We went to Econo Auto Sales and the sales men came across as nice. We went in there Saturday afternoon to look at a Jeep Patriot. The Jeep we were looking at had scratches all over it. We spoke with one of the guys there and he said he knew a guy who would paint it for 400-600 bucks. After consideration we decided to purchase the car and just have it painted. We ended up having to come back on Monday. The guy that worked on Saturday said we would here first thing Monday morning from Brian about financing on the car. Monday morning rolled around and we never heard anything from him. We ended up driving back up to the car lot to see what info they had found on financing. Apparently our applications were misplaced, so nothing had been done. We had to take the financing into our own hands and ended up doing everything. We got the financing straight and came back with the down payment to buy the car. Before we bought the car Brian said he would put new tires on the car as well. Later that day after we had signed all the paperwork, their paint guy came to look at the scratches on the car and he quoted us $1000 to fix it. Of course it was ours now so we had no choice but to pay that. Brian then stated he was ordering the tires and they should be ready to put on Thursday. This was great timing b/c the painter would be done on Thursday. However, Thursday rolled around and Brian was nowhere to be found. Brian left the tires at the car lot and did not have them at a actual place to put them on. My husband took the tires to the place that Brian told him to go and it cost $108 bucks to put them on. Brian said he would pay us back as soon as he came back into town. The day my husband went to collect the money Brian decided he didnt want to pay $108 bucks and said we went to the wrong place to get the tires put on. Brian only gave of $50 and said thats all he was giving us. This car dealership is low class and will cheat you as soon as they get a chance. I wouldnt recommend going to this dealership, save yourself a headache.

I recently purchased an 04 Altima from Econo Auto Sales. Self financed, easy customer, nothing complicated. After messing up my paper work, I was told that I could come back to re do it- probably because the salesman wanted to get to other customers. I came back a week later to sign the corrected paperwork only to find out they forged my signature because they were not sure I would come back in time. They did not accurately record my contact information- they had the wrong phone number (trying to work too quickly and distracted most likely) and the wrong address! I was told that my I license plate and registration would be sent to their office by mail. A month later, I contacted them to check for my plate and reg. because no one contacted me. Apparently, the salesman who worked with me got fired and they had not ordered the plate! I said it was fine, I would keep my old plate from my old car. Everything seemed cool, I just needed my registration. I have been calling for over two months trying to get my registration- over two months! They sent my registration to the wrong address, they told me that they dont have it and there is nothing they can do. And that I will have to go to the DMV and say I lost the registration. The registration I paid for in their office- was not given to me. I am not the type to write reviews and this one took a good amount of time the write. I was patient, I was kind, and I was understanding. This business has really taken advantage of a good customer and I want to make sure everyone knows this before doing business with them!

Terrible. Absolutely awful. This was initially a five star review but Im editing it to reflect what has become a nightmare of an experience. First of all, after driving off the lot, my cars check engine light came on. Turns out they had only cleared the codes long enough for me to buy the car. I couldnt return it because of their as is policy. The car has thousands of dollars worth of work that needs to be done on it which is daunting but in fairness I somewhat expected this kind of treatment from a crappy dealership. Then I went to pay the property tax/registration fees. Turns out, they never filled out the proper paperwork so they never had the legal right to sell it. Which means that I dont legally own this car. This is an inexcusable mistake for a dealership and I am livid that I am stuck with the repercussions of their short-sighted actions. DO NOT GO TO ECONO. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL CON ARTISTS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE THAT DONT KNOW ANY BETTER.

Great service! Jeremy followed up on all my questions. I bought a very rare 2008 Dodge Magnum R/T (red badge) from this dealer. I got a good deal. The car was not perfect, but it was in good overall shape. It had a bit of a computer issue that I had to fix. The passenger side front headlight assembly was badly cracked, but a replacement is nowhere to be found at this moment, so I taped it together. The previous owner put some odd looking wheels on it with the wrong size tires, so after having a specialist remove the locked wheels (no key was found) I promptly installed a set of used stock wheels for the car with the proper size tires. After investing a little bit of money, I believe this car is a good four, four and a half, out of five. The engine and transmission as is to be expected from a car with 42,000 miles on it, in excellent running order. I am very happy with this purchase.

My Son bought a 2007 Nissan Quest from these crooks in March. They gave him the wrong key for the van and promised to send him the original key when they found it. That never happened. Two days after he had the van, he ran out of fuel at 11 0clock at night and I had to bring him fuel. Turns out the fuel gauge does not work. Since the purchase I have Helped him pay for an Anti-Theist Sensor and a new key, total $ 150.00, a new alternator $279.00, a window regulator $140.00, a tune up $150.00 and now we just found out the back Catalectic Converter is bad which will cost another $1200.00. I co-signed on this purchase so I guess my credit and my sons will be trashed now, because the finance company is getting this piece of trash back. Do not deal with these people, people! P.S. my son spent way too much money on this lemon to start with!

My experience at Econo Auto Sales was not good. I spoke to the finance manager and he stated that included in the deposit was the tax and tags. Then when I called again, he was very friendly and stated that he could work w/ me if I put down the minimum deposit which was $1,000. When I went to see him, he showed me 3 cars and stated then after I drove 1-1/2 hrs to see him that the deposit would be higher. Afterwards, he wanted me to test drive their nissan maxima. After I did so, the finance mgr all of a sudden said that the maxima could not be financed by the bank. But he didnt state that in the beginning and he KNEW that I needed financing. My trip to Econo Auto Sales was a waste of time, and they danced around how much the deposit would be. They should have been honest upfront, but was not - BE AWARE!!
