If you are looking for headaches, frustration, incompetence and people lying to your face this is the dealership for you. Pros: At some point you may get a new car. Cons: 1. It took Hertz a week and a half to get our car inspected and ready for delivery after the paperwork was signed. When I called the salesman to ask why it was taking so long for he preceded to get in to and argument with me ending with him telling me "come in and we will rip you paperwork up". He no longer works there, hmm i wonder why? 2. 45 days after the purchase we are still waiting for our registration and our temporary has expired. The manager claims he cant process the paperwork for the registration until he gets the title from corporate. This takes 45 days? Where are they sending it from Venus? 3. Manager refuses to take or return phone calls. Driving to the dealership is the only way to speak to the manager. 4. The new manager will lie to your face. "I return you call but you said your to busy to talk" LIE. "I will call you tonight and let you know if the title came in" LIE. "If the title doesnt come in ill over night you a new temporary registration and you will have it by 10 am" LIE. "yes I sent out a new temp you will have it today" LIE. "no you wont have sign for it" not a lie because you cant sign for something that wasnt sent!! "Your car will be ready for pickup Tuesday" LIE...."Wednesday" LIE..."Thursday" LIE...etc. 5. Hertz raved about how the car passed their "certified used car inspection". I could see that was bogus the tires were bald and the wipers were torn. Sure enough they had to replace the tires to pass inspection and promised me the wiper would be changed. First rain fall I turn on the wipers I cant see anything. "We will replace the wipers" LIE. 6. Hertz will send you a link to a survey asking about your experience, the link wont work. To anyone who temps fate and does business with Hertz car sales in Rockville Centre I wish you the best of luck. Youll need it!!! Sincerely, 45 days in and still waiting to finish our used car transaction.

Coming from CT, I was skeptical about coming to Long Island to find a car since it was a good hour or so out of my way. I worked with Glenn and his manager and they were able to accommodate my situation and help me with paperwork from a distance (email and phone calls). Best of all, since the car was a no haggle, I didnt have to worry about being pressured about pricing. Ended up with the exact car I had been looking for without over paying!! I would definitely come back just for the courtesy and friendliness from this business. Thanks Hertz!!!

i will never purchase another car from them again i have only had my car for 7 months been to the dealer 3 times because of transmission problems then when i went the last time the said the brakes needed to be replaced and there was no way the brakes could have warn down that much on 4000 miles. i was told by the office this is normal repair and to top it off i did not realize that they did not inspect it the day i picked the car up it was inspected 1 month before very unhappy with the service here!

There is a repair shop across the street and the relationship of both establishment seems too connected. I feel sorry for repair shop customers they may end up getting prolonged service on purpose so the Hertz staff could get some sort of commission. The Hertz locations was also attempted to use higher fees at checkout. Good thing we save a copy of ticket. Im a hertz gold member and I love the company. Just not this location.

My son made an appointment to meet with a sales person after being told they were to busy to let him test drive the car he was interested in... And offer another car to test instead. So he made an appointment. Got there waited two hours while the sales person kept passing him up for older couple. Little should she know he is a college grad and currently in med school. Guess if you have a baby face they look past you.

Sales service is mediocre at best. They replaced two tires on an all wheel drive vehicle and refused to acknowledge that it is bad practice to do say and make any accommodations about it. Ultimately you still end up buying from them because the prices are so hard to beat, but it doesnt mean you have to like it.

The car was in good condition, but customer service so far is so bab , we cant get an issue rosolved just because they dont return our calls or they tell us they are going to call us back and they never do ,very frustrating, also dont buy that extended insurance is a scam

No, No, No. I went to this place already convinced to buy a Corolla, but a russian Seller was so rude up to the point of asking if I was going to buy because he had another customers waiting. I dont think I would ever think again about buying a car from Hertz.
