14. I noticed that none of the employees seemed happy. No one greeted me or said hi. I asked an employee in the dairy area for help. He just snapped at me with the answer The cashier did not say hi or thank you. I was much nicer to him than he was to me. I have been to Shaws. Why are they so different? Much nicer and friendlier.

Very good customer service. We called to see if they had a specific nut milk in stock. Even though it wasnt on the shelf they checked and found some in the stock room. Then they put aside a case and we picked it up when we got there.

Never more than a couple of lanes.open. slow even by stop n shop standards. I will take my bisiness to Shaws from now on. Also the black lady at service desk is rude to everyone and never smiles. Goodbye for good.

Decent, best option for groceries from Orleans until Ptown. Starbucks in the store. Great deli counter. Produce is acceptable. Some updating would be welcome.
