I bought a puppy guide packet for $20 because it advertises that it includes a free puppy bath. When I called in to set up an appointment for my puppys free puppy bath I was told that it was not valid because my guess for my puppys age is 6 months and the bath is only valid for puppys under 5 months. I told her that for all I know my puppy is under 5 months since I only provided a best guess, just like the previous owner I adopted her from had given me. False advertising much? You cant even see these terms until you buy the packet and open it. Just another great trick Petsmart has come up with to rip you off. Things are so overpriced here, even Halloween stuff doesnt get a decent price months after its over. The least you can do is provide some sort of rewards program that gives customers more than just supposed "better prices" when you spend hundreds of dollars. This is why Im a Petco fan now.

I brought my dog in to be groomed and cant be more shocked. My dogs groom looks like it was done by a student or possibly a bather. I told the grooming salon I was unhappy with the groom and even pointed out the problems which couldnt be correct since there was no hair left. The grooming salon manager yelled at me then called the store manager so he could take her side. I was told I had to pay full price and not to come back. I did not yell and was only upset that I was paying for not only something I didnt ask nor sign for but shotty work. I will not return to this location because they dont honour corrupt policy, yell at customers and dont follow have basic communicational skills. I kept my receipt and was issued a apology and refund from corrupt.

They did a fine job shaving my cats long and matted fur for the summer (we comb him as well as we can, but this little guy is very prone to mats, and this looks so much more confrotable for the summer heat). One complaint - and it is big - they cut his whiskers! You dont cut a cats whiskers - they have a lot of nerves in them, they are very sensitive, not only is this very painful for a cat, but they are thrown off balance by it. They use whiskers to feel and sense objects around them. My GF said she thought she didnt have to tell a professional groomer not to cut a cats whiskers, but Im not like that anymore. I dont assume anyone knows how to do their job, especially since we moved to Utah. Im unfortunately proven right a lot.

The staff is friendly when I go there which I go often to help take take of the great cats that are up for adoption but I went there to buy something this time and I donated money at the register and when I asked the cashier where the money for the donations went she gave me a very broad response. When I asked what shelter it goes to she looked at me and then started talking to someone at the back of the line completely ignoring what I said. If I am going to donate I expect to know where my money is going. The workers should be educated on where the money will be going if they are going to be the ones asking us to donate.

Took my dogs to the groomers to get a wash and cut and they came back with fleas. I have my dogs on monthly flea and tick medication. It was towards the end of the month, so that was probably part of the reason. But now I have had to bomb my house, wash everything, continue to spray and vacuum daily. I know it was from the groomers because I have not taken my dogs any other place in the past 3 months. I have not had any other dogs over to my home, and, like I said, I give them flea and tick medication. The gals are nice, and the grooming was good. But getting fleas is no joke. Thanks for nothing. ~Amy

The employees here are amazing and always able to help!! The selection is great and their return policy on treats and food is a lifesaver! I bought training treats for my rescue Nickels to get him properly houstrained, but when we got back to the house he wouldnt have anything to do with them. When I returned to PetSmart they offered me a full cash refund or the option to just exchange the treats. I just needed the receipt and original packaging. I found some he loves now and everything is great! Im definitely continuing to shop here.

Ive had several dogs groomed here and every time Ive had problems. This latest time I specifically pointed out a mat I wanted taken care of. When I picked my dog up, the mat was still there - and larger because she had been washed. Bits of fur are missed, leaving the dog looking terrible. Ears arent cleaned and plucked. Horrible place for how much you pay. Id recommend you avoid it.

Cut off almost all of my Pomeranians fur even after I called and asked if they knew how to cut them as well as asking in person. Did not explain that they were cutting down to only three fourths of an inch instead of trimming off that much. Just hoping it will grow back right which it has a good chance of not happening. Do not go here ever.

Great assistance when I couldnt carry my dog food because of its weight and my back being tweaked. All the way to my car. And the cashier listened to my crying because of my dog dying and showed genuine sympathy. She also asked ascot my tattoos and empathized about my bipolar. Great service all around

PetSmart has reasonable prices and a great selection of toys and treats. The staff is very helpful and my dog loves to visit. If you have a puppy in need of training, I highly recommend their obedience classes. My dog looked forward to mingling with the other puppies and playing!

Over pricier low quality fish products. Although staff is nice, information given with new tank was historical. I was informed to let my tank run with the filter for two days. Ive never understood this reasoning and I formed my eheim 2217 was fully cycled and fit.

Hated the groomers, did NOT do what I asked when it came to my dog. Prices are too high, and the lady who works in the fish dept treated my daughter and I like we were morons and was VERY VERY RUDE to us. Like she had something BETTER to do than her JOB?!?!

If I could give 0 stars I would very unfriendly the girl with blue and green hair very rude asked her a question and she instantly jump to conclusions asked a 2nt person my question and she didnt have a clue I will never go there again for anything.

I happen to really like the store. They have a good selection of food and the staff is super helpful. The trainers are super helpful and have many ideas for behavior lessons and any questions need to be answered. They are always ready to help.

My dog got FLEAS from this place!!! I had to bug bomb my house twice. Worst part, They told me that they are not responsible. My dog has hes own yard and doesnt go to dog parks, so I dont know where esle he could have got them.
