In 2007, we purchased our kitchen appliances (Bosch and KitchenAid) from Aitoro as part of our kitchen remodel. We asked our salesman, John Pantalena, what he would recommend if his Mother was buying appliances. We were very pleased with the appliance quality and the overall price. For 9+ years we had no problems with any of the appliances. Ten days ago, the refrigerator and freezer developed a problem; we lost cooling in both. I called a local repairman who diagnosed the problem but I was not comfortable with his recommend repair. I then checked with the Aitoro Service manager, Bob, on how to proceed. Bob confirmed that we still had a parts warranty on the sealed system. He advised that based on the problem with the sealed system that the compressor should be replaced. He explained that they would need to look at the refrigerator to confirm the problem. Two days later, Paul came to my home to look at the refrigerator. He confirmed the problem was the loss of freon due to failure of a copper tube. He confirmed the solution was to replace the copper tube and compressor. He advised a 2 to 3 day time frame to get the parts from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the factory was back-ordered on the copper tube but had the compressor. I was able to get the copper tube from an alternate source for $52.00 including two shipping. Paul came back to my home to complete the repair three business days after the initial diagnosis. He replaced the compressor and the copper tube as well as cleaning the area where the compressor was installed. Paul did the work very professionally and answered all of my questions about the repair process. Within 5 hours of the repair, both the refrigerator and freezer were back to their correct operating temperatures. This experience demonstrates the benefits of dealing with a well-established, local business. This experience also demonstrates how Aitoro takes care of its customers after the sale (even after 9 years). The service cost to repair my refrigerator was approximately $460 for labor and the part that I had to purchase. This is far better than spending ~$1300 for a replacement refrigerator. My compliments to Aitoro Appliance for being there to help me, especially Bob and Paul. Highest recommendation to Aitoro for both sales and service!

Six years ago, we purchased a GE Profile refrigerator from Aitoro. The refrigerator was delivered and failed "out of the box"; it never cooled down. I called after 24 hours had elapsed and requested a replacement. I was told "Sorry -- youve got to take it up with G.E. now -- its not our problem." After applying some pressure, they grudgingly agreed to provide us with a replacement. This August, the refrigerator failed completely. We contacted Aitoro and asked for a refrigerator repairperson to come out and have a look. We were told by this individual that the control panel needed to be replaced. We waited for two weeks for the part to come in. After the control panel was replaced, the refrigerator STILL didnt work. I requested another service visit and was told this time that the compressor was broken and that we might as well purchase a new refrigerator since it would be too expensive to replace the compressor. We gave up and decided to purchase another G.E. Profile refrigerator from another appliance shop and reconciled ourselves to throwing our existing refrigerator away. The new appliance salesperson kindly offered to repair, if possible, our existing refrigerator free of charge. He came out to look at it and, within fifteen minutes, had diagnosed the problem. Control panel and compressor are fine; the refrigerator had run out of FREON. He topped up the freon and the refrigerator is now working perfectly. So we spent $450 and waited for weeks with no refrigeration due to what I consider to be a deliberate, premeditated ripoff on Aitoros part. Its well-known that replacing control panels can be lucrative and freon is the first thing that ANY experienced refrigerator repairperson would know to check. I received a partial refund from Aitoro (after waiting for weeks and having to call and bug them to get the check) for the control panel only. I am disgusted with Aitoro, have found their customer service representatives to be apathetic at best (and downright nasty and rude at worst), and will never, ever purchase anything from them again.

Very disappointed with customer service at Aitoro. After purchasing thousands of dollars worth of high end appliances and TVs over the years, the treatment I received after my last purchase is distressing. They do not want to exchange the new Electrolux dryer for one that actually does dry. It was delivered with only air dry function working, no heat. When they did send an Aitoro tech to reprogram it and it now left clothing damp, even with the heat now working, I was informed that this is designed to not dry the clothes but leave it damp. They said they called Electrolux and was told it was styled as an "European" dryer. I asked to either have it fixed to dry the clothing fully or exchange it for an "American" style dryer. The response was NO and I should deal with Electrolux directly; it was now my problem with Electrolux. Aitoro was not willing to check to see if their technician did not set it properly during his service visit. They would not exchange it for me. They will take no responsibility. Im just stuck with this expensive "damper" because it is not a "dryer." Escalating this to one of the owners showed they could not care less about their customers. It is not their problem - it is mine with Electrolux. They sold it but now they will not work to make their customer happy. I had to insist to speak to the Aitoro customer service rep to help me. He said he would set up a visit with another service company to check the settings. The appointment was made for me, I waited for the repairman and no one showed up. After many years of dealing with Aitoro where I did experience good customer service through my salesperson who is no longer there, after this experience I will seek another company that does value its customers and stands behind the products they sell.

Dont shop here, they have horrible customer service. On Wednesday, I purchased a portable Weber grill and requested to have it assembled. I was told by my salesman, Ron Pirro, that I had to pick it up Friday afternoon after 1:00 because they needed to build it. I mentioned that I would like to get it Friday morning because Friday afternoon traffic on 95 is horrendous. He said it couldnt possibly be ready in the morning(and remember this was Wednesday). Well. Friday afternoon rolled around and 95 going north was backed up from Stamford to probably beyond Norwalk. I opted out and decided to go up Saturday. I arrived at the store Saturday afternoon and was directed to the pick area behind the store. Imagine my surprise and dismay when two boxes were delivered to me. Grill unassembled. When I mentioned this to the men who delivered the boxes to me, they said that although it was noted on my sales slip that I wanted it assembled, They hadnt received a note about assembling it. They put the boxes in the back of our car and we took them home. We opened the box containing the grill and found that there is a broken part in it. Had they assembled it as requested and as noted on the sales slip, I wouldnt have to drive back up there to exchange it. I am furious and will never buy anything there again. You shouldnt either.
