Tried to get an appointment on Sunday, 9/3 but they were booked. Went ahead and scheduled for the following Sunday, 9/10. A petco employee called Friday, 9/8 to cancel my appointment due to the hurricane which is understandable. When I had attempted to schedule another appointment for the 15th, 16th or 17th they were booked on all dates with no customer service, now at this point in time waiting 15 days by Sunday the 15th. Telling me I would have to schedule for Tuesday the 19th going forward, which I work 9 til 7, Monday through Saturday. Normally spending anywhere between $100-$160 for grooming and upgrades once a month, I would assume I would get a priority for appointment. Looking elsewhere at this point for a place that is more customer service oriented and friendly. Was put on hold multiple times and no one ever came back to the phone line after being on hold up to 10 minutes and getting passed along to different people within the store several times. Very dissatisfied with the service, going elsewhere.

Emerson, the aquatic specialist, is amazing! I have worked with tanks for 30 years and this petco has the cleanest tanks, a better fish selection than any nearby stores by far. He is knowledgeable and clearly loves the fish that he cares for and goes far and beyond for the department. Having gone to this petco for quite some time now, I have noticed on his days off, staff seem to ignore the fish section completely, letting dead fish pile up on his day off. I dont even think they feed the fish while he isnt there. Petco is wasting a valuable employees hard efforts by not maintaining his work (fish tanks need daily effort!) when he isnt there.

Ive been to this Petco about a dozen times, everytime the place is terribely understaffed. I buy a small mouse for my python every couple weeks; This store never has anyone in that department, or any other for that matter. They have 1 or maybe 2 cashiers, a manager that hides in the back until absolutely needed, 1 dog groomer, and 1 guy in the back stocking shelves. Last time I was there it took them over 20 minutes to get me a mouse. Cashiers cannot leave their station, and the manager is no where to be found. Find another Petco or Pet store becuase you will be waiting for quite a while if you choose this one.

I tried to schedule a grooming appointment at this Petco and also called my vet to fax my dogs vac information to them. I set up the appointment and then received a call back from a very rude person at the grooming salon stating that she needed more information from my vet (she stated that she just spoke to them but needed more info). I asked why she couldnt call them back directly and she stated she was busy grooming dogs and that was not her job. I then cancelled my appointment immediately. Such terrible customer service.

I took my dog here to be groomed because she was very matted. The woman told me she may have to shave her down which I understood. However when I picked up my dog I was horrified to see the bad job that was done. Her coat was incredibly uneven and looked rushed. She had multiple cuts on her. Her eyelashes and whiskers were cut unevenly. She looks awful. I will never return to this grooming department again.

Criminals. Check your statement! They charged my card a second time two days after making a purchase. I called the store and they said that I would have to call "corporate" to get my money back. I wont ever be going there again.

Ive been going here for ever since i got my puppy. Ive never had any issues that other people have posted on here. Maybe its the time that they go... Everyone has always been more than helpful and given me good advice.

Stopped by to buy a pet, but I had to ask for somebody to help me, after walking around the same spot for about 20 minutes. So when they called somebody, he didnt seem so sure, or confident in the pet.

My dogs grooming is always horrendous. My young one is a handful, so I think they just hold him down and shave away. He looks awful when Petco is done with him. On to another groomer!

Ive tried to call this place a few times, and it is endless hold, sometimes with no one coming on the line. Someone needs to pick up the phone over there.
