DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESES PEOPLE!!!!! This has been the absolute worst experience with a car dealer we could imagine. We recently had the misfortune of finding a vehicle we loved on the Peter Kays Auto website,car being located at their Alden location. We made arrangements to go test drive the vehicle. When we took it for a ride,there were several lights on the dash board (should have been the first clue),lights that the manager Andy said would most assuredly be off by the time we picked up the vehicle for delivery. We went through the loan application,and being a first time buyer with no credit,they were able to secure us a loan through a friend of theirs that gives loans to people in our situation. So through their "friend" we got a loan with a 25% interest rate,and that was after $3325 down. We go to pick up the vehicle, and that was after they changed the delivery date on us not once but twice,and the TPMS sensor light is on (tire pressure monitoring system), almost no gas in the vehicle,and after driving it for less than 24 hours,the check engine light comes on,the vehicle stalls out on me after shaking and sputtering,and drives all around like complete garbage. We take it back to Peter Kays,this time dealing with Andys son Andrew,they assure us that it will be resolved and they are so sorry (and also that they dont touch TPMS sensors,something his dad completely forgot to mention to us even though he said there would be NO lights on when we picked it up). Fine,but heres the problem,after taking it in and leaving it with them for days (this is our only car!) and not offering any help with a rental or a loaner,they assure us that the vehicle is fixed and we are good to go. Pick it up,drive it home,and within 24 hours the check engine light comes on yet again. Resetting the check engine light and pushing us out the door seems highly likely,as none of the issues of the car were resolved. So,of course we call them again,and again take the car there,and again drop it off to be "fixed". After keeping the car for more days and leaving us without a ride,they call us to let us know the vehicle is "fixed" and that we can come pick it up. Pick it up,whithin 24 hours the check engine light comes on again! How crazy,right? At this point our confidence in their ability to fix things has been severely undermined. This is what we drive our kids around in and its stalling out randomly in intersections. We take it to a different mechanic to get a diagnostic done,paid for us out of pocket of course,only to find out that absolutely NOTHING has been fixed on the car,and as the mechanic said,they were most likely resetting the light and doing nothing. We take it back to Peter Kays armed with what was wrong,and they said they would fix it. Dropped the car off once again for days,and finally after much time they called to let me know that they fixed part of the problem,but that a piece they needed to fix it is still not in. That was over a week ago,part still not in,and the vehicle is driving worse than when it was picked up on delivery. my husband called up,very upset,and when he expressed his concerns, Andrew told him to shut up! What a lack of professionalism! We are now actively working with our attorney and the NYS Attorney Generals Office to exercise our rights under the lemon law. Terrible experience! This was my very first vehicle I have ever purchased! They have absolutely sucked the joy out of this experience for us. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY!!! Please note also,that the only positive reviews on here are from 2 people with the same last name,how interesting!

This place is the worst car dealer Im New York I bought a 18 thousand dollar car there and its been in the shop for 5 month and didnt fix it ...They are nasty lieing dishonest people and the whole pack of them are related ...They will take your money and thats that dont plan on them selling you anything that will last...

Bought my truck here, easily the best price I could find through CarGurus. Had to bring it back for a small issue a few weeks after, they ordered the part and two days later all taken care of! Nice to see someone who works with you after the sale and doesnt just send you on your way
