This place is never, ever, ever..... EVER easy to get into or out of. Its perpetually crowded, often times the items my Family needs are out of stock. The front desk or courtesy desk staff is often seemingly disgruntled... and probably for a good reason since the place is a mad house. The prices are fine.... but I rather spend more for the same products available at the Walgreens in the same parking lot...anything to avoid the long lines at check out, the elbow to elbow shopping experience, and general chaos. The employees hold themselves together through the craziness, but barely, so dont hold it against them if they dont seem overly cheerful in there. This place fuels anxiety, and if you can avoid shopping here, you probably should.... if the owners can figure out a way to remedy the above, it would be a great place to shop but as of now its just like a black Friday at Wal-Mart here.... EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.

Shop here exclusively ALL the time and have been a loyal ShopRite customer for 20+ years. On March 1, 2013 at 4:30pm, asked a customer service rep (a spanish girl at customer service counter) where I could find Gluten free products. She was the nastiest most arrogant person. She couldnt even be bothered to even look up at me as she INSISTED there were no gluten free products and that I should look in another location. Well I searched on my own and guess what? I found a whole damn section of Gluten free products. I went back to the counter and told the girl she was wrong. This isnt the first negative experience with this employee so I followed her advice and went to another location to buy my items - PATHMARK - where I will be going from now on.

They have a few employees that take pride in their work and are good at their jobs, the rest act as thought they would rather be anywhere else. Mornings are best to shop there. Any other time is a nightmare. Long lines, made worse by slow cashiers checking their phones or chatting with managers about breaks. Parking is terrible and made worse by having the pedestrian crosswalk right at the entrance where traffic is entering and turning. All they need to do is move it back 20 feet so cars dont back up into River Road. I live close by and I drive across town to go to Acme or Stop N Shop in Ridgewood when I can.

Prices are great. The shoprite is located right on the border of Paterson, which is not the best of areas. Unfortunately some of that riff raff makes its way over to this location. I dont think your life is at risk, but I would not suggest a woman going here by herself when the sun is down. There is a rumor this ShopRite is moving to where the pathmark used to be in Fair Lawn up the road. I love the Lemon Pure Leaf tea that they have here. It is usually on sale for $1 each. That is a great price considering a lot of other places have it for $1.50 or $2.

I go to this Shoprite only because its near by. But when Im out for the day I go shopping to a more updated, better quality and quantity Shoprite. I find myself disappointed with this Shoprite especially during sales period. There is never what you need, lines are extremely long and if you want a variety of all ready pre-made cakes you might ass well drive to Little Falls near Woodland Park. This Shoprite needs an upgrade, more staff, more of its product and better customer service.

I would give them less than that if I could. I live less than a block away. I go in to express. Key word express. Employees are slow. Should be called "less than 15 items and takes a half hour" under parking is horrible. Cars park illegally and no one at shoprite sees this on the camera. Cashiers are nice but slow. The store itself, prices seem a bit higher than other shoprites. If you can go to another. Im sorry shoprite of fairlawn, but you need to clean up ur act.

one of the worst Shoprites Ive ever been to. They have an inclined, moving walkway to take you up 1 level from the parking garage. Because of this, they have to have special shopping carts which have wheels that lock magnetically on the moving walkway. These carts are in the worst shape of any shopping cart in the free world. The stores inventory is always low, and since the nearby Pathmark shut down, the store is overcrowded.

Great produce range of different foods have been going to this shoprite since i was little and it opened. Have never had nothing to complain about this place. Love how there now taking care of also spanish peoples needs by adding a spanish variety of items to produce and fridge sections. If you think we havent noticed we have and we highly appreciate it. Recommend this shoprite and staff are always nice and friendly.

Always Fresh and almost always packed, I know I end up going during dinner which is a huge rush period (traffic and just volume of people) But I like that they have underground parking with access to the store for those cold winter days, or rainy night. But over all the prices are what to expect at Shoprite and the staff is always happy and willing to help out a customer!

Terrible service, storm anticipated, snow coming down, hundreds if not thousands of customers waiting in very long lines, SIX cash registers CLOSED! No extra help today, and BAD ATTITUDE of management..Prices very high and prepare to PACK your OWN groceries AFTER waiting in very very long lines ----

I love this Shop Rite because I have made friends here. Everyone that I come into contact with in the store is so pleasant and eager to help. I am like family there. I am excepted for me. Thanks for your kindness and attention. Great place for shopping a neighborhood store.

Be prepared to not get what you want and sale items are always gone. Stay away from deli dept. workers dont know the first thing about slicing meat and cheese...just got a 1 lb block of thinly sliced cheese stacked in one pile with no way to seperate. Train your staff!!!!!

They have a good selection of grocery items. The store is very cramped though and when its busy, its hard to get around especially with a cart. The prices are very high though! I usually go a little farther to Walmart or Costco or BJs for items I use a lot.

This place is always crowded. They have both an adjacent parking lot and a basement parking deck, but parking is a nightmare and the store is similarly crowded. The staff is helpful, but the store is poorly laid out, and the food is only OK, not great.

The shelves were poorly stocked. Eggs were broken on the floor. The staff didnt know the location of the items. And the cashier werent customer friendly. This was a store that I shopped at all the time. Dont know if Ill be going back again.
