VERY UNHAPPY with in store experience! Staff and management are very confused at the Fullerton location. Staff took almost 2 hours to ring up my sale AFTER credit was approved. Clerk Sabrina was very confused and made several errors including over charging me for warranty price. Called me the next day saying I was owed $30. I called a week ago to check on my order, the representative could not find it by order number or name. I was on hold 20 minutes then was told Id get a call back by end of day, surprise, no call! Went into store, staff was equally confused again. I was told rep did not key in my rewards number and I did not get the credits. Store manager did not get involved whatsoever. After ANOTHER 45 min wait my error was fixed. I was told the original rep made ANOTHER error, I was owed $20 not the $30 she promised. I then shopped for a few more items (big mistake) and quickly approached the register as they were now close to closing. Sabrina as standing at the register idly, another associate asked if she was free to ring up next customer, Sabrina looks at me, rolls her eyes says "nope" and walks off. Another customer walks in and Sabrina proceeds to help them. I asked for the district manager info, I was told by the assistant manager Nyumi that she didnt know who the DM was. I asked for the store manager, she ALSO had no contact info. Very sad that leadership takes such little ownership of the business. Store manager Heather Dupree walked near my transaction several times and never once bothered to get involved to rectify the many mistakes of her staff.

Nice stuff, expensive shipping. Aki Home has some really nice and reasonably priced housewares for both inside and outside your home but we tried to order a sofa online for $399 and the shipping (in state) was $300! In the day of Amazon and so many other retailers vying both online and brick and mortar for business, Aki should up their game.

I love this store! Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very helpful. Its like a Japanese Ikea but smaller. Small amount of furniture, some bedding. Kitchen items. Rugs. Not luxury, but practical if youre on a budget.

Love, love, love this store...! Amazing stuff at VERY low price. I dont know how they make money... This is my go to for inexpensive quick decorating or gift giving store. Love it!
