I didnt have a good experience at all at the store. I ordered 2 tires to be installed on the front of my car and after 2 days the tires came in and I went in to have them put on. The next day I go out to my car to go to work and after looking at the tires I realized they were the wrong tires and not what I ordered or paid for. I checked the invoice and it had the tires I ordered but what was on my car was not the tires on the invoice. So I called the store and they verified they did indeed put on the wrong tires and told me to come back in and they would "get me in immediately" and fix the problem. So I drove back to Discount tire and waited almost an hour before they were finally able to get my car in and do swap out the tires for what I had ordered. After they were done, I went out to my car to leave and I stopped to check the front tires to make sure they were right this time and to my surprise I see the wrong tires are STILL on the front of my car! So I looked at the rear tires where I see the tires that I ordered and it turns out that they swapped out the wrong tires!! The sales guy who was walking me out to my car, saw what they had done and asked me for my keys back so they could once again put my car on the lift and swap out the tires. I was already over an hour late for work and no way was I letting them touch my car again to mess up something else so I got in my car and left with unmatched tires. Driving back to work, I called the 800 customer service # for Discount Tire told them what happened and they agreed to order in 4 new tires to be put back on my car. I didnt feel comfortable going back to this location so I had them put on at another Discount Tire. All in all, from going in to order my tires originally, to finally getting the right tires put on, I had to go into Discount tire 5 times. Getting 2 new tires was more frustrating and time consuming than it ever should have been. If you still use Discount Tire after reading this, do yourself a favor and make sure you check to see you have the right tires before leaving the store! On a side note, I asked the store manager to at leaset give me free roadside protection for all the hassle and time I spent on such a simple job and he simply said he couldnt do it. In other words didnt WANT to do it. Also...after I got home and looked at the new invoice they gave me after they screwed up for the second time, it noticed in the notes section it said "didnt have the tires the customer requested". Thats a line of BS...it should have said "customer came back in after we put the wrong tires on" and they should have owned up to their mistake but I guess they were more interested in covering their behinds than taking care of the the customer.

I had been to discount tire one time before in Burnsville and had an amazing experience. I had planned on going across the street to another store and just stopped in to see the prices. The manager went out of his way to give me a discount. Everything was awesome about it. This was going to be my second try. I went online for the price and then called to verify how much i would be paying. The prices were the same. I came in and told them what tires i wanted and was quoted at a higher rate. I explained there was a difference in price and Charles said it was because of additional charges for warranty and presure sensor gauges. He never offered any optioned, just rang me up and asked for more money. At this point, i was upset. They gave me a lower price over the phone and never mentioned if i wanted to pay more to have the tire sensors replaced and that he was going to charge me more, even though its required to have them replaced everytime tires are replaced. the hopes to upsell me on a warranty that i assumed came with when the man on the phone said they would be fully covered. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, he said he didnt understand why i was upset. He said some cars dont have presure guages and i called him on that BS. Any car made in 2014 is required to have them and they know that. It should have been included. I left the store and the car was pulling hard to the right. I brought the car back and I spoke to the manager and all he did was make excuses and pretty much said its my fault for buying cheap tires. If they are inferior tires, why sell them. Not happy with their service and customer handling. UPDATE. The car was pulling to the left after i left and i went back that same day for repair. They claimed to have replaced them but after i left, the car was now pulling to the left. I had to drive to SD and it was a nightmare of shaky wheels and getting thrown all over the road. Now my wheels are not balanced and the car is out of alignment. I called back to ask for the corperate number and explained what i had been through. Another employee said for me to come back and he would take care of me and the issues. At this point i am very apprehensive and feel foolish for even going back to that location.

I have been going to this location for about 3 years. They usually do good work (as far as I can tell) but last winter I took my car in to have it switched over to snow tires. When I got the car back, it was missing a valve stem cap and one of the tires only had 15lbs of air in it. If my car didnt have tire pressure monitoring it could have been a real safety issue. The day I had that done it was really busy because it was supposed to snow the next day. I thought that if I went back in to have the mistake corrected it would take longer to do than if I inflated the tire myself. Because of this issue, I was almost late to my friends funeral. Today I took in the car to have the summer tires put back on. I just told them I just wanted the tires switched over. When I picked up the car I discovered that they charged me for replacing the tire pressure sensors. I did not authorize that repair and was charged $28 extra. I suspect that the tire pressure system didnt need any work because it was functioning just fine before I brought it in. If they encountered a problem where they needed to replace the TPS sensors they could have called me to authorize the work. Make sure that you get the final price of the work before you authorize the repair. I was assuming that I would have paid $64 as usual but it ended up being $94. When I came in the guy that helped me was really friendly. When I got the bill he had trouble looking me in the eye. They also put the tires in plastic bags instead of the tire totes that I brought in.
