I went last Monday to get my tires realigned and they told me that my car had rotor issues in the front and they could fix it for $350. Then they told me it would take an hour and a half, in which two hours went by and they hadnt even started the work. I was worried about a long trip I had this Memorial Day weekend, so I stayed longer without causing a ruckus. Then they charge me $400 something because of costs they didnt mention, but I ask them, "Is my car safe and in good condition?" They say, "Yes". So I pay and leave, then as I am driving to my holiday location on Thursday, my back right tire starts to screech like a metal on metal scrapping. It was bad, but I know its not my brakes, because I just changed them 8 months ago. I had to slowly drive back to get another car and be late for my holiday. So great job and thank you for ruining the first part of my holidays and "checking" to make sure my car and tires were safe. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone.

(Im UNSATISFIED MINUS 5 ⭐) I took my car(2008 jeep grand cherokee v6 3.7) to get alignment, tire balance & tire rotation (with a over rated prices I paid closely to $185) yesterday 03/26/2015 @ 6:37 pm onto the Somerset NJ location in Elizabeth Ave; when I got my car back I was wondering why it took them only 14 minutes to the job was because the steering wheel wasnt centered as they have posted on the wall that the offer that with the wheel alignment, car pulls to the right and now when I turn the steering wheel makes wierd Noise like (plah plah plah continuously) and it wasnt doing that sound before I took it there. Every 6 month I take the car (and 3 previous cars) to do the same job (for better fuel economy and better driving) at vespias in Somerville and never had a problem with it!!! Oh and customer service its the worst I can tell the people that had gone to these place havent go to vespias where they really have a great customer service!!!

Ive been to this location several times & each time two technicians in particular have made sure that Im taken care of, that my vehicle is safe & that all the repairs that are required are done in the proper manner. Id like to specifically mention Javier Valdes. He has gone above & beyond the call of duty as an STS employee to make sure I am satisfied. On more than one occasion he has stayed late after most of the staff have left or closed up the store to make sure that my needs are met. I do not remember the other individuals name, but Matt at that particular store is also very knowledgeable about Volkswagen vehicles & is very helpful in making sure I pick the correct parts for my vehicle. I cannot recommend this store enough to friends & coworkers. I look forward to getting a new set of tires from this location soon.

My wife went to this place yesterday to have her 2011 Odyssey oil changed. According to her, they lifted her car up and before changing oil, told her a whole slew of problem that she need to fix including replacing the tires. After the oil changed and before they lowered her car down, my wife noticed two shinning pieces of metal stuff on her tires. She asked the repairmen what that is. They just ignored her. After work, ready to go home, walk to the parking lot, her front tire was as flat as a pancake. Never go to this place again. I told her before she went but she didnt believe me.

You guys are always very courteous and thorough. Even the mechanics are extremley informative when explaining whats needed and the costs, even giving me some options on pricing for certain parts. I also enjoy the convenience of your location to my home. I used to travel out to Pep Boys, and I always disliked their waiting area, as it was grimy and smelled like old oil. You guys have a nice waiting area, and comfortable seating too. Keep up the good car service, and the good customer service!! Thank You

Ive used these guys twice in the past few days. My first car they were able to start on in a very reasonable amount of time, considering I had no appointment. Very professional and courteous. The second car they had our tires in stock, same price as Sams Club. And Sams would have had to order them, which would have taken 5 business days. The tech also helped me bring my tire to the car in the rain! Finally an auto shop where you dont feel horrible after going to! Thanks Steve and Steve!

I came in for a headlight. I thought the labor was a little high. I mentioned it to the guy behind the counter. He said it is estimated to take 30 min. He said if it took less time he would lower the labor to reflect the time it actually took. Ten minutes later he notifies me that I have two other lights out. He said he could change the other two lights. I got the final bill and was only charged for 20 mins. labor and three bulbs. Thank you STS for treating me fairly.

Awful experience. Mavis tried to tell me I needed a special order tire to fix my leak. Took it somewhere else and they patched it without ordering a brand new tire and came out to $20 rather than almost $300. This repair also did not void my tire warranty. Extremely disappointed with how they conduct their business and I will be urging anyone that asks to not use Mavis Discount Tire.

While the time visited 1 was able to speak to some one readily, I left the car over night to have tires replaced. They claimed they found u lug striped and price quote didnt include road hazzard, only found that out at time of write up. They also were suppose to call me about alignment check they never did. Only positive is that they price match.

What can I say they are the so accommodating. I drive long distance for work. When ever I am nervous with a signal that goes off on my commuter with my car I drive up to Mavis and they take care of everything. Steve and the crew are the best. Thank you for making me feel safe.

Its a big clean shop. Went there for an oil change but as usual the guy came up with additional things needed to fix. I will say he went through all the checking at his own cost and allowed me to go for a second opinion. Jake was courteous and explained everything in detail.

Had a very slow leak in my tire. Went to Mavis to plug it. Drove 5 min. to my job, by the time I came out of work the tire was completely flat. They missed the spot. I had my friends at American Tire patch it from the inside. No need to buy a new tire.
