I was just at this location yesterday and I got phenomenal service from these guys! It started when I called mid-afternoon to see if they could even repair my tire and possibly my TPMS sensor. They explained the possible things that could be giving my tire a slow leak, and told me to come on in. When I told him it would be hard to get in by 6 but I would try, he offered to wait for me!! Wow! I told him thats not necessary, and I would probably bring it in that evening. I got to the shop about 5 minutes after 6. I let them know I had spoken to someone about my car already and they took me in. How awesome, they could have turned me away. :) During my wait they offered me coffee and water and asked if they could get me anything. They were so courteous! They also apologized for the long wait (there were other cars in front of mine), but I didnt care, they got me in when they should have locked the door already! I was so grateful! When my car was done (about 45 minutes after I came in, but I was also the LAST one), they led me to it and told me there would be no charge today. Turns out it was a very minor flat repair and it was just a nail, but those guys fixed it right up! They didnt charge me anything! I had a very bad day earlier, and to receive this kind of excellent service had me almost in tears! I asked again, "You dont want ANYTHING?" The guy just replied, "Your future business!" I told him, "Well, you GOT IT!" Again, just wow. I have already referred one family member who needs new tires (she will be stopping in next week), and will send everyone I know here! They really made me feel like they were happy to have me as a customer, and cared about my car and my safety. Thank you guys!

I would have loved to include discount tire in my possible places to purchase tires but after calling both this store and the Eden prairie store on a Saturday at 11am I was not able to get through to anyone to get a price. No way are you guys going to sell tires if you cant answer the phone and spend 2 minutes to give someone a price. Even if you are answering to ask the person to wait on hold. I am the GM of a retail store and we always answer the phone. In store customers will understand if you ask them to give you 1 minute to deal with a phone call. But allowing callers to sit there listening to ring tones and a non descript message about "all reps are busy at this time, please stay on the line" for 10or more minutes... no one is going to do that!!! Especially when every other competitor tire place I called in the area, Tires Plus, Goodyear, etc all answered within 10 seconds and gave me a price in 30 seconds, w the entire call lasting under a minute each time... this is pretty standard. I would recommend training your employees to always answer the phone within 30 seconds or a minute at the most and politely asking in store customers to bare with them for 2 minutes as I would venture to guess that 90% of your calls will be people asking about pricing and those calls should only last a minute or 2 ... then you give yourself at least a chance at making that sale. Dont answer the call, and you have 0 chance of making a sale! No one comes into stores these days! Definitely disappointed that I couldnt even get a price from you guys!

Nothing but bad experiences with them. They act like commissioned sales people and I bet they are. My first experience was bringing my mothers car in for a tire rotation and they told me I needed to replace them because they were badly worn. I did just that but come to find out they were directional tires that were installed wrong by them. My next experience was to replace tires on my car and they price matched them which was great but when I picked up a nail they offered no priority service and time did not allow for me to wait for 2.5 hours so I had it repaired at Goodyear Tire. The last experience I also picked up a nail but this time I called in for an appointment for the following day because they close at 6pm. When I arrived for the appointment they didnt take my keys and pull it in for the repair but rather proceeded to document mileage and tire condition only to tell me they wouldnt repair it. The would sell me another set of the same tires because the tread was at 3/32" and was prematurely worn. I dint want a new set of tires, I wanted my nail hole repaired but they would not do it so I drove my flat tire to Goodyear in Shakopee. They got me straight in and they gave me a discount because I worked for a local company. I give Discount tire no stars.

I will admit that I found the best price on 4 new Cooper CS5 tires so I had to order them in. They said they would call me when they arrived. They never did so I finally called after more than a week went by. "Oh theyve been in for awhile". So I go get them installed and it took a good part of an afternoon waiting. A few weeks later I ended up getting a nail in the tire which initially was a slow leak. Two times I went there, "oh we are too busy". If you make an appointment we can fix it in about a week". By my second visit it was leaking down in a few hours flat. What a bunch of crap! All they care about is sell, sell, sell. Youd think they could leave one stall for repairs. I ended up taking it to my local full service station, fixed in 10 minutes. Discount tire couldnt give me 10 minutes, it was just a plug. I wont buy tires here again.

The customer service at this location hit a new low today. With all but one bay empty and no one waiting our 3:30 appointment could not be moved up by 20 minutes. I grew up in a family business and the rule was; "drop your fork and get out there and serve your customer." No one should be asked to sit and wait while there is no obvious reason for the wait. It came off as inconsiderate on the part of the person at the desk. Wont even think about going back to this location. I do hope it isnt standard procedure for the staff at Discount Tire to be dismissive of the value of their customers time. This one got a star, only because I couldnt post this without this 1 cent tip.

I havent been to other Discount Tire stores, but Ive been to this one twice and its run very well. The customer service people are very helpful over the phone (usually answer within a few rings), they are very professional and both times I went in prepared to purchase a new tire and possibly four new tires, I came out with inexpensive repairs. This last time they fixed my leaking tire AND rotated the tires for $8. I will definitely go back when I need tires and recommend this place to others.
