I started going here when i got my husky. We always got the best advice. I recently rescued a Shepherd and told them about it and they gave me amazing tips. I met Erin one of the groomers and she gave me pretty much the play by play on what they do during the grooming process. She was wonderful. I took my Shepherd there to get groomed the next day. The floor staff recommended the grooming too. One of them has a Shepherd and gave me the low down on the shedding. He looked like a brand new dog! I almost cried picking him up. They gave him the attention he deserved and when i dropped him off there were 4 staff members loving on him. We will keep coming back. The grooming staff and floor staff are great. True animal lovers and from what i experienced so far give the best advice. The prices are high for some of the stuff they have in store. But theres coupons you can get online and those coupons brings the price down a good bit. Join the rewards program. You wont be sorry. I saw some of the other reviews that said they were turned away for not being a rewards member. That Never happened to me before i signed up.

If you are looking for a great store with a well stocked inventory and an abundance of employees to help you, then go to almost any other store. I have gone to this store for the past three years mainly in part to its proximity to my house but it has never failed to disappoint. Finding an associate in the store to help you regardless of whether you go during the weekday or weekend is a painful process. Most of the time there will only be one person it seems that is working the sales floor in the entire store. The aquatics department also might as well be removed from the store seeing as how I have never been helped in that department by anyone without needing to seek out help or have assistance called. Save yourself the time and energy by avoiding this store.

I love the way the groomer did my dogs nails. She was very professional and friendly. However, I was not happy that I had to wait almost 10 minutes to pay for the service. At one point there was three other cashiers standing around the registers talking. None of them bothered to open the other register. I am sure the six people ahead of me were just as upset with the situation. If I only had items to purchase, I would have put them back on the shelf and left the store. But because I received the grooming service I had to stay in line to pay. Do you think that was good customer service? I hope this store manager sees the need to review your customer service policy with the other employees.

Surprisingly unhelpful employees. Have had traditionally bad experiences from inexperienced staff who push product instead of solutions. Prices seem a bit high compared to local competitors. I generally avoid this store unless specifically looking for something. Also stopped taking my dog for grooming a long time ago when I saw how unprofessional the staff is with handling her. You would think with a window showing 100% of what theyre doing they would not play around constantly. My dog was left alone numerous times on the table as well as having her feet jerked out from under her as they did cut her nails.

Went towards close, location was fairly clean with just a few minor spills. Animal selection was fairly decent but there were a lot of empty tanks in the reptile section. Ferrets and chinchillas also seemed a little bored as they didnt have any toys or enrichment items, just their food and a little hut. Also in my opinion it seemed like they had to many birds per cage, seemed a little crowded. I was approached by staff and asked if I needed assistance or had any questions, every employee I saw was actively engaged.

Staff really know nothing about reptiles and fish. Its only two stars because the 19¢ goldfish I rescued from there is still alive a year later. How they keep their Betta fish is particularly disgusting. Bearded dragons are housed in a sand tank, which is not good for the animals because it can cause impaction. Im sure the employees have good in their hearts, that they just want a job where they get to work with animals, but Jesus their cooperate really sucks.

This place is a mess - the staff is extremely disorganized. Like another reviewer, I signed up for their program and have been denied service twice now for reasons related to their own record keeping. The worst part is that they didnt tell us at the time of appointments, but rather after we brought the dog to the facility. Plus, the two times they did groom our dog, they did a terrible job. Will never go back.

DONT BUY ANIMALS FROM THIS PLACE! I BOUGHT A GUINEA PIG FROM THIS STORE AND HAD HER FOR 3 WEEKS UNTIL ONE MORING I WOKE UP AND SHE WAS PARALYZED FROM THE WAIST DOWN AND TRIED TO CHEW HER OWN FOOT OFF! I TOOK HER TO THE VET AND THEY SAID SHE HAD BEEN SUFFERING FROM SURVEY FOR A LONG TIME AND THAT THE PET STORE WAS MOST LIKELY NEGLECTING THE GUINEA PIGS. WE ENDED UP HAVING TO PUT HER DOWN THAT AFTERNOON! :(

Big KUDOS to the Staff and Manager on duty. Purchased a Chinchilla for my son, both Staff and Manager were extremely helpful, courteous, polite and very knowledgeable about our new Lil fluffy family member. They also helped us gather all the things we needed to keep our Lil Chinchilla happy and healthy. I recommend this store to anyone looking for a pet or any pet services.

The groomers are inconsistent. The person working the counter stated, "The same as last time?" I had confidence that the groomer was going to do the same style. Once I saw my dog, I abruptly realized that they ruined his haircut. It was nowhere near the same as last time. Im pissed at the false hope that they knew what theyre doing! Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

The grooming service was awful. Been to 5 different petcos in the arearly and never a problem. They insisted I sign up for their program then denied my service. Then while trying to "help" they then became sarcastic and short and helping our my situation. I will never use petco grooming services after today. ( well I didnt even get to use them today)

People were very helpful when I was looking for a certain kind of dog food you think I was disappointed and they dont carry Rachael Ray food but neither does Pet Smart my dog likes Rachael Ray food and I thought I would try they are rather than going clear out to Target

Run of the mill large chain pet store. Cages for animals are too small, especially the flighted birds. Promotes aspen bedding, which can cause serious respiratory issues in small mammals. Prices are competitive with pet stores of similar size.

Call the Groomers to see what time they closed and they ask me what kind of grooming im going to do for my dog and i saw a cut and the person that work at the grooming place and he said that. they wont be able to do a cut until Friday

I gave it a 4 star because of the constant changing items they carry. My cats are use to a certain dry food that they will not be carrying in store. Also, they are high on wild bird seed.
