We have shopped this location since they opened and it is very convenient for us. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We go here at least once a week and have repeatedly purchased cat, dog and reptile supplies. They have a good selection of supplies for our needs. They coordinate with the local pet adoption centers to have on site adoption clinics, too. My only complaint is that the store staff doesnt have enough control of their own inventory, which apparently is controlled more by the main office. They sometimes are out of items that dont get restocked for weeks, even after the staff has requested those items be refilled. Overall, we enjoy this store and will continue to shop there.

Ive taken my small dog there about 4 times now. And each time her anxiety increases. Last time she was shaking like a leaf. They were very late in starting her groom. But I watched through the window and saw the groomer pulling her by the hairs to get her to look at her. Every time my dog moved her head, the jerk by the groomer was so fast sometimes my dog squealed. Her tail was all the way under her. I popped my head in to give her soothing words and was told to "get it" as it was against the rules. Thats the last time Im grooming her there. The groomer and the store manager are both immature and unprofessional.

Went there on July 1st to adopt a cat. Their website says that they have a pet adoption event on July 1st and 2nd. Fought Coastal Highway traffic on July 4th weekend to get there. No pets are available for adoption. They told me that their pet rescue is out of business. But their website still lists this event. So it was a completely wasted trip. Wont be going back for pet supplies.

Small Petco, although its nice to have in the area. While there isnt anything particularly wrong with this store in particular, their management has made it clear that they dislike having students with special needs visit their store as a part of their community outings. Awful.

They cut our dog trimming her. They didnt bother to tell us. The manager did comp us the vet charges to get her looked over at the vet. Bad experience.

A little cramped feeling, staff fairly knowledgeable, a little pricey. A decent pet store for the area. They will have trouble when Pets Mart opens.
